Strong roots in masculinity. Two men together are “feminine” and supposedly not what men should be. But women together are generally fetishized by men. They view it as twice as good as one woman, because it’s two women together It’d not that culture is more accepting as such, it’s that the Joo fighters in memory of taylor hawkins 1972 2023 signature shirt in addition I really love this culture is more… Dismissive of women, and as such they’re not considered as much of a ‘threat’. Men see lesbians and think it’s hot, they see gay men and think it’s gross. They believe that women and women’s sexuality are there for their enjoyment, not to be taken seriously in their own rights, and the existence of lesbians is just some tantalising porn scenario to them. Most lesbian representation in media has tended to be sexy femmes, or maybe cool androgynous waiflike and still conventionally attractive women. Look at how the same western culture tends to react when seeing of big masc stone cold butches, of diesel dykes and fat lesbians with crew cuts who wear men’s clothes and play women’s rugby. Much less accepting all of a sudden!

Gay women are seen as masculine and therefore (under the Joo fighters in memory of taylor hawkins 1972 2023 signature shirt in addition I really love this eyes of western patriarchy) trying to “improve” their status positively. Gay men are seen as feminine and therefore “devaluing” their status negatively Western society has been misogynistic since early times. Being gay is seen as being feminine. So it’s OK for two women to be feminine since it’s what is expected, but two men in a relationship, what’s asked a lot? “Who’s the wife of the relationship”. They need to put a feminine spin on it. And many straight men have sexual fantasies of being with two women. In their mind they put themselves into that sex scene with the two women. The women probably wouldn’t accept him in their sex scene, but to the man, he’s a straight male, so any woman would be happy to involve him in their sex. Straight men think two women fucking is for their entertainment. They find lesbian relationships hot and fantasize about threesomes with lesbians.
