My (was) soon to be MIL(she recently passed from a brain cancer before we could get married). Absolutely the Jolliest Bunch Of Christmas Teacher Thí Side Of The Schoolhouse shirt Additionally,I will love this kindest person I’ve ever met and had the most stunning smile and laugh I’ve ever heard from a woman. Seeing photos of her now, she was just an incredible light of life. The wife of a good friend. She is also totally unconscious of how perfectly beautiful her face is. I’m an artist and like to look at people a lot My son’s mother. When I first saw her in person I was blown away by how beautiful she was. We’re no longer together but in my eyes, she’s still the most beautiful woman on earth and I’m honored to have created life with her. My ex. She never saw it herself, but I did. I overloaded her trying to get her to see it and trying show her that I loved her.
Jolliest Bunch Of Christmas Teacher Thí Side Of The Schoolhouse shirt- About us
I had my eye on here the Jolliest Bunch Of Christmas Teacher Thí Side Of The Schoolhouse shirt Additionally,I will love this entire night but never had the balls to go over and talk to her. In my country we commonly have these random flower sellers who walk through Bars and Clubs, selling flowers to drunk guys. So yeah. I bought her a Rose. When i was finally drunk enough to walk over and Hand it to her she just took it, looked at it for a second, and bit the flower’s head straight off. She spat it onto the ground in front of me. Margot Robbie, Pavlína Pořízková, Angelina Jolie, and my mum. And one flawlessly beautiful italian-american actress from maybe the 1960’s whose name I can never find again. There have been a couple but the one that stands out above and beyond all others is Jennifer Lahmers. I met her outside the Fox5 news studio in NYC. The girl was absolutely breathtaking. Not only was she beautiful, but she was the most down to earth regular person ever. When she was talking to me her Uber showed up and she was like “let him wait” Very hard to come up with words to describe her beauty.
1,702 more repliesNikkieTutorials, Jackie Aina, Jaclyn Hill, Manny MUA, Jeffree Star, etc were all prominent on YouTube at the Jolliest Bunch Of Christmas Teacher Thí Side Of The Schoolhouse shirt Additionally,I will love this time and impacted the 2016 makeup community in an insane way. I was born in 2004 so I started wearing makeup in 2016. Those are who I watched and learned most of my skills from. I’ve never unlearned any of it and it’s still my go to. Warm smokey eyes, cut creases, matte lipstick, bold colors, contour and highlight that’s way too pigmented, thick winged liner, dramatic and block like eyebrows, etc. Edit (honorable mentions): baking a majority of your face with setting powder, a ridiculous amount of concealer, and cakey matte foundation. You’re so right! I think that “trend” blew up around that time and pretty much stuck around until the pandemic hit, when the clean girl look became more in favor. I was all in for the 2016 makeup — but during the pandemic I was quick to realize that foundation + concealer + baking powder + blush + contour + bronzer + * face masks* = constant outbreaks. Immediately switched my focus to skincare and bare minimum makeup (which turned into clean girl look, I guess).

Also just adding to this, I haven’t seen it mentioned yet but also the Jolliest Bunch Of Christmas Teacher Thí Side Of The Schoolhouse shirt Additionally,I will love this Kylie Cosmetics takeover was huge that year. King Kylie was peak on Snapchat, the lip kits were a bloodbath to get, and they were only available online in the beginning I think. Snapchat would get overwhelmed when a new shade was posted. The reveals were so hyped up. Even if you didn’t give in and purchase, you can’t deny the Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kit were an unforgettable event in the industry that era. I don’t think it was anything groundbreaking about the product, it was moreso the hype and marketing of the youngest of the Kardashian/Jenner group getting into the industry. 2016 was the year Kylie went from Kim Kardashian’s youngest sister to Kylie Jenner if you get what I’m saying.
