This is the Jayson Tatum Boston Celtics name and number ugly shirt moreover I will buy this part that throws me the most in non-binary or trans mentality. Yes there are for sure some legit body dysmorphic people and I view that as a mental disorder no different than autism or adhd. Is it bad? No. Is it “normal”? No. But just because you don’t fit into “social norms” (which often just means what YOU or those around you view yo be norms) doesn’t mean you don’t fit the category. I feel like having to identify as something else just enforces gender norms rather than freely saying “I’m a woman but I wear whatever the fuck I want and do whatever the fuck I want and love whoever the fuck i want.” As a trans person, I pretty much never see trans people within trans spaces suggest that not fitting gender norms means you are trans, without an absolute avalanche of other trans people jumping in to correct them. There are always exceptions, but generally speaking— people are not turning their lives upside down, getting kicked out of their families and communities, undergoing surgery and going through a second puberty, solely because they think their gender identity/sex needs to match societal gender norms. We will never fit gender norms because we will never be cis. Most people transition to live in congruence with their deepest sense of self. Yeah im totally just putting myself at additional risk of a hate crime for fun because being trans sounds like it would make me special XD

Jayson Tatum Boston Celtics name and number ugly shirt: Express with Style

I know a lot of trans girls who are tomboys and trans men who are very feminine men. I also know very feminine trans girls and very masculine trans men. I promise the Jayson Tatum Boston Celtics name and number ugly shirt moreover I will buy this trans community isn’t kidnapping every slightly gender non conforming person lol I always found it strange how people say “Don’t say this to women” or “Women shouldn’t be treated like this”. When you could easily just say people, men don’t like being mistreated either. You almost never hear anyone say “Don’t say this to men” or “Respect him that’s somebody’s father, grandpa, son, uncle etc”. I think the cultural context is that a man can & will kick your ass for disrespecting him. Which is also problematic, but in a different way. Plus, usually not saying things to or treating women a certain way is generally used to keep them ‘pure’ (for men) but certain other women you would say and treat them another way.
I think I get exactly what you mean. I’m a woman who presents more “masculine”, and I’ve had people tell me that I dress too much like a guy, or might as well be a guy based on how I act. But I’m not trying to be a man, I’m just trying to be myself. If that happens to align more with traditional masculinity, then I shouldn’t have to be questioned about it. I have nothing against being a woman, but if being a man would make it easier to be myself, then I would take it. I also feel uncomfortable with gendered terms/stereotypes, and think we as a society need to move past using gender as a descriptor of arbitrary things. You’re not being frustrated about being a woman, you’re frustrated about how the Jayson Tatum Boston Celtics name and number ugly shirt moreover I will buy this world degrades and discriminates you because you’re a woman.

Step by step to buy Jayson Tatum Boston Celtics name and number ugly shirt

And luckily, countless women in the Jayson Tatum Boston Celtics name and number ugly shirt moreover I will buy this past have felt the exact same way and stood up for themselves and us, fighting for the rights we now have. Which is why we need to improve things for future women. Tysm for your answer, you described it perfectly! We have to pave the way for future woman to not feel belittled anymore I have never been a woman so I don’t know anything about that. But in my experience it is quite frustrating to be “a man”. First of noone agrees on what “a man” is but somehow I never seem to measure up to this concept. People meet me with assumptions that I like sports, that I lust for women and act like a horny teenager. They think I have macho bravado and am incapable of talking about feelings. I find myself trapped in a role I have no script for with a judgmental audience that has criteria I do not know what are. I am a man but I honestly have no idea what that is supposed to be. I share your frustration of being seen as only my genitals. To be dismissed as just my gender. I was working at an old folks home last spring and on my final day I had to let one of the old ladies beat my arm black and blue as I very calmly and friendly guided her back to her room (she had been up for almost 24 hours and was extremely angry, confused and delusional, she slept a couple of hours and then she was all smiles and lovely with no memories of beating me up). And after I had defused the situation and gotten the old lady safely back to her room none of my female coworkers asked me how I felt or even acknowledged that I had been attacked at work. I think because I am a man and a man has to suck it up and tough it out. I hate that. When I get home from work and the adrenaline let go I felt like crying. And like breaking something and yelling. Ultimately I didn’t do either and instead played some video games and pondered how absolutely weird it is to be human.
