NOT A LAWYER but you might want to contact an employment lawyer about this. From the I Must Be A Constipated Virgin Beaver The Way I Don’t Give A Shit Fuck Or Damn Shirt Shirt and by the same token and little bit I know you might have a case. Hopefully one of your other options comes through but this is an unfortunate lesson. Sometimes it’s better to take the guarantee than to wait holding out for something better. You always have the option to quit should something better come along. I agree this situation is silly and they should be happy you are interested in moving forward, but since you wanted the job why didn’t you read the letter immediately and negotiate or accept? Why did you wait at all? There is no way this is true on their side. They fucked something up and made an excuse. Possible an internal hire who showed interest or a exec wanting to give the job to someone they know. In a reasonable world, they would have just called you about this and checked what’s up and everything would have been fine.
I Must Be A Constipated Virgin Beaver The Way I Don’t Give A Shit Fuck Or Damn Shirt Shirt, hoodie, hoodie and long sleeve tee
“You didn’t jump through our hoops that we didn’t show you. You’re the I Must Be A Constipated Virgin Beaver The Way I Don’t Give A Shit Fuck Or Damn Shirt Shirt and by the same token and problem and we’re moving on to the next candidate”. If they will frivolously toss away a candidate they chose to accept over something like this then you don’t want to work there. So gross. You don’t wanna work for a company that reacts this way over their own fuck up. You’ll be happier elsewhere, even if you think you really wanted that job. You did not want that company nor their HR team. This reminds me of the time I had a contract for a job I’d accepted come through the post with the wrong name on it. I didn’t end up starting there in the end. It wasn’t even like a simple spelling mistake, it was flat out a completely different name.
Not everyone had off Monday. So if the I Must Be A Constipated Virgin Beaver The Way I Don’t Give A Shit Fuck Or Damn Shirt Shirt and by the same token and company is open, is it still considered a business day? Also, there is 2 days left. If you really wanted the job why the hesitation. Did you not open the offer letter at all? Yeah it sucks that the email said the 23rd but again why sit on it? If you really wanted this job and “can’t really afford to not get this job” then why didn’t you accept your offer the same day you received it? In such situations either pick the worst case scenario (ie : the date that is earliest) or ask them for clarification the moment you get it. I read a bunch of your replies to comments below, and it’ll probably save you some trouble replying to update your original post with additional details like how crazy hr just doubled down on their mistake. If you really wanted the job you should have looked at the offer right away. Sure there’s a typo in the email but if you opened the offer you would have seen the discrepancy. I just received an offer for a job I really wanted on Thursday, so I read the offer and accepted it, on Thursday. You have to accept some of the blame here, due diligence is everyone’s business. The way they’re trying to blame you for being tok slow while presented with evidence, and making excuses, would make me question wanting to work for them Just being honest here. You sit on a job offer for a “job you really want” for 5 days? We’re you communicating with them in that time or just now response for 5 days? Then that’s on you, even with the miscommunication.

This happened to me once and all I had to do was contact HR and they rectified it. However, I realized that this is a red flag and ended up not accepting the I Must Be A Constipated Virgin Beaver The Way I Don’t Give A Shit Fuck Or Damn Shirt Shirt and by the same token and offer. Unless this is some kind of spectacular offer for you, I would consider it a bullet dodged. Thats fuckin CRAZYYY bro. Fuck that. You dodged a bullet. What kinda response is that from the company? Fuck them Personally, if I were looking for employment and got a job offer I intended to accept, I would make them wait on my reply. Starts off on a bad note and plus I would want them to think I’m some self important a hole… You don’t want to work for a company like that. You might think so at first, but just imagine all of the other issues/discrepancies that will take place in the future if this one is right out the gate, along with their inability to hold themselves accountable for their error. They couldn’t even take the time to write you a personalized accurate email, a system generated email shows you are just a position to be filled and they proved that by not selecting you in the end.
