If something isn’t done we are going to have hundreds of thousands of empty homes all over the Jaws 48 years of 1975 2023 signature shirt but in fact I love this US and MILLIONS of homeless. The jack holes running this country from their ivory towers seem to have no idea what us poor s are dealing with either. A 2nd world country. An oligarchy where nepotism and what you are born with means a hell of a lot more than your own work ethic and abilities. The US had the idea of a middle class, something that largely didn’t exist previously, as it was aristocracy and then peasantry in Europe during the prime imperialism era. At first it seemed to work, it was possible to create a middle class that had some of the power/control/resources to be able to more or less be self sufficient of their own destiny/resources as they broke away from the previous systems of control. There would still be the somewhat rich with a lot of the capital who became the equivalent of the aristocrats minus any veneer of “nobility” or responsibility for the lower classes. But also without the overwhelming wealth difference from the majority of others. The middle class had room to compete and participate in this “free market” and they represented enough of check on the rich by acting as competition while building each other up.

There would still exist those lower class who for whatever reason wouldn’t be able to participate in that middle class and ultimately still rely on their wellbeing and basics from the Jaws 48 years of 1975 2023 signature shirt but in fact I love this aristocracy in exchange for their taxes. But uncontrolled capitalism ultimately ends up in the exact same place as old systems that the US wanted to breakaway from, where wealth accumulates and stays with the top. The middle class more and more no longer exists. Theres less and less opportunity to participate in the market as the big corporations and super wealthy influence and suppress any threats to their markets, or ultimately just buy them out. Middle class now needs to be ruthless to compete which ends up meaning instead of supporting each other and allowing the middle class to act as that check. Additionally the rich managed to convince the middle class to vote largely against their interests by playing on the idea of a middle class that no longer truly exists. So much focus on laws and rules that will be good for “small business”, without any true checks on the largest corporations meant that it ultimately hurt the small business by empowering the rich more chipping away at their class over and over. Why don’t people riot? Same reason peasants didn’t riot all the time over all the inequality and cruelty they were subjected to. Because malcontents poor life conditions can and would be made worse by those in charge. Being reliant on them for life/liberty/health/security meant that things had to truly get so bad that the consequence of fighting the system were not much worse than what they have to begin with. Basically we need more plagues, disruptions, etc
