You aren’t wrong. It’s pretty much, ‘they are dying, sure. But how are they dying?’ This way you can keep them alive for a while… I find patients mostly appreciate being kept alive. Although I think the flu thing is actually a bigger deal. I don’t think people are not taking someone really in shock seriously because it is used differently elsewhere. But with the flu, I think they are. There are people who really get the flu and think, no big deal, it is just the flu and happily spread it all over… and real people can die. Same with people saying COVID is just like a bad flu… the flu is a serious thing! People die from it all the time.