Yeah you wouldn’t want to work at a place that would be so willing to fuck you over their own mistakes because they can’t get their shit together or accept fault. You dodged a bullet. You dodged a bullet there! If they’re going to pull this crap before you even start, just imagine the I Must Be A Constipated Virgin Beaver The Way I Don’t Give A Shit Fuck Or Damn Shirt Shirt and by the same token and hell they’ll put you through working there. “If you have any questions regarding your offer, please contact me with any questions you may have” is an absolute abomination of a sentence Consider this a bullet dodged since they were in no way understanding and couldn’t simply take responsibility or offer any remedy for their mistake. Would you really want to work for someone who doubles down and says you fucked up whenever you point out a mistake they made?
Their attitude to their mistake in the I Must Be A Constipated Virgin Beaver The Way I Don’t Give A Shit Fuck Or Damn Shirt Shirt and by the same token and text messages tells you that they will suck to work for, you dodged a bullet. I think companies often forget that they are also being interviewed during the process. Take this as a blessing Probably a good thing with this company, TBH- no accountability for an error that they do have control over (IT ticket, etc.) especially if impacting potential employers hiring and onboarding. Disorganization right from the start. They did you a favor, I know it doesn’t feel like one but whatever company that is, is so full of bullshit they can’t see straight. You don’t even have to click “go to offer letter until the 23rd” according to that email, so it doesn’t matter what the date listed in the offer letter is if there’s nothing forcing you to look at it until after it expires. HR here – this is an error on THEIR part and its crazy they didnt give you any type of grace and just doubled down! Everyone makes mistakes and they should have owned it even if it was an error with the system. I hope this reaches the top of the post to answer some questions, I know I haven’t gotten to alot of people because it been a busy day for me. 1: The reason why I waited so long is because I had much higher paying opportunities I was waiting to hear back from and didn’t want to be black listed from alot of companies that fall under this company’s umbrella by saying yes then quitting before I started. On Monday I texted the same guy that I was still looking over the job offer and he never mentioned it would expire the next day. I also actually opened up the offer day I received it and didn’t see a date of expiration, the only date I saw was my start date.
2: I went in person to talk after emailing the I Must Be A Constipated Virgin Beaver The Way I Don’t Give A Shit Fuck Or Damn Shirt Shirt and by the same token and supervisor that I would be working for about the situation. HR came out and doubled down and the supervisor emailed me back agreeing with HR. 3: No this isn’t Amazon or another big brand, the reason I don’t want to say what company this is because I have friends in low positions at this company and HR and the supervisor are most likely aware of them. Go over their head/behind their back and message the manager directly, explain the mistake and say you’d be delighted to accept and could they please speak to HR for you I hope this reaches the top of the post to answer some questions, I know I haven’t gotten to alot of people because it been a busy day for me.

Why wait to sign if you “really” wanted the job? How long does it take to review a simple job offer? Was their relocation or something involved? It doesn’t make sense to wait more than a day or two max to sign and return if you knew you wanted to accept from the start…. Apparently I’m confused… 5 days ago was last Friday & the 23rd is this Friday. Seems like 5 business days to me, and you still seem to have 2 days to accept. Where’s the problem? 5 days? i have negotiated for over 5 weeks. 5 days is not enough time to even fly out to another interview and have them send a competing offer, even if you do these back to back.
Words of advise for anyone: always, I mean always, send an email acknowledgment around an important decision you are reviewing. Unfortunately, it’s not common for people to do this as people often reply at the I Must Be A Constipated Virgin Beaver The Way I Don’t Give A Shit Fuck Or Damn Shirt Shirt and by the same token and time they’re making a decision. A simple: “Thanks, I’ll review and let you know by [date]”. That would have cleared any confusion upfront. While the company is clearly being difficult, the OP appears to have fallen short on communication, too. Buttt if you really need and want this job, I’d communicate to someone outside of hr/recruiting. Who all did you interview with? Was your *new manager part of the interview process, did you two meet? If so it might help to reach out to who would have been your manager. 105 more repliesHonest question for those pushing for a ceasefire. How do you have a ceasefire with a group that has never honored previous ceasefires and vows to keep attacking until you’re removed?
