I got a little bit more into fashion a few years back because I occasionally needed something to wear for a wedding, fundraiser, dinner, etc. I kind of geeked out about finding cool and interesting dresses to wear and it’s almost become a bit of a hobby for me. During the pandemic, that kind of came to a halt, but things are picking up again. I wore this dress last week and it was definitely out of my comfort zone, but I’m glad I tried it. For reference, I’m 5’8″ and 145ish pounds. I have a fairly muscular build for a woman and historically I have worn more structured and/or form fitting dresses because I felt that flowy outfits tended to make me just look and feel awkwardly big. But I’m glad I gave this one a shot because I really love how it looks.

I love that you got more into fashion for occasion wear haha, I’ve never heard of Sau Lee but you’re right, the dress gorgeous and it really compliments you! Thank you so much! And yeah, I guess I just fell in love with finding fun, different gowns and coming up with ideas for hair, makeup, and accessories to complete the ensemble. It’s a neat little hobby, but most of the time I wear jeans or workout attire ? Thank you! Prior to dinner, it was also one of the comfiest gowns I’ve ever worn. After dinner, well, it was a bit tight in the waist ?
