Kids are NOT a glamorous, being parents will NOT fill your life with constant joy 24/7. It’s exhausting mentally and physically. And people with no kids just compare their easy-going lives with the I would rather stand with god by the world judged by god horse shirt But I will love this stress of having kids. But no one can explain the happiness you feel when your kids tells you that you’re the most important thing in the world for him, and how the perspective of death and live just flips upside down once you have kids. And my kids’ aunt is child free at 42 and she spoils my kids rotten with her love and attention. It’s nice that they have one aunt who gets to just focus on herself and being an awesome auntie (not to mention she makes a great travel partner for my wife when she needs to get away for a minute!). Happily married and zero regrets, but have also known my whole adult life that I didn’t want kids. If you truly don’t want children you won’t regret it, if there is a part of you still unsure if you do or not don’t ignore that.