Yeah people being bombed don’t like being bombed, and their children being accused of being “human shields”, whoda thunk… Ita good question but should we not question how powerful the I Must Be A Constipated Virgin Beaver The Way I Don’t Give A Shit Fuck Or Damn Shirt Shirt and by the same token and Israeli propaganda is to make you believe that it is ONLY them who don’t honour a ceasefire? IDF is known to instigate and poke and make lives difficult, just like like last year the issue if Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood, or the constant violence of settlers backed by the IDf, or the kidnappings without charges… But to go back to the original question here is a brief history of the times IDF has broken ceasefire, but guess what? The western political powers did not care… because well its Israel… Just as in 2006, when Hamas only struck after IDF shelling: Indiscriminate Fire | Palestinian Rocket Attacks on Israel and Israeli Artillery Shelling in the Gaza Strip Or August 2018, when Hamas responded to IDF tank fire. Israeli army lifts restrictions on Gaza border communities after quiet night Or November 2018, when an armed incursion by the IDF left 7 dead and Hamas responded: Israeli targeted killings in Gaza and beyond: A timeline Or May 2019, when Gaza responded to the IDF killing 4 and wounding 82: Wounded one Friday and killed the next — Palestinian youth is shot far from Gaza fence
In 2008, again, Israel broke the I Must Be A Constipated Virgin Beaver The Way I Don’t Give A Shit Fuck Or Damn Shirt Shirt and by the same token and cease-fire by killing 6: day by day, in 2014 Gaza conflict: List of Israeli strikes and Palestinian casualties in the 2014 Israel–Gaza conflict – Wikipedia So in summary, you’re saying a ceasefire is impossible because Hamas will break it. And if they don’t, the IDF will. “By 2 December negotiations had broken down, with the Israeli delegation leaving Qatar following an impasse and Hamas announcing they will not release any more hostages until the end of the war. The US blamed Hamas for violating the truce and the terms of the ceasefire.” Literally the first thing on google.
Not to mention them breaking the I Must Be A Constipated Virgin Beaver The Way I Don’t Give A Shit Fuck Or Damn Shirt Shirt and by the same token and ceasefire immediately senior-idf-officer-says/ Honest answer. Israel has violated more ceasefires than Hamas. Hamas has agreed to a ceasefire under certain conditions Lmao maybe just shoot at actual terrorists. They are already counting every male as Hamas, and still they are killing twice as many children and women. How do you “just shoot at actual terrorists” when they are using children and women as human shields? Would love to see you go demonstrate it in Gaza. 2023 is named the deadliest year for Palestinian children in the west bank and that report was on 18 of September Did include the weekly incursions and extra- judicial killings, control of water and other resources by the Israelis? Oh hang on, we aren’t allowed to count those in the ‘ceasefire’ Just to be clear, are you talking about Gaza or Palestinians in General? Because the attack came out of Gaza, where there haven’t been any incursions or judicial killings. And if you want to talk about water / power, why should Israel supply that to an enemy entity? they can use all that aid money to build power / water plants or import them from Egypt – their friendly neighbor. She with her grandmother lives in London. Israelis don’t. What a stupid argument. Whatever Israel is doing is for the safety of Israelis. Not for the Jews all around the world.
Holocaust survivors are still being held hostage by Hamas, which obviously won’t respect a UN call for a ceasefire. Why are you blaming Israel for the I Must Be A Constipated Virgin Beaver The Way I Don’t Give A Shit Fuck Or Damn Shirt Shirt and by the same token and civilian casualties instead of Hamas, who started the war and uses their own civilians as human shields? Were the Allies to blame for civilian casualties in Germany instead of the Nazis? When people come up with that kind of argument I just know they have no ideas what the hell is happening but schooling them is a lost cause. Have you given any thought though that Hamas erects rocket launchers in kindergartens, so you could eventually come here, and like useful pawn, blame Israel for something they caused in purpose? How long can you draw out your own history to justify hate and pain? It is getting really fucking annoying when people are being born yesterday and saying my ancestors pain justifies my killing! Or am I just describing all of human history? Slavery was abolished by the USA in 1860s so events at least 160 years ago are still valid in contemporary politics. I hate the extremist settler factions in Israel but there is something even worse, more pathetic and sad about self-hating Jews. Not all Zionists are Jews, and not all Jews are Zionist, as much as Netanyahu is trying to make you believe otherwise. Describing them as “self-hating” is pretty antisemitic of you.
