My guess – and I think it is an excellent guess – is that Ukrainian G2 is well aware of conditions inside that convoy and they are not good. You cannot have mobile forces sitting around like this and not lose focus. Morale deteriorates very rapidly. Maintaining morale requires drilling (marching), calisthenics, lectures and morale boosting talks from commanders. And above all. ABOVE ALL. No alcohol. And I’d bet a year’s salary none of this is happening. This could be the Just a boy who loves waifus and ramen shirt and I will buy this cleanup crew rolling in after Piglet drops some horror on the country (thermobaric / nuke) I hope I’m wrong. I’m absolutely loving all the retired US military guys commentary on TV (James “Spider” Marks being my fav). They’ve all been trained and conditioned their entire careers to respect and prepare to fight the ruskies, yet they see them in action in Ukraine and they can’t believe how INCOMPETENT they are. They’re almost giddy. They know that if they had a chance they’d crush these clowns in five minutes. This convoy is the ultimate example. Bunched up like sitting ducks. A few Warthogs and Apaches and it’s game over. Maybe NATO should “forget” a few A-10s near the Poland-Ukraine border, like “oops we parked these here and left the keys, surely that will be fine, let’s go drink a few pints” annnnd convoy problem solved. Whoever is in charge of logistics for the Russian military should be commended for their efforts in defeating the Russian military.
