My (female) doctor told me she should slap me for not getting a colonoscopy since my father had colon cancer! I started laughing out loud b/c I couldn’t believe she said that That’s mental abuse isn’t it? 2 days later I had him in for his annual physical and told the It’s weird being the same age as old people Jeff Dunham shirt But I will love this doc about his symptoms and what the urgent care doc had said. Our doctor’s jaw literally dropped and he said, “That… that’s not how this works. He definitely has a concussion. What an idiot.” (Actually he almost said “what an ass” but censored himself since my son was 7) I used steroids for years…Tren, test, ment, orals, you name it; so my test levels were almost non existent (yes, I know, my own fault). Went to the doctor because I knew I was shut down and after months or back and forth they finally gave me labs…turns out I was shut down HARD and will probably never have kids. They’re response – “well you’re low but not THAT low to qualify for TRT.” I was 298, they’re “low” was considered 290….thanks Kaiser. I have severe anxiety. My previous doctor moved and I ran out of Klonopin so I called in to the doctor office to get it refilled. The new doctor refused to refill because he ‘doesn’t like it’. I finally got him to give me a smaller prescription when I reminded him that you aren’t supposed to just stop taking it cold turkey. Ran out like a month ago and have been relying on my sister in law for anti anxiety meds because this asshole doesn’t like them.

A few years back, My daughter had a high fever and diarrhea. She was only a few months old and I was worried about dehydration, so I called the It’s weird being the same age as old people Jeff Dunham shirt But I will love this Pediatrician and she told me to bring her to the ER. The doctor came into the room and immediately started making fun of my husband and I for being paranoid parents and said it wasn’t an emergency. He discharged us with instructions to give her 4 oz of water every couple hours instead of formula. If I didn’t know that water was toxic to young babies then I could have killed her with those instructions. Went to urgent care to get an x-ray of my toe because I was certain it was broken but wanted to understand how badly. Doctor asks why I want an x-ray, they’re going to treat it the same way no matter what (meaning tape it up). I get the x-ray, confirm the toe is broken, and he notes that another previously broken toe had signs of osteoarthritis and beginning of a bone spur that probably could have been avoided if it had been treated differently (other than taping). Mixed messages much? I don’t think he even noticed.