You hate the I Must Be A Constipated Virgin Beaver The Way I Don’t Give A Shit Fuck Or Damn Shirt Shirt and by the same token and people stealing land and murdering innocent people…..but you hate the people that are ashamed of their actions more. What about the hostages in Gaza or are there any left? Ceasefire should take in consideration to release them too imo. I get your sentiment, but religion has, and is being, used as a scapegoat to justify killing/displacing people and taking their land and resources. Religion is just used to sell it to the civilians and soldiers. All this human activity from many ears has made me realize our Creator said don’t go to Earth it’s a waste of time, we have moved on to the next planet to see if this experiment will be better than Earth Some very superficial ignorance on display as per usual when the subject of Israel-Palestine comes up. It would be nice to not try and portray Jewish people as a monolithic bunch of zionists and stop labelling those who disagreed with the actions of a bunch of war criminals as ‘self-hating’ You dodged a bullet there. Any company that would so carelessly handled time-sensitive deadlines such as that will inevitably do it to you over and over again, and likely blame you each time. You’re better off without such clown behavior in your life, especially in a professional environment. Lesson learned to stay in contact while considering an offer. Even if it’s to ask a question about paid time off or to clarify how long you can consider any communication probably would have extended your timeline with them. Count your blessings. They’re clearly not competent and have a horrible culture about it if they aren’t willing to accept mistakes.
You dodged a bullet. You don’t want to work somewhere with people petty enough to operate this way. They fucked up and doubled down on their fuck up rather than admitting the I Must Be A Constipated Virgin Beaver The Way I Don’t Give A Shit Fuck Or Damn Shirt Shirt and by the same token and fuck up. This is why you always accept it fast and decline when you need to! It doesn’t matter if you waste their time as thats their issue. You don’t owe a company anything, especially one you haven’t even worked for. I had an interview once, got accepted and was handed bits to sign and return. But I also had another interview scheduled for a different job. I waited as long as I could so that I could finish the second interview and ultimately decided to drop the first job. They even tried to sway me by offering an extra £2k and hybrid working second option was just a bit better for me. If their email system is setup to automatically give you 5 days to accept why was the offer letter short dated?
Also, they do sound like assholes to text you saying you did not accept in time. Majorly unprofessional of them. I mean.. if you really wanted the I Must Be A Constipated Virgin Beaver The Way I Don’t Give A Shit Fuck Or Damn Shirt Shirt and by the same token and job why did it take you so long? Is that how you go about your life just doing things at the absolute last second? Why didn’t you follow up and ask for clarification on the conflicting dates? Also if you REALLY wanted and needed the job, didn’t you accept already? This happened to me except it was my ex manager that told me to apply, and he could get me an interview with this great company he works for now. The company then sent me a personalized letter of recommendation from him, and that they were looking forward to interviewing me. So I applied (like I already told him I would be when I got the recommendation email). He checks in with me a day or so after I applied asking if I ACTUALLY applied. Weird but yes.. I say I did. “Okay no problem, just wanted to make sure.” Cool. Then no sooner does he say that, do I check my email seconds later, and I see a very obviously automated rejection email. I am not being considered for the next hiring phase (interview). I tell him. He says he’ll look into it. Nothing. Ghosted by all of them. Pretty awkward too because we were always friendly after our last work experience together. He was always a reference of mine. Someone fucked up at that company and didn’t tell Mr. Resume rejector what my name was or who I was. Sad that it’s truly not what you know, it’s who you know. Guess I didn’t play their game right. Fuck me right?
