Maybe not the Iron Maiden Piece of Mind Gold Eddie Navy Shirt In addition,I will do this best example, because not being interested in the love of a child certainly does NOT mean they hate love, or can’t love. But it’s not really about the love your child has for you, it’s the love you feel for your child. And people are essentially saying that on the spectrum of loving feelings, the love for your own child is all the way up there. It’s love at maximum volume. I’ve loved and love parents, grandparents, siblings, romantic partners, animals, etc. And they’re all slightly different, but powerful and beautiful feelings in their own way, some are more intense than others without being ‘better’ or ‘worse’. But then there’s the love for your child and it just blasts you in the heart and pours into every nook and cranny of your soul until you feel like there’s nowhere to put it anymore. And suddenly you realise you didn’t really know how deep love can actually go. Most childless people’s knee jerk reaction is to feel that people who are gushing about it are trying to invalidate other types of love, or are saying it’s ‘better’ than theirs – and I totally get how it can come across like that – but it’s actually the polar opposite. Parental love is so complete and total that it spills over into everything. It makes you go from respecting love to revering it.

A better analogy would be sunshine. A dim ray of winter sunlight shining through the Iron Maiden Piece of Mind Gold Eddie Navy Shirt In addition,I will do this trees and onto your face can be incredibly soothing, and all you need in contrast with winter’s dreariness, but it’s nothing compared to the intensity of basking in the warm sunshine on that first spring day. Is it better or does it diminish that sliver of winter sun in any way? No, if anything it makes you appreciate it even more, because it’s that same thing. I said this better in an earlier comment but as someone who was childfree into my 30s, didn’t even want them until my 30s, this deep life changing love we all experience as parents is also SO heavy and we have to carry it around every day forever. It’s joyful of course but it’s also equally terrifying. In some ways I feel like I’ll never know peace again. Is it worth it? For most of us, but it’s also worth noting and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with not wanting to have that kind of love.
