A father can sympathise but pregnancy is body-horror, not just fun. It’s not a fun thing that a couple do together, it’s a physically demanding, dangerous thing that a mother appreciates support in getting through. It’s beautiful and magical, but it’s life or death serious and not something just for fun or entertainment. I see it as an another way of saying “we’re expecting” or “we’re having a baby”. So, I don’t see it as a big deal if someone says it. If a male says we are pregnant, I assume he’s stupid and doesn’t know that men can’t get pregnant?
