This is really good advice! Everything can feel like it’s a priority and an emergency, especially if you’re experiencing PPA. Once you can untangle the mess of priorities in your head, get them down and communicated together and have a joint action plan you both agree on, it goes a lot smoother. We have to check in all the time on how burnt out we are too. On those days when someone is at their limit, the other one needs to step up and ask what the other’s priorities are.

Yes! My list of priorities and my husbands are so different so we are constantly having to talk through it and reset from time to time to realign.
