I gave out resumes and my mom got a call back from the movie theatres saying I had an interview for Friday. I show up and they said it was on Wednesday and they’ve now hired someone for it lol. In this case it was my mom who got the dates wrong lol if this is real – i don’t get why you wouldn’t immediately accept the offer if you “really wanted this job.” not like you couldn’t back out after accepting if something did come up and made you change your mind. hell you could even keep job hunting until your start date I think you dodged a bullet. If that’s how they run the show where nothing is their fault and blame it on the system etc etc… wait till they blame you for everything as a new hire. I honestly can’t believe how one-sided these comments are. I think getting 5 days is a very generous amount of time. I am employing people and if they would not have made up their minds in 5 days, I would see that as a major red flag towards their interest in the position and the company.

You dont even bother to open the acceptance letter and read it, you waste their time, your hiring manager starts doubting you from the get go… and now you are basically begging them for the job.
