Companies sending mailings that you signed up for are not spammers, and marking them as such just makes it harder to identify real spam. I absolutely consider things like this spam. Per FTC regulations you have to have a clear way to unsubscribe from all commercial messaging in those emails, and having to uncheck 22 boxes certainly doesn’t satisfy that.