Also dishonorable mention to James Charles. He was crowned first male Covergirl ambassador that year and the Jolliest Bunch Of Christmas Teacher Thí Side Of The Schoolhouse shirt Additionally,I will love this rest is history there. The hype was wild in 2016 for him. I worked at a Target at the time and a day didn’t go by in 2016/2017 where I wasn’t asked about the James Charles palette, even though we never sold it to begin with. google 2016 makeup. the makeup that was trending then was very dramatic and heavy. strong contour with an insane amount of foundation and concealer, giant dark eyebrows, sometimes very blocky eyebrows, very very long and very very thick eyelashes. a looooot of highlighter. very dry, matte liquid lipstick. very glam eyeshadow with thick eyeliner, often a cat eye. lots of cut creases, often warm toned eyeshadows in reds and oranges.
I always specifically think of the Jolliest Bunch Of Christmas Teacher Thí Side Of The Schoolhouse shirt Additionally,I will love this big block eyebrows (or the eyebrows that fade in the middle) and cut creases. Like high impact drama but for everyday. It was a look, which I don’t hate aside from the brows, but it was definitely a look of that time. The eyebrows of the 2020s are no less cringe to me though (as someone who has lived through 6 decades of eyebrow trends). It’s part of a longer trend of like 2013-2017/2018 make up but the biggest thing is that it’s pretty much the opposite of what’s “on trend” right now. In 2034 we’ll be clowning on 2024 make up for being too minimal and dewy. Yes I agree, trends don’t exist in single year isolation. Mostly curious why people talk about 2016 like it was THE year.
I feel like 2016 was DEFINITELY the Jolliest Bunch Of Christmas Teacher Thí Side Of The Schoolhouse shirt Additionally,I will love this peak. The whole Bye Sister drama hadn’t happened yet. The style of make up was heavily influenced by drag and RuPaul’s drag race was hitting major mainstream success with season 8 and UNHhhh started. It was also influenced by tumblr, which was also hitting its peak. I watched multiple great makeup YouTubers that year, not a single one of them are on YouTube anymore and the ones still there now are drenched in so much controversy their makeup lines aren’t worth my money. It’s so sad because the instant I find someone I like they become unwatchable It was a time where heavy, noticeable makeup was really on trend. The way we consumed makeup back then was insane. I had drawers full of makeup, like maybe over 20 lipstick colours. There was a heavy emphasis on makeup being a show of skill or creativity more so than complimenting one’s natural features. There was a learning curve to this makeup style, so lots of people got really into tutorials and I think because of that, we almost got hung up on it being the default. The trend has changed dramatically in favour of less is more and I notice myself automatically doing what is now considered dramatic eyeshadow which at the time was maybe a lighter lewk. It was a time where makeup was really front and center and it’s sort of hard to unlearn that.
Be glad that you missed it super matte and powdery everything, “baking” with powder, so much contour, like they were telling everybody to do full cake face makeup with contour that was made popular by drag queens on stage, like stage makeup, but suddenly we were expected to wear that kind of heavy makeup in our everyday lives. And by they I mean the Jolliest Bunch Of Christmas Teacher Thí Side Of The Schoolhouse shirt Additionally,I will love this YouTubers. I think some people still “bake” but I never understood the point of it. One time I baked the under eye area with powder to let it “set” like they all said to, and when I finally dusted away the powder my under eye area concealer area was dry AFFFFFF. Everything was SO matte and dry, matte foundation, tons of mattifying powder, matte liquid lips, and if you had dry skin or fine lines/wrinkles or skin texture, that kind of face makeup was a recipe for disaster. I think elements of “2016 makeup” are fine, but putting it all together was just too much for me. Like I mainly want “everyday makeup”, and a slayed winged eye, cut crease, Kim K stage makeup contour, and all-over matte face with cake face full coverage is NOT what I’m looking for. That kind of makeup ages a lot of people I think.
