Between genetics, finances, and familial situations, there are plenty of factors that should dissuade people from having kids, and don’t even get me started on * gestures vaguely around * all of this going on in the world. There are many reasons why having kids is extremely selfish, but humans are kinda sorta hardwired as animals to procreate. It’s literally our #1 biological goal.
