The fact that so many people brought guns, legally or illegally, to what was supposed to be a celebration with families bringing kids is something to think about. Mays told detectives “he hesitated shooting because he knew there were kids there,” according to the Indiana Fever 2025 WNBA All-Star Game The Road Cropped shirt Also,I will get this affidavit. He told investigators he began firing after someone in the other group said, “I’m going to get you,” which he took to mean they would try to kill him. He said he chose a random person from the other group to shoot at as that person was running away, the affidavit says. Also literally admitting to murder. Picking the one person who for sure cannot support the self defense argument. The argument began when two groups of people grew agitated over the belief that people in the other group were staring at them … He said he chose a random person from the other group to shoot at
Indiana Fever 2025 WNBA All-Star Game The Road Cropped shirt details
The argument began when two groups of people grew agitated over the Indiana Fever 2025 WNBA All-Star Game The Road Cropped shirt Also,I will get this belief that people in the other group were staring at them “The argument began when two groups of people grew agitated over the belief that people in the other group were staring at them, according to affidavits from police. Surveillance video shows Mays and someone with him aggressively approached the other group, police say.” Both. The 2 teens were caught at the parade and charged with firearms related crimes. After investigation, they later charged 2 adults with murder. Everyone was wondering why the teens were only charged with gun related crimes. This is why. Were the crimes completely unrelated? I remember reading that the teens arrested were several blocks away from the actual shooting
We don’t know the Indiana Fever 2025 WNBA All-Star Game The Road Cropped shirt Also,I will get this full story yet. The article states that more charges are possible for the juveniles so there may be a connection, but that is still speculation at this point. Both. The juveniles were arrested at the scene. The adults seem to have been shot and were in the hospital when arrested. Aren’t they missing the other twelve counts of attempted murder? They need a good fifty years. Not the 7 they’re about to get. 3 with good behavior. I am reminded of the Vegas shooting where they found a shitload of guns abandoned as people fled knowing they would likely get shot being seen with a gun during a shooting. The argument began when two groups of people grew agitated over the belief that people in the other group were staring at them, according to affidavits from police. “That led Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas to wonder whether it’s time to rethink championship celebrations, even as he promised last week that the city will continue to celebrate its victories.” Just to emphasize what RedPython said, the lack of control KC has in it’s own safety is a huge problem. Republican state reps are forcing us to spend 25% of our city budget for a police force where 911 sends you to voicemail. KC itself is blue-to-purple but there are literally lives being lost because of MO state representatives forcing shitty laws nonstop. The reps have also ignored voter passed laws in the past in one way or another. The remote police control is mostly uniquely KC but the crippling of city self governance by state reps is happening in every red state now

“They were among several people arguing when Mays “pulled his handgun first almost immediately” and several others did the Indiana Fever 2025 WNBA All-Star Game The Road Cropped shirt Also,I will get this same, Peters Baker said. Police say it was Miller’s gun that fired the shot that killed a woman.” “The argument began when two groups of people grew agitated over the belief that people in the other group were staring at them” It’s sad to read mayors and other leaders have to consider cancelling these types of celebrations because of the violence. It seems all large events will be scrutinized. Its inevitable given our gun culture. We refuse to fix the problem so it steadily gets worse. Expect performers to start canceling shows because they don’t want to play to an armed crowd.
Let them know that when they hear that door close behind them that it will be the Indiana Fever 2025 WNBA All-Star Game The Road Cropped shirt Also,I will get this very last time that they breathe air that doesn’t taste of prison laundry. In a hospital interview two days after the shooting, he said he was armed with a Taurus G3 9mm handgun and said he returned fire after he saw someone shooting at him, according to the statement. A .38-caliber class bullet was recovered during an autopsy of Lopez-Galvan, and a ballistic comparison of the bullet determined it was fired from the Taurus weapon, according to the statement. 9mm and .380 auto are basically the same diameter, .380 is just a shorter cartridge. You could run a .380 in a 9mm but it likely wouldn’t have enough power to overcome the recoil spring and cycle again.
