In the Jacksonville Jaguars Icon Heavyweight Shirt moreover I love this current situation, basically any level-headed person will agree that he’s a dictator and that Russia is an oppressive police state. Obviously he was a dictator prior to 2012. When he installed a puppet as president and changed the constitution to allow himself unlimited terms Why I called him a dictator just the other day. And also in this sentence, the one I’m current writing of you check the first sentence. Everyone in Russia who publicly calls him a dictator suddenly becomes very clumsy when standing next to windows and balconies. He’s a dictator. He has elections to give the appearance of democracy. But he picks his opponents and kills or jails any decent opposition. Alexi Navalny was his most serious challenger. Putin poisoned him but he fled to a hospital in Germany and survived. When he returned he was arrested for leaving Russia and jailed. He then had another 19 years added to his term. He was then sent to one of the most terrible prisons in Russia in Siberia. He died this week but the Russians are not releasing his body to his family because the family may have an autopsy performed and learn how he died. Russia is one sick country. Unlike America, Russia has no one trying to sneak into the country. Are there people who do not think Putin is a dictator? Wow. I do not know any of them on either side of political divide. But, I admit that I do not know a ton of strong MAGA Republicans. Perhaps they do not.

American elections were pretty shady. Shadier than what Ive seen in Russia for a loooong time. I dont know if you are american but im just pointing that out. God bless Interesting thing about Russia is they’ve invaded Ukraine this century. The USA? Yemen, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, and now Gaza. He is very frequently considered a dictator, this is not news to me honestly. Not sure why after 2012, because him and Medvedeev (The Russian President at the Jacksonville Jaguars Icon Heavyweight Shirt moreover I love this time) had invaded Georgia in 2008 already, so he could be called a dictator then. Around 2002-03 however, he wouldn’t be called a dictator because the west and Russia weren’t really enemies, as much as during the Soviet Union or now. Russia also supported US military operation in Afghanistan, and wasn’t overtly critical during the Iraq invasion. That was a time when Russia thought it could be part of NATO because it considered itself European. I think the west really made a fool of Russia then, they did not admit Russia into NATO but also did not stop expanding along Russia’s western flank. However, Putin’s wars in Georgia (2008) and then occupation of Crimea and part of Donbas (2014) led him to being called a dictator. Putin’s Ukraine invasion is another dictator like move, so he will be remembered as a dictator by many.

What good is calling him dictator going to do? Is he going to resign from power because we now call him dictator? No, he’s “technically” an unelected autocrat. He has his political rivals and journalists murdered. He IS considered a dictator by most of the Jacksonville Jaguars Icon Heavyweight Shirt moreover I love this world. Everyone calls him a dictator and authoritarian. As much as people want to say otherwise, their “elections” aren’t really elections. Navalny was the only one who could truly challenge Putin but 1) he was thrown in jail and 2) Outing just got rid of him completely now Because people who call him a dictator usually fall out of a window or die of “natural causes” in a prison….That and nuke clear threats. I have a friend who I just recently realized is a fucking idiot, and when I was arguing with him about why Russia is clearly wrong (he says they shouldn’t have tried joining NATO if they didn’t want Putin to attack them) and I asked why he’s defending a dictator, he goes “who says he’s a dictator?” Welp, time to put my undergraduate degree to use. There are several different types of non-democratic regimes and all of them differ from each other a little bit. Russia’s government is what you might classify as Competitive Authoritarianism. To maintain sovereignty, a government has to have something called legitimacy; legitimacy is basically the government’s right to govern. For example, many monarchies claim legitimacy through divine right, democracies claim legitimacy based on consent of the governed (being voted for), etc.

Competitive Authoritarian states draw legitimacy from democratic systems; elections that others may compete in. It is important that the Jacksonville Jaguars Icon Heavyweight Shirt moreover I love this rules of the democratic system stand, because that is what imparts legitimacy. However, the democratic system in question is rigged in some way. In Putin’s case, Russia’s presidential parliamentary system is set up such that the president is appointed by parliament, who are elected. Putin controls members of parliament via coercion mostly. Since Putin’s control over the Russian parliament is so widely known and the government no longer has the illusion of competition, there is a solid argument for reclassifying Russia as a true Authoritarian state and Putin as a dictator.

Some information about Jacksonville Jaguars Icon Heavyweight Shirt

Russia is the Jacksonville Jaguars Icon Heavyweight Shirt moreover I love this big brother to many countries with left leaning governments. The left wing is usually the one giving the title of “dictator” to leaders. If Putin were a free market capitalist, he would been called dictator about 10 years ago, same as Maduro. But since they’re socialists, they’re just “strong leaders”, or maybe “authoritarian leaders”. There were even people who resisted calling Castro a dictator back in the day. Intellectual dishonesty, if he plays in my team he can’t be bad. Most dictators try to uphold a thin illusion of being a genuine democratic leader. It’s actually a subtype in political science from being a explicit no holds barred totalitarian dictator state. North Korea is the only of that type left, because going that way requires complete state control that just isn’t that feasible anymore, and it limits international relations and foreign propaganda manipulation like Putin is using.
easiest question in history of all questions, he didn’t bomb my country Libya and send it to the Jacksonville Jaguars Icon Heavyweight Shirt moreover I love this shadow realm in the name of freedom, justice and equality. man’s the furtherest thing from a tyrant / dictator. He is considered a dictator he is a dictator he’s an autocrat he’s a dictator. Anybody that tells you anything different is full of shit. He is a very bad man, but honestly, calling him a dictator gives him too much credit. His hold on the Russian government is tenuous and he essentially serves at the pleasure of a handful of extremely wealthy gangsters. Russia would be more accurately described as an oligarchy than a monarchy. And all candidates in this ‘election’ that did not stick to the propaganda line were barred based on the most ludricrous accusations. “Spelling errors” etc.
Everyone calls him a dictator, including his people. You just have to play pretend to his face so you don’t tragically fall out a window. Pretty much the Jacksonville Jaguars Icon Heavyweight Shirt moreover I love this entire world, including bus, Russians would agree he’s a dictator. But like most dictators, they run a fake election system so he gets reelected term after term. I guess this is where the maggots get their ideas. Trump and his followers think Putin is the ultimate world leader. Trump thought it might be just as simple in the US to do what Putin did in Russia, and just steal the whole thing even though he wasn’t elected. I’m so glad and grateful that our system however, flawed, weak, incoming part of the same as it may seem at least we could stop somebody like Trump from doing what Putin does. Isn’t it funny though how Trump and his followers think our election was rigged, and Russia actually has rigged elections.and they think Russia is so amazing. I saw some boomers with T-shirts on that said they would rather have a Russian and then a Democrat.