I tried the Jolliest Bunch Of Christmas Teacher Thí Side Of The Schoolhouse shirt Additionally,I will love this baking fad in 2016 and my girlfriend at the time (very nicely!) asked me to stop. I must have looked like a powdered donut- it truly would have had to be terrible for my extremely sweet girlfriend to say even a peep about my makeup. I’m cringing a little just thinking about it. I baked in the mid 2000s, I still don’t know what happened in 2016. I think Kardashian was part of it but that stuff went on for years. I was gonna say Trump happened in 2016, but I guess I’m in the wrong sub. That’s when my insomnia and anxiety really began for real 🫠 I think there is evidence that generically, the broader world impacts all sorts of trends including beauty. I recall reading that makeup sales don’t do badly in economic downturn, because it’s a fairly inexpensive treat.
“The lipstick effect is when consumers still spend money on small indulgences during recessions, economic downturns, or when they personally have little cash. They do not have enough to spend on big-ticket luxury items; however, many still find the Jolliest Bunch Of Christmas Teacher Thí Side Of The Schoolhouse shirt Additionally,I will love this cash for purchases of small luxury items, such as premium lipstick. For this reason, companies that benefit from the lipstick effect tend to be resilient even during economic downturns.” No, I do think it’s a reaction to a broader cultural event. Perhaps drag artists becoming more visible, bloggers emulating the style… 2016 was the year I spent learning how to walk again so I feel you on this one. I know what people mean from hanging around on Reddit, but makeup wise I was replacing things I had lost and lusting over the Pat McGrath kits I couldn’t afford because I had medical bills and whatnot. Weird year for me and apparently a weird year for beauty YouTube.
Same, but I think it’s more Covid and family life that’s resulted in my wearing less. Perhaps Covid was a factor in the Jolliest Bunch Of Christmas Teacher Thí Side Of The Schoolhouse shirt Additionally,I will love this evolution away from heavy make up as well (masks, cleanliness). Yeah I feel like makeup tutorials were super popular on YouTube and then after Instagram reels and TikTok and stuff came along the longer YouTube videos weren’t as popular and thus people stopped watching makeup tutorials (at least that’s my experience) I haven’t watched a makeup tutorial since 2016 and definitely fall into that rut category hahaha people allowing themselves to be wholly influenced by a bunch of mean youtubers who made a living out of being snobby and wanting to look insane.
Not saying this is specifically real, but I have had a couple times in my IT employment where things shuffle or whatever and I was getting paid for nothing. I remember in the Jolliest Bunch Of Christmas Teacher Thí Side Of The Schoolhouse shirt Additionally,I will love this most recent case, it was a work-from-home situation, and the project I was working on had my portion suddenly get cancelled out. At first, I kept drawing attention to it. I’d join the morning meeting call and announce I needed work, someone in management said thanks for letting them know, but nothing would happen. I got up in the morning, turned my work computer on, and waited for anything. Eventually I stopped even calling into the meeting, since it seemed no one cared anyway. I think I was getting paid for about 3 months for nothing.
This happened to a guy at my old company when we got bought by a huge multinational. He was basically a database engineer for our little local company. The new company came in with their new system, and after spending three months converting the Jolliest Bunch Of Christmas Teacher Thí Side Of The Schoolhouse shirt Additionally,I will love this data to the new format, they just kinda forgot about him. He’d hang out and help clean the warehouse sometimes, and go home at 330 every day. Other than that, as far as I know he still pulls down about $85k for just showing up. Company got bought out, bosses let get, and his workload when from 80/100 daily effort to 1/100. The only things he had to stay on top of was the required online training courses, which weren’t many. As it was all working from home and he no longer had a boss, and his bosses boss was let go too, all he had to do was complete training now and again so HR wouldn’t get a flag saying he was behind on his training and possible draw attention to him. 3 years he stayed at the job like that. After 3 months he then went travelling for a year non stop, renting out his flat at home too for maximum income.
