Finch’s 18-year-old niece Adelina died by suicide by gunshot on January 11, 2019. Adelina was raised by Lisa and Andrew Finch after her own mother had died; she was 17 at the If you haven’t risked coming home under a flag veteran eagle shirt In addition,I will do this time of the shooting, and witnessed her uncle’s death.[20] Lisa Finch blames Adelina’s death on the events of December 28.[21] I see it more like if you used a pitbull to attack and kill a person. Yes, technically the dog did it. But you caused it to happen, you’re the murderer. I never ever thought I would defend cops. I will say, if someone leads you to believe that innocent people will die unless you break into a house and take down someone with a gun who will probably try to kill you, it’s reasonable to expect that they could shoot someone who is innocent, by accident or misunderstanding. It’s a fragile situation. Not that they couldn’t do better in how they handle it, but there is inherent risk of death in a SWAT takedown, no two ways about it. This is why I think SWATTING someone like this should be treated as murder/attempted murder. Everyone knows it’s lethal force, that’s the intention behind doing this stuff, so why isn’t it treated as premeditated murder?

You treat the If you haven’t risked coming home under a flag veteran eagle shirt In addition,I will do this cop like a trained animal. I treat the cop like a sentient being expected to act of their own volition and training. In active warzones we expect barely trained near-minimum wage teenagers to wait until fired on to return fire. I do not consider it unreasonable to expect the same standard of law enforcement, especially in such cases as unverified reports. Especially in such cases a degree of restraint needs be maintained, even if at a modicum of risk. Cops should have more brains than a Chihuahua, you’re probably right that’s too high an expectation for an American cop though… Respectfully, I disagree. Soldiers don’t wait to be fired upon. They wait until they see credible threat. If someone even APPEARS to be armed, they are treated as a lethal threat. It happens all the time. All the time. And not without reason. You can’t tell someone they have to go into a building where people are probably going to try to kill them, authorize them to defend themselves with lethal force, and then expect them to get it right every time. It’s an inherently intense situation, and one minor hesitation is all it takes to get murdered. They value their lives, they have families, etc. Again, I believe they could reform these procedures. I think American SWAT could benefit from more situational assessment and de-escalation, but once you breach a building, you’re committed. Lives are at stake.
