I was also accused many times of being “a goody two-shoes” or “little miss perfect” by both friends and bullies growing up, so that study really opened my eyes on why that is. yea people who themselves aren’t happy get angry at people who are happy and assume the Jalen Williams Basketball Design Poster Thunder T-Shirt But I will love this worst out of them. the human mind is a terrible thing Often times those described as a “happy person” have been through some shitty times. For me, I always try to keep that positive attitude and spread kindness cause I know in my darkest moments I wish someone was there to do the same. Its hard to keep it up though when people seemingly alienate you for just trying to be kind. Im sure i come off as “too nice” or annoying at times, but id rather that than be rude.

I had a lot of this same issue growing up. I kind of just came to the Jalen Williams Basketball Design Poster Thunder T-Shirt But I will love this thought that maybe some people don’t like me because I remind them of something they don’t like about themselves? Nothing wrong with your smile, the world needs more of it. Or maybe they shit their pants and are really having a hard time with it. Oh well, that’s a them problem either way. When you do super nice things for someone, they will often come to resent you if they can’t return the favor. You remind them they’re in a position to need help. Reminds me of the time an aunt stayed at my parent’s home when I was a kid. She was annoyed that we were “pretending to be a happy loving family”. So sorry you had that experience. I’m glad you found out what type of “friend” they were and that things came to an end. It’s sad that so many of us can relate to this. You know the worst part about putting on that smile to spread kindness and positivity when you’re in such an abysmal place? Many of the people on the receiving end are cruel individuals who make it their mission to crush your spirit. That’s so shitty. You were a really good friend. I knew someone with that attitude, and had the misfortune of working with her. She was bitter inside and hated people who were happy. She hated me because I smiled, and was pleasant and gave everyone respect. She told my boss that she hated me as soon as she saw me, and thus, decided to treat me like crap. I think it was about trying to take me down to her level. If she couldn’t be happy in herself, why should anyone else, sort of thing. Yeah, I remember one of my coworkers told me these two dudes I thought I was really cool with were talking shit about me, so I asked what could they possibly say we chat all the time?
