I personally have the I’m Sorry Did I Roll My Eyes Out Loud Cat shirt Additionally,I will love this boomer mindset to where if I have to use self checkout and not getting any discount / getting paid for using it (on the clock), I’ll hit 1 star. I’d rather not do someone’s work for free if it benefits nobody. Most customers I see are slower than the standard cashiers, Walmart certainly makes no attempt at lowering prices because of the reduced labor costs of passing the labor onto the customers. The main thing the stars do is affect management’s bonuses. I’d rather hurt their bonus if it means I gotta do the company’s work for free. And I remember a good friend of mine telling me a story of how some associate tried to accuse him of stealing while using self check out. Every time he has to use SCO at that specific store, its always 1 star and every other store is 3 stars. I tell him (and all of my friends) to always go to a manned register when possible because its harder to be accused of shoplifting if somebody else scans everything you are buying. I’m sure he put a 1 star cause the machine was giving them issues with their cards, customer did right in that aspect. They need to get that fixed it’s such an inconvenience, because most people use card only these days. Him asking you to spot him was a bit far tho, but your title for this form is probably not a true reason to why he gave a 1 star

Wait, people actually press those stars?? Honestly can’t say anyone in our store does, lol. I’ll have to try that next time I grab my stuff after my shift. Not a Walmart employee, but I’ve been asked countless times to pay by customers and honestly it’s stunning. Like really? And they keep adding a new screen every 5 minutes (This is even more true when there’s a donation going on that takes them longer). The people who had someone go out of their way to help will rate 5 stars. Everyone else will say no thanks or say 1 star just to hurry it along for their receipt. I’m not gonna push stars for someone else’s paycheck. I always ask for a printed copy of the policy or access to the official policy before I can follow it. Otherwise, i follow company policy. Document all conversations with anyone regarding this and contact corporate and the ethics/hr departments if something happens with full details. Never contact one person, contact multiple and in different positions. It will ensure you are taken seriously.
