Since you started interrogating those memories, have you heard similar stories from other women? In my 20s, I had a group of really close girlfriends, and most of them had stories of unpleasant or questionable or outright violent experiences as young women—abuse, rape, date rape. I would never share in those conversations. Over time I started to ask why that was, especially seeing how prevalent these stories are. It made me ask myself, Why are you not looking over there? I had done so much in trying to understand traumatic events, why was I avoiding those events? This memoir is really original in subject and structure, but can you tell me about the ITALIA 2021 campioni ITALY Champions jersey soccer T-Shirt and I love this writers who influenced you? When I was starting to think about these pieces I had been writing as something I might put into the world, I read Toni Morrison’s essay “Rootedness: The Ancestor as Foundation,” in which she writes about how Black literature has an oral quality, which resonated with me. A lot of my research focused on the ancient culture of Ashanti storytelling; I wanted to participate in that oral tradition. In Morrison’s writing, there’s often a kind of chorus of community. I was thinking about my ancestors and the history of my ancestors and historical figures as that chorus. She also says in this essay that these ancestors are not just parents; they’re timeless people whose relationships to different characters are sometimes benevolent—they’re protective, they have a certain wisdom—but not always. They’re not perfect. That kind of complication is what I wanted to include in my writing. And I wanted to implicate myself as much, if not more.

Pleased with the quality of the t shirt, however the design printed on it did not stand out as much as it did on the online mock up, the colour of the logo was too pale

Bought it for a friend of mine who is very picky about fabrics, but this turned out to be very soft and good quality, she was very happy with it 🙂

I’ve placed 2 orders on this website so far and I’m amazed. Came very very quick and the quality was outstanding. Will continue to order and have shared to family and friends.

I found the design studio easy to use, although knowing exactly where the design would appear on the garment is a little hit and miss as it is a static image. Perhaps a “Put logo in centre of shirt” or other standard locations could be added? Products were despatched promptly and were of good print quality. Considering the current situation I was very impressed by Streetshirts service and will be using them for our printed merchandise on our website

This felt too good to be true for the price and speed they supposedly came. But sure enough just a day and a half later I had my own printed designs on two t shirts for a very reasonable cost. Thank you very much! Will be using again in the future 🙂