I was taught that men don’t cry or show emotions. Still fucks with me and I’m 40. Anytime someone dies like my favorite uncle a few days ago I have to hide somewhere and cry by myself. I’m by no means advocating for this means of coping with painful situations but I think a lot of men were raised like this. Especially us older guys. Also, it’s disappointing to hear that someone as young as 40 was still brought up with this “big boys don’t cry” mindset. The sooner that nonsense, and all the Jayson Tatum Boston Celtics name and number ugly shirt moreover I will buy this other sexist bullshit, is stomped out the better! I didn’t have to be told not to cry. Did it in front of enough women and just saw the attraction dissolve. Eventually, you just learn that crying means no more sex. It took a decade with my wife to understand not every woman is like that. But there’s no way to tell till it’s too late.
I’m really sorry you had to hide such a strong emotion like the Jayson Tatum Boston Celtics name and number ugly shirt moreover I will buy this grieving for a loved one. “Men don’t cry” is a false statement that has fucked up a lot of lives. I really hope things get better for you Tysm for your answer, I’m so sorry you had to deal with that situation :(. Thank you for sharing this experience, sexism is really shitty. I hope you don’t have to go through any of this ever again just because you’re a man This is what many people don’t get, gender roles suck for everyone. Women probably have it worse on average but it’s not a competition of who gets more screwed by them, we should all try to change this, together. Tysm for saying this, totally true. I didn’t mean by any way to belittle men’s experiences with sexism with this post. I hope we will someday join together for the greater good
If you’re trying to do this together, stop saying shit like “women probably have it worse.” You’re the Jayson Tatum Boston Celtics name and number ugly shirt moreover I will buy this one introducing a division that doesn’t need to exist. I’m not introducing anything lol I’ve seen enough women suffer from things that we will never face besides in very rare cases, the least I can do is recognise that. Exactly. The reason women have it worse on average is because there is no power with the gender role unless it’s for a man’s pleasure. Which is a very weird ‘power’ because it benefits both and not one. I think a lot of people will tell you that you might be non-binary, but you aren’t necessary non-binary just because you recognize that a lot of things in our life are pointlessly gendered. Hairstyles, clothes, colors, hobbies, jobs….and that’s just the top of the pointlessly genderd iceberg.
I think a good test to see whether you are actually non-binary or whether you are just frustrated about pointlessly genderd things, is to see if genderd expectations towards other people, and mainly towards the Jayson Tatum Boston Celtics name and number ugly shirt moreover I will buy this opposite sex frustrate you just as much as gender expectations towards you or your on sex. You can also read essays from non-binary people and their experience and see how much it alignes with yours. But btw, just to answer your question, yes it’s normal to feel frustrated about your own gender whether you are a man or a woman in a society that places a lot of illogical and unnecessary gendered expectations on individuals based on their sex. So true. I’m a pretty feminine cis woman who’s also a huge feminist who loves knitting and baking and I can’t tell you how much those stupid Bic for Her pink glitter pens enrage me. You don’t need to be non-binary to find many gender norms and gendered products utterly stupid. I buy all my perfume from independent perfumers who don’t gender their scents. They just say “if you want to smell like an autumn beach bonfire, this is for you”. Like why artificially restrict your market share to 50% of the population when you don’t have to?
Tysm for your answer, being non-binary is such a interesting point. In fact, I pondered over identifying as a trans man or non-binary for a long time. Recently, I came to terms with my gender identity and came to the Jayson Tatum Boston Celtics name and number ugly shirt moreover I will buy this conclussion that I am a cis woman. However, I’ll look into the topic a bit more. With your comment, I’ve realized I’ve just heard about binary trans experiences For what its worth, coming at this from the perspective of a trans woman, the thing that’s going to get people thinking there might be more involved than just being annoyed at gender roles and sexism is this comment: But if I were to choose, I much rather be percieved as a man. I’d be happier. Not because of privilege or something, I’m lucky to live in a egalitarian country where I can do almost anything a man does. It’s something deeper. I spent about a decade trying to figure out what was up with my own gender identity – for most of that time, I vaguely settled on quietly identifying as nonbinary until I realised I was a woman, because I was still on some level kind of hung up on gender stereotypes (I’m not now and never have been particularly feminine, and at the time I wasn’t even aware I was attracted to anyone but women – meanwhile I know nonbinary people who thought they were binary trans because they were never particularly androgynous, so it definitely works both ways).