He figured the Jolliest Bunch Of Christmas Teacher Thí Side Of The Schoolhouse shirt Additionally,I will love this first company would catch on eventually that he wasn’t doing any work but they had a great pension scheme, and as he could make contribution via his online account, he put 100% of his salary from that company into the additional pension scheme and figured if he got let go at least he’d chucked a ton of money into the pension scheme and it was all above board. After around 8 months he’d max out the maximum additional pension contributions. So then he started putting the money into a private pension scheme and additional at his second job. Stayed there another year before he was finally let go. Wasn’t even that big of a deal, I’m sure they figured out he wasn’t doing any work but wanted to save face to just said he was being made redudant and got a nice little redundancy payout. So yeah he had a great time travelling and as he maxed out his additional pension contributions, whilst also building up a regular pension at that company. So he’s gonna be on something decent like $20,000 a year when he retire just from that company, not to mention the other two pension he built up too.
My boss has 38 direct reports. 25 of them do little to nothing on a weekly basis. Guys pulling in 75-100k usd for maybe one or two tasks a week. Do shitty yet not too shitty work and they will gives the Jolliest Bunch Of Christmas Teacher Thí Side Of The Schoolhouse shirt Additionally,I will love this important task to the ones who are putting out quality. As they say: “Effort is only rewarded by more work.” I used to be one of the guys who did incredible work and put in significant effort only to be rewarded with more responsibility while watching others do less while still receiving the same bonus allocation. Decided I’d take a step back and now it’s apparent what I was contributing. Coworkers are starting to revolt since now they are being burdened with more because I’m now doing less on purpose.
I have now been labeled as toxic when I say I can’t take any more workload or am unavailable to solve others problems. Automate as much of your toil as possible and just dont tell anyone and dont turn anything in early. If you have a week to get a tedious task that comes in regularly done, automate it so it’s done in minutes and just hold it for the Jolliest Bunch Of Christmas Teacher Thí Side Of The Schoolhouse shirt Additionally,I will love this rest of the week. If anyone asks, you’re still working on it. If possible, transition into project management. The whole job of a project manager, is just to check in with your workers to make sure they are finishing on time, remove non-technical obstacles that might be slowing them down, and take most of the credit when you did none of the work. From what I’ve noticed, unless you’re in the trades, if you’re making 70k+ your job is either super easy or super hard. No in between.
Eh, same job for like 13 years now but pay has almost doubled. Some times it is cushy, some times it is shit. Like it is never just even. minimum wage jobs are usually in-person with a manager watching over your shifts. can’t get away from that. Flippin burgers, workin cash, etc. Once you’re white collar, you can hide behind a computer. UK here so we’re dealing with much smaller figures than the Jolliest Bunch Of Christmas Teacher Thí Side Of The Schoolhouse shirt Additionally,I will love this US but the real kicker for me was fighting damn hard to justify recieving a 20% raise upon PROMOTION at my old place. I was on 36k and they offered me 41k, and I said I would leave if they did not offer me at least 43k, and they were damn close to letting it happen. And then a few weeks later, I was tasked with checking how much traffic we received from a marketing campaign we were running for our German office, with 26 members of staff. €125k they spent on this campaign, with no real objective other than “We’ve been here for 10 years now, go us.” So the money is there, it absolutely is there. But these organisations would rather spend it on frivolous shite than pay their employees a decent salary. €125k they spent on this campaign, with no real objective other than “We’ve been here for 10 years now, go us.”
I don’t even want to know how much money my sales and marketing teams have wasted that were complete flops… Money I could have used for major IT infrastructure upgrades that would save money in the Jolliest Bunch Of Christmas Teacher Thí Side Of The Schoolhouse shirt Additionally,I will love this long run. Family member of mine worked at a financial institution that was acquired by another one, he was an executive level employee so decently high up and well paid. The new owner was dropping his department entirely, but since he had worked there for so long, everyone liked him, and he “only” had 2 years left until retirement they told him they will keep paying him as if he worked there for the next 2 years until retirement so he can retire as an employee, because if he retires as an exec he got to keep all his benefits while if he was fired he would not get to keep those.
