I pulled into my drive from a long work day and left my car idling so I could get out and open my garage to park. As soon as I closed my door he was right in my face, no mask. He goes “hey can you help us bury our cat?” First ever interaction. Asks me to help bury a dead cat. In a pandemic. Before my car engine is even off. And I am clearly in nice office work clothes. So I smile, say “Hey, nice to meet. Sorry, I can’t help with that, I just got home from work and I have to take care of all my home chores and stuff and relax.” 5 minutes later someone is pounding on my front door. I open it up and it is this It’s never too early to start digging your own grave shirt In addition,I will do this kid again. He says “you were really rude to me and I don’t appreciate it, I only needed a simple neighborly favor and instead of being good neighbors you didn’t help at all.” Ok. “Understandable. But this is our first meeting and you cornered me by my car right when I got off work and then asked me to bury your cat with you. Also Covid is rampant and you’re in my face.”

Then he got weirder and demanded to speak to my wife because I was “being rude”. He kept saying “let me talk to your wife, I know she’s in there”. So I said “listen, my wife doesn’t want to talk to you (she was shaking her head no from the It’s never too early to start digging your own grave shirt In addition,I will do this corner of the room) and if you don’t leave I’ll call the cops and charge you with trespassing”. Dude called me “super white” for saying I would call the cops. I pointed out he was also white and acting like a massive Karen, then said the cops were for his safety because if he didn’t want the cops involved I would resort to stand your ground laws. Sounds like she’s not doing things efficiently or safely. Take toddler in first and set them down to play with something so they aren’t outside skittering around cars. Then do multiple trips from car with the groceries in manageable amounts. r/entitledkarens
