And on daylight savings because we only work 11 hours our second break is on 30 minutes instead of 45 minutes.

We were on a rotating schedule with a high turnover rate so this wasn’t necessarily the case. After not getting the hour of OT the first year I made sure to take that day off for the remaining years I was there. Use 8 hours of PTO for a 9 hour shift. Since you are transiting the ocean time changes are an extremely frequent occurrence. The difference is the ship decides when to make those changes. As a result they only moved clocks forward at night and only moved clocks back during the work day.
