I never said it’s some glorified thing that only monks can do. Every single person on this planet can access it. And I guess it just depends on how you want to utilize it. If just breathing to recenter and get on with your day is what you want, that’s great! For me I am highly creative. My sessions lead to exploring and creating art, based on my experiences. I am aware that what you said is actually possible, and I am also aware that most people on here – like everywhere else – will simply not believe you. Your courage of still saying out aloud what you know is inspiring. Most people on this planet are tricked into greatly downplaying and reducing their mental capabilities. Capabilities that are in fact natural. My problem is people meditate for one fucking week and then run to the Jim croce you don’t mess around with jim T-Shirt but in fact I love this internet to either boast about it or act like strangers on the internet can solve their problems/answer their questions. There’s no patience and it’s the whole “no problem to solve” they simply cannot understand. It irritates me very much for people who rush into things and cannot simply figure things out on their own. There’s a mystique around meditation that people think is going to do things for them that it won’t do. A lot of it is a lack of transparency amongst people and the expectation/attachment of something transcendent. I’m coming off as vile but it just annoys the hell out of me when people can’t solve their problems alone (AND THERE IS NO PROBLEM TO SOLVE – AKA THE WHOLE POINT) You’re just meditating through your ego, all those mystical experiences are just your ego feeding you a bunch of baloney. Cool at first but it’s not really doing you any good