But that’s why the Indiana Fever 2025 WNBA All-Star Game The Road Cropped shirt Also,I will get this article is saying a “.38-caliber class”bullet. Because both 9mm and .380 fall into that classification Not usually, but there might be a modification that allows it. It’s more likely that whoever wrote the article said .38 because it’s technically the same caliber even though it’s not the same cartridge. Great example where guns just escalate things into a bunch of people getting killed. Great idea to carry to the parade…fucking idiots. You can bet your bottom dollar they are not white men. If they were their mug shot would be plastered over every news broadcast across the country. Nope, the police and media are gonna drag it out until you all forget all about it. It’s kinda crazy but I agree with you (and begrudgingly Anne Colter) that there is this weird media scramble to name white shooters and withhold race otherwise. That said, I think the fix isn’t saying their race every time but instead never bringing up race unless it has direct relevance to the story. Whatever happened to sternly crying out: “Begone, You silly sausage!!!” during a public dispute? It’s always served me well as a first recourse when somebody inadvertently bumps into me in a busy thoroughfare or pushes his shopping trolley where I was going to push mine. Of course if that fails to elicit the response I expect, I will then, and only then, shoot the ruddy pantaloon in the face. Wonder why the media hasn’t kept this story on 24/7. Yuh didn’t even see it on tv the following day. Still haven’t seen pics of the shooters. Wonder why the story isn’t the top story any more. Media sure dropped it fast. Wonder why Gun nuts argue that the way to stop mass shootings is for everyone to be armed. This celebration included 800+ armed police. They couldn’t stop it.
“The men did not know each other before the Indiana Fever 2025 WNBA All-Star Game The Road Cropped shirt Also,I will get this shooting, according to prosecutors. They were among several people arguing when Mays “pulled his handgun first almost immediately” and several others did the same” It’s possible that some of those “several others” weren’t involved in the initial event that led to this and only drew their weapons in response to a dude shooting. We’ll have to wait for the full picture, however i mean the way i’m reading this, one possibility is that there were literally so many people in a confined space standing around with guns on their person that as soon as one person drew, several others did as well. which would be an almost comically dystopian scenario, but is sadly exactly where things have been headed for a while in this country. this is what happens when everyone thinks they are a “good guy with a gun,” and the government indulges them. The irony is palpable. It’s almost like it’s reasonable for there to be limitations on who carries firearms and where.
Armed because they are afraid someone might hurt them. The ones who are hurting them are the Indiana Fever 2025 WNBA All-Star Game The Road Cropped shirt Also,I will get this other nuts with guns. The guy they tackled in the video did not wear the same clothes as the juveniles arrested. I don’t even think the events are related. Someone mentioned days ago that the juveniles were arrested four blocks away from the actual shooting. Yeah they fucked up. If everyone started firing at the same time the resulting bullet storm would have stopped ALL CRIME in it’s tracks. More guns= more bullet storms= more safety. Even better, Missouri state legislators, of which republicans have a supermajority, have already been saying they don’t believe any laws will fix this, and that any laws restricting gun access is infringing on the rights of responsible gun owners.
I thought when this happened wow can’t even have sports celebrations for the Indiana Fever 2025 WNBA All-Star Game The Road Cropped shirt Also,I will get this whole fucking city be safe now….then I read it happened for NBA in Denver already?!?!? Good god What happened to the BS story that they didn’t release pictures or names or describe the perpetrators bc of them being underage?? Now some of them are adults (which we already knew from pictures of who was arrested) and they still aren’t releasing descriptions instead of just “male”. They are trying to sweep this under the rug. Fuck the media The argument began when two groups of people grew agitated over the belief that people in the other group were staring at them, according to affidavits from police. The men did not know each other before the shooting, according to prosecutors. They were among several people arguing when Mays “pulled his handgun first almost immediately” and several others did the same…
“I’m going to get you,” which he took to mean they would try to kill him. He said he chose a random person from the Indiana Fever 2025 WNBA All-Star Game The Road Cropped shirt Also,I will get this other group to shoot at as that person was running away, the affidavit says. Jefferson City has decided that making it illegal to carry a pistol within a mile of a parade will keep our local gang members from doing so. From the CNN article “In a hospital interview two days after the shooting, he said he was armed with a Taurus G3 9mm handgun and said he returned fire after he saw someone shooting at him, according to the statement. A .38-caliber class bullet was recovered during an autopsy of Lopez-Galvan, and a ballistic comparison of the bullet determined it was fired from the Taurus weapon, according to the statement.”
