This had all taken place on a Saturday night. I waited until Monday morning to call into the Just a girl in love with her Bruce Dickinson shirt and I will buy this police department with the case number to follow up. This is when I was informed that my case number didn’t exist. There was no record of what had happened. They pretended to take all of our statements and then threw them out. I called the Starbucks and requested the footage and the manager told me she was personally scared of the police after what she had seen and refused. She begged me to leave it all alone as she was scared for her personal safety after the incident. That week I received numerous threatening phone calls from blocked numbers naming my family members. It’s not good to steal, but damn is this country fucking gruesome anymore.I have to admit that there is a part of me that rejoices when I read stories like this.

But then I imagine how chaotic and scary life would be if everyone did something like this. Bullets would be flying everywhere. And not just over trucks. Would you be willing to take a bullet as an innocent bystander when someone violently confronts your next-door-neighbor, who they believe stole their bike or iPhone? I would not. And I would not want thieves to feel like they have to kill their victims to avoid future retribition. Right idea, wrong phone #… gotta call the Just a girl in love with her Bruce Dickinson shirt and I will buy this insurance adjuster… they will kick that guys ass and it will all be legal lol The problem I have with this story is, do we even know if the driver of the truck was the thief that stole the truck? They very well could be (and most likely are), but I guess there could be the possibility they thought they were driving a legit vehicle (e.g., someone borrowing the vehicle from the thief not knowing it was stolen). It’s a good question. According to the article, there was some sort of discussion or argument that led to the shooting so if that was the case, the person at least had time to explain that. That doesn’t mean the owner of the truck would have believed him though.