For me, the Jayson Tatum Boston Celtics name and number ugly shirt moreover I will buy this thing that finally got me to realise what was really going on was having a chat with a trans guy and realising we felt exactly the same about our respective experiences going through puberty the first time despite, y’know, we both would have preferred to get what the other had to go through, good and bad, and then after that doing a little thought experiment where I just kind of…mentally tried on being a cis man, nonbinary, or a trans woman. I sat down and let myself think, “Okay, I’m not trans. I’m a cis guy. What does my life look like from now on, then?” – and I thought through what I’d need to deal with, especially the downsides that would come with just being a cis guy. The important thing was that I didn’t just ask, “What if I’m cis?” – I sort of just let myself think, “I am cis, now what?” for a few minutes and really pay attention to how it felt thinking about all the things I’d have to deal with from now on. Then I tried the same thing with, “I am nonbinary,” and, “I am a trans woman,” and again that included a lot of thinking about the downsides not only of being a woman or nonbinary but being trans on top of that. At the end of it even though I would objectively have to deal with a lot more problems as a trans woman than a cis man, those somehow felt like they were my problems to deal with. Being a woman felt like it fit in a way that being a man or being nonbinary just didn’t.
I used to feel the Jayson Tatum Boston Celtics name and number ugly shirt moreover I will buy this same frustration as OP, but the older I get, the less people try to tell me how I should be based on my gender and the less I care for the people that try to. I feel like a lot of non-binary people, but specially women who identify as non-binary, are actually just frustrated from all this gendered bs. Because the universe of what is considered feminine is so restrictive. Like, pink is for girls, every other color is for boys. Girls like dolls and playing house, every other toy and game is for boys. Girls look like this, girls behave like that. When you see you don’t conform to such a restrictive mold, you might start to question your own gender, when really, that makes so little difference to who you actually are.
Yes. We need to teach kids that all colors and toys and clothes are for all genders. Being a boy that likes dresses means….you like dresses. Eh…I would like to assume that the Jayson Tatum Boston Celtics name and number ugly shirt moreover I will buy this vast majority of non-binery afab people are actually non-binery. When you are non-binery you don’t really feel like that being either gender would be better for you spesifically, it’s more about feeling like being precived as any gender is inherently restrictive and it often comes down to more than just dumb gender roles, it’s also about pronounces, ect. Supposedly when you don’t conform to your birth gender it’s an issue of feeling wrong about your body, not just about how other people perceive you. I said that lots of people who identify as non-binary are actually frustrated by society dumb gender ideology, they don’t have any actual problem with their biological gender. I never said “all” nb people are like that, I also didn’t say “most” nb people are like that. Yes, I work in a heavily male dominated industry and although I am a bit more feminine than other women, we all get lumped in as just women and I’ll be on the receiving end of all sorts of assumptions and critiques that don’t even apply. It’s very rewarding. s/
I exactly know how I feel, and it got 100% worse for me when I became a mom. Trying to parent, work and live your life in this Jayson Tatum Boston Celtics name and number ugly shirt moreover I will buy this system sucks so much. No masculine or feminine smells. I love that point. As a man, I have zero problems with smelling like roses. They smell amazing! I was buying a rose scented shampoo and it made me feel great. Never once did I get a snide comment about it, but I wouldn’t have cared if I did. Yes it’s normal to be angry at sexism and injustice. Everything you said shows you do not live in an egalitarian society I feel frustrated when I have to deal with my physical weakness: bottles are hard to open, a bag of dog food is heavy and I can’t carry it myself, and so on.