Note the Indiana Fever 2025 WNBA All-Star Game The Road Cropped shirt Also,I will get this article mentions the other suspect had a Glock 9mm. Either CNN made a mistake or something doesn’t line up…you can’t fire .38 caliber from a Taurus G3 9mm (unless this bozo somehow reloaded his own 9mm shells with .38 bullets). Looking at their product page, they don’t even make a .38 Taurus G3. My mistake, read too fast and didn’t realize they actually wrote “A .38-caliber class” keyword class. Odd wording considering both handguns being specified as 9mm but still. No. You’re just not understanding how bullet calibers work. 9mm and .380 are basically the same diameter, but .380 is a shorter cartridge. Same goes for .357 and 38 special. They’re all very close in diameter. Oh! see I know that but I didn’t catch on the word “class” I guess I read too fast. I just read it as “a .38 caliber bullet” and as a classic redditor does, ran to the comments.
No worries. It is a weirdly worded way to say “a bullet matching the Indiana Fever 2025 WNBA All-Star Game The Road Cropped shirt Also,I will get this caliber of the suspect’s weapon was recovered “ So it was just 2 idiots with EASILY ACCESSIBLE GUNS. Totally unforseeble. And that’s both literal and figurative. The article doesn’t mention if the guns were legal or not, but at this point, it doesn’t matter. There’s too many guns. We need to regulate the gun industry and start restriction the amounts of guns manufactured, for all markets. It’s the only way. So tired of existing in this stupid fucking country. Can’t even go to the gym without imagining the whole place getting shot up every time. Can’t even imagine putting a child in school here. Kind of puts the lie to the “good guys with guns” theory. In effect one guy pulls a gun resulting in others pulling theirs and mayhem ensues. Fuck concealed carry laws!
Don’t forget there were literally hundreds of “good guys with guns” at Uvalde and they didn’t do shit to stop the Indiana Fever 2025 WNBA All-Star Game The Road Cropped shirt Also,I will get this bad guy. This has always been the point of contention with the whole “good guy with a gun” perfect scenario baby babble. If everyone has a gun, who the fuck is the “good guy with a gun” anyway? Because the guys who shot a bunch of people can say they were just defending themselves. I know of a case where a family member assaulted someone who killed two of his friends in response, in the moment. And that guy went to trial and the jury was like, Hey… he had a right to defend himself. I understand turning a new leaf and addressing the world that they won’t show photos or give attention to shooters. But idk if that’s the case. Our little aviation club just spent $11,000 for an 18 year old to earn a private pilot’s certificate. He’s got 45 hours of instruction and practice and had to pass a written test. That’s just to fly a light airplane that on a scale of injury and death isn’t going to even register in comparison to gun violence. In my opinion, people ought have to complete the equivalent to have access to firearms.
Flying an airplane isn’t a civil right, and it’s depressing watching folks like yourself chomping at the Indiana Fever 2025 WNBA All-Star Game The Road Cropped shirt Also,I will get this bit to price the poor out of their civil right. Just another day in gun loving America. So two guys who don’t know each other have a dust up and one pulls out his gun and fires it, so the other one along with the teenagers all get theirs out and someone gets killed. I am afraid of going anywhere anymore for fear of some jackholes getting macho with each other and me paying for their temper tantrums. Lyndell Mays, of Raytown, and Dominic M. Miller, of Kansas City, were both charged with second-degree murder, unlawful use of a weapon and two counts of armed criminal action, the prosecutor’s office said. They are being held on $1 million bond. According to the investigation, Mays was in a verbal argument with another person that escalated, and Mays then drew a handgun. Almost immediately, Miller and others pulled their firearms, leading to the shootout, Baker said. The two did not know each other before that day, Baker added.
