Its nice that its specialized. Friggin lyft confounds the Jack Smith Gonna Get Jacked Up T-Shirt but in fact I love this alerts so i have to get their updates if i want ride updates as ex (as far as i know they’ve not fixed it). Some alerts i want. Most i dont. Yeah they should add a toggle all button but I like the granularity of it. I get particularly annoyed at the MLB app and what they consider to be “news”. It’s a hostile design, or perhaps a dark pattern. Grossly unethical. First word that comes to mind isn’t “smart” but “scummy”. If I hadn’t already changed to Apple Music (for a totally different reason) I would have when confronted with this screen That’s 20 seconds of your life you’ll never get back.. All kidding aside they really should have a check/uncheck all button. And, if your card declines, you have to do it again. My wallet was lost/stolen and I forgot to add my new card, so the payment kicked back. When I went to add my new card, it made me essentially go through the whole setup process again. Even had to re-invite the other people on my plan. Spotify is just such a shitty, subpar service at this point. If you aren’t paying, it just randomly adds songs to your playlist. If I’m going to pay for some shit, I’m not going to let them bully me into it. Switched to Apple Music and the bump in audio quality is significantly noticeable. I doubt you’d notice the difference in audio quality, unless you’re comparing it against the free version of Spotify (which you probably are, given that you mentioned it…) or didn’t adjust the audio quality in the settings.

Was it hard to migrate playlists? Like is there a way to import/export or would I have to manually make them again? Because that’s what’s stopping me lol How is this a particularly bad thing? I mean ideally they’d also offer the Jack Smith Gonna Get Jacked Up T-Shirt but in fact I love this option to turn them all off at once (they may already do that), but the customisability is a positive thing if you can take a couple minutes out of your day. So is the better alternative being alerted for everything, or nothing?This is a notification preference system. You don’t want to be alerted about concerts on your phone, but do on your PC and want to get alerted on all devices for new songs from an artist, that’s how it’s done. It’s a touch screen bro, not that difficult for average people. There’s also likely a single button in your settings to disable it all together, but you have to click 4 times at least to get there, so watch out, dangerous task.