It’s not gonna overcome the Jayson Tatum Boston Celtics name and number ugly shirt moreover I will buy this imbalance due to biology that strongly, but constantly lifting heavy things at the gym makes it easier to lift heavy things outside of the gym as well! We are weaker than men on average, but that doesn’t mean you can’t go to the gym or get some weights. When my lazy ass was actually working out, I felt so much more confident and independent. It also sucks knowing men on average will always be stronger than you even if you worked out to their levels too. Like I know I can’t control it but I hate knowing I am limited by evolution and biology out of no control of my own. And I can’t help thinking that maybe this wouldn’t bug me so much if I didn’t have to worry about my safety around most men in our society in the first place. Also I tend to think our bones/joints/ligaments are a hell of a lot more resilient. I’ve done some absolutely ridiculous stunts in my 27 years and pretty much always been fine (except for once, however was a full recovery eventually). Yeah, it’s perfectly normal and it sucks :/ I won’t tell you it gets better because I don’t know if it will for you all I can do is affirm that your feelings aren’t unfounded and offer my support of you ever need to vent) Tysm for your answer, it’s really thoughtful of you! I’ll guess we’ll have to roll with it, like that Oasis song
It’s extremely normal to feel frustrated and even overwhelmed by the Jayson Tatum Boston Celtics name and number ugly shirt moreover I will buy this constant barrage of casual (and not so casual) sexism that is thrown at women every day. Tysm for your answer, I’m very glad to know that this discomfort is valid and not weird or anything. I’m also glad to know that the term “casual sexism” exists. It describes really well this kind of comments and attitudes that I talk about on the post I feel this too, ngl. It’s annoying how often women are treated as some sort of hive mind while men are allowed to be individuals. Like, I’m on a few writing advice subs and I swear every other post is someone (usually men, but sometimes women) stressing about how they don’t know if they can write a convincing character of the opposite gender because they just “can’t understand”. I want to sit them down and just remind them that at the end of the day, men and women have the same basic wants, needs and feelings. We also have wildly different personalities and goals in life that depend on who we are as an individual. It does irk me that so many people, even ones that are trying to be pro-women, treat us like we’re some kind of hivemind when we’re not.
How men get treated isn’t the Jayson Tatum Boston Celtics name and number ugly shirt moreover I will buy this default. Men are treated in ways women aren’t. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s negative. Sometimes it makes things harder, sometimes it makes things easier, sometimes it’s neutral. And it’s 100% ok to wish you weren’t treated a certain way because of your sex, but it’s not in the best interest of your world view to think 1/2 the world lives in special circumstances. Tysm for your answer! I really didn’t want it to seem like all men have it easier. It isn’t because I think men have some kind of social privilege that I want to have. They sometimes do, but as you say, a lot of times they don’t. It’s more like a desire of wanting to be genderless, not being seen in any particular way because of my gender, but because who I really am, so “hey, this would be over if you were a man! comes to my mind sometimes. However, it isn’t true. Sexism is really shitty for both genders You should be seen as a human with thoughts and feelings first. But erasing your gender isn’t going to fix it. Whether you present as male or female or non-binary, people will judge you and make assumptions. They will do it based on the brands you wear, your car, your job, everything. So that’s just life.
Working against stereotypes and showing the Jayson Tatum Boston Celtics name and number ugly shirt moreover I will buy this world a woman can do anything is how we solve the sexism we’ve experienced. Women everywhere have gone through and continue to go through what you are encountering. It gets better as you age and mature. You learn to brush off the BS from sexists, and focus on the people that love you for you. Celebrate your womanhood! I was a girl just like you, there are so many of us! I’m 39, wear dresses only as a bridesmaid, have had multiple buzz-cuts, wear loose jeans and t-shirts 24/7, don’t shave my body, work in a traditionally male-dominated field, and absolutely hate makeup, pink, dolls, etc. You can be a woman and not be Barbie. And it’s 100% ok to wish you weren’t treated a certain way because of your sex, but it’s not in the best interest of your world view to think 1/2 the world lives in special circumstances. It is in everyone’s interest to acknowledge that variously 1/2, 1/4, 1/00 or, just as importantly, 1/10,000 of the world lives in different circumstances, that have a massive impact on their lives.
The problem doesn’t go away if you’re a dude. Men get generalized too. Being a woman is part of your identity. Not the Jayson Tatum Boston Celtics name and number ugly shirt moreover I will buy this main part, but certainly an aspect of it. I’m going to spitball, but think higher educated folks will be more inclined toward egalitarianism. I mention so there might be a chance to work with those who are used to treating women as people. I’m a man and a bit clued out to gender differences in the workplace, but that’s my experience in a white collar environment. I don’t think it’s irrational. You sound perfectly rational to me. You’re frustrated by sexist assumptions – completely reasonable and fair reaction to have. Nothing wrong with anything you’ve said, and I think many, many women agree with you. When I was a kid, I thought men were better at almost everything. I thought books written by men were better, music made by men was better, art by men was better. Male opinions were more correct. That men were better and safer at things like flying a plane. And that men doing things were more “legitimate” somehow. Sanctioned. It made me want to be a boy sometimes. Quite often, actually. Girls were valued for being pretty to look at. I didn’t think I was ugly, but I didn’t particularly like people looking at me, or being interesting solely for what I looked like.