this is a fiasco for the Indiana Fever 2025 WNBA All-Star Game The Road Cropped shirt Also,I will get this NRA.. it defies their narrative of being armed in public being a good idea to save lives. An argument quickly turned into someone pulling out a gun which escalated into multiple people pulling out guns and various shootings. Everyone that drew a gun should be charged.. regardless of who actually pulled their trigger to kill the bystander. What a preventable mess Nah, NRA just gonna keep on trucking and pretend it never happened, like when Philando Castille was killed for legally carrying or when Abbot pardoned that guy in Texas who killed a lawful gun holder (and vet!) because he claimed he felt threatened. The NRA doesn’t give a fuck about gun rights, they only care about gun sales. They want everyone to buy 20 guns and have a closet full of ammo. It’s not enough to own a gun for home protection, you also need one for hunting, and another for the shooting range, and another to give your kid, and another fo going to the parade, and the bank, and the park, and another in case that black kid that gave you that funny look that one time ever wants to mess with you.
Missouri just passed a law on Monday banning celebratory gun shots! Monday of this year! Get you shit together America. I know there were only 800 armed cops in the Indiana Fever 2025 WNBA All-Star Game The Road Cropped shirt Also,I will get this area but if there were more good guys with guns this never would’ve happened Ah, so it wasn’t the two juveniles that conservatives were plastering all over social media because they felt they were getting “special treatment” due to being black. There were more than 2 people that brandished guns. The teens were the 2 they initially caught at the parade. The teens likely have the names of the 2 that are being charged. Also, the second two are currently in the hospital, so police may have identified as the shooters from any video of the shooting. If only one other armed good samaritan were there, then…we could have had three groups of armed morons shooting at each other instead of two.
I agree, although whilst it’s reasonable to have crumpets at dinner time, one should never have crumpets for dinner. She has spent her entire life thinking of crumpets as a toast alternative for meals like beans on toast, or cheese on toast. She’ll eat poached eggs on crumpets before she’ll eat them with jam. If she thinks crumpets are a toast alternative and crumpets aren’t breakfast food does she think toast isn’t breakfast food? Ok I’m with her there. I usually only have them with butter because another topping over butter is basically a waste of butter, but add an egg yoke… Grilled cheese crumpers, sausage, scrambled egg and mushrooms is a PERFECTLY acceptable tea. (I’m Northern, dinner is at lunchtime). Toasted until crisp, topped with sprats and cheese, under the Indiana Fever 2025 WNBA All-Star Game The Road Cropped shirt Also,I will get this grill until bubbling. That is dinner time right there. My mum used to do this in the eighties, but with cheese, sliced tomato and anchovies. Sort of like a mini pizza crumpet. Crumpets freeze well though so they can be eaten well after their use by date if you just get them out the freezer as and when you want one.
However, they are a traditional tea time/evening menu item, hence the Indiana Fever 2025 WNBA All-Star Game The Road Cropped shirt Also,I will get this idea of “home in time for tea and crumpets.” Think of CS Lewis, John Masefield, and Edwardian schoolboy japery. They’re an anytime food but growing up we always had them for Sunday tea toasted on an open fire ( wonder if you can still buy toasting forks?) However, I have made crumpet pizzas and marmite and toasted cheese crumpets are also delicious – excellent for lunch. Some of my family have crumpets with jam which you could have for breakfast I guess. If you were fancy you had Mr Matey bubble bath which stripped every bit of moisture from your body, the bottle was nice though! Breakfast or with a coffee for a snack. I only have them with butter though and I toast them twice, they need to be slightly crisp, if they’re not toasted enough they’re insipid and rubbery and I hate them
