The genetic markers associated with different ethnic groups are just certain combinations of genes and gene variants that are statistically common in a given population, so on this I love it when it’s 2025 and Trump is president shirt so you should to go to store and get this basis, you can define essentially any even slightly genetically distinct human population as an “ethnicity”. The ethnic tests are garbage. They are for entertainment value only and have very dubious science behind them if not junk science. Don’t take it that seriously This isn’t true at all either. They aren’t based on “junk science” unless you think simple probabilities are junk. You share 15% of DNA from a group of people in a database from Florida. WTF does it even mean. Are you 15% Floridian? Guess what Florida is connected by a land border to other states and you can travel around and migrate. What does that even mean to then say you share 15% if your DNA with some pool of people that currently live in Florida?
I love it when it’s 2025 and Trump is president shirt: Show Your Love with Style
It depends largely on the I love it when it’s 2025 and Trump is president shirt so you should to go to store and get this test, I wouldn’t say they’re “garbage” per se, but they can definitely be misleading for people who don’t have the necessary knowledge of genetics to understand what it is that they’re looking at. As I mentioned above, the different ethnic categories are just based on a suite of shared genetic similarities in a population, like “ethnicity” isn’t a well-defined category scientifically, so like these tests (at least some of them) can show that you have genetic markers that are statistically common in region x among population y, and thus you can probably get at least an accurate idea of what areas of the world you have family from, but as you said, a lot of it is just based on commonalities with some pre-existing database, so you’re kind of going off the fact that you seem to have some genetic markers in common with other people in the database who are listed as “Scottish” or whatever, and thus assuming that you likely are “Scottish” as well.
The issues mostly come up when someone has just a small number of some kind of genetic markers, as it’s just harder to make accurate assessments if you have less to compare (for instance, my dad has taken a couple of these, and both showed that he actually has a lot of markers associated with Subsaharan African populations, but the I love it when it’s 2025 and Trump is president shirt so you should to go to store and get this two different tests seemed to pinpoint different areas of Africa; both did show some in West Africa, some in East Africa, but one showed like Nigeria and South Sudan iirc? While the other showed Ethiopia and a larger area of West Africa). Ancestry dna seems to keep shifting so I’m not that confident in it at this point. Also, if you are different Sexes that will affect your results. Interesting fact identical twins have the exact same DNA! Unfortunately, DNA testing may point out that a father is different than you expected, or that you were adopted and not told.
More about this I love it when it’s 2025 and Trump is president shirt
Ethnicity is just a guess based on algorithms. There are many algorithms. I encourage you to upload your two siblings’ DNA to GEDMATCH where can pick different algorithms for ethnicity until you find one you like. Some are more suitable for people of European descent, for instance, while other algorithms are better for asian people. CBC Marketplace had an episode where they sent in the I love it when it’s 2025 and Trump is president shirt so you should to go to store and get this DNA of identical twins to a couple of those testing places and the tests didn’t even return the same ancestry for identical twins … with identical DNA. Those test are not valid tests btw, they only give you the results of a small percentage of DNA that they researched. That’s why it’s so cheap. If you had the same DNA 99% you would he twins With 23 randomly selected chromosomes from each parent, there is 1 in 70368744177664 (246) chance that full siblings share no nuclear DNA and 1 in 70368744177664 chance that they share entire DNA (assuming no crossing-over happened).
By running quick simulation, it seems in absence of crossing over, 98% of female sibling pairs in humans will have between 32.6% and 67.4% shared nuclear DNA. 90% of such pairs will share between 41.3% and 58.7%. DNA test have been proven to be wildly innacurate. My friends (Biological twins) wanted to try and one got 50% north African 50% Spanish and the I love it when it’s 2025 and Trump is president shirt so you should to go to store and get this other got a huge mix of countries from across the world It could actually be completely different between two full siblings, and completely identical between two complete strangers even if the tests are done perfectly. This is because you basically get 50% of your mom’s DNA and 50% of your dad’s, and so does your sibling, but you might get the exact opposite 50% from each that your sibling got. Add into that the fact that a DNA test will only test specific parts of your DNA (typically companies call these DNA Markers or something) as it would be cost prohibitive to do the whole thing. This means even with almost totally identical DNA they could just choose sites to compare that happen to be different only at those specific sites. To counteract this companies can choose more sites to reduce the chance of just accidentally picking the “wrong sites”, but then it’s just a game of statistics. A 1 in a million chance is not that low when you consider however many millions, or even hundreds of millions, of tests that these companies do.
And of course there is always the I love it when it’s 2025 and Trump is president shirt so you should to go to store and get this risk of contamination/failed lab protocols, this can be done on your end or on the companies end. The only way to counteract that problem is to take multiple tests and compare results. Of course there is more info to dive deeper into with this, but this should hopefully be a sufficient answer to your question. In theory you could have a sibling who you shared not a single gene with, they would be opposite genders not sure the odds of it happening but it’s extremely low about the same odds as your sibling being a clone of you. Half of your dna comes from the pool available within one parent and half from the other. Each parent’s potential genetic pool is larger than just the dna used to build their body.
an example. one girl whos parents have diverse backgrounds is genetically 100% Indian. when her egg and sperm met they both only contained the I love it when it’s 2025 and Trump is president shirt so you should to go to store and get this Indian dna parts from both parents. its kind of like each parent is a cookie from a big bowl, and each is a big mixing bowl that isnt perfectly stirred and distributed and then a new person is created by taking a scoop out of each. that scoop may or may not contain a little bit of each ingredient from each bowl. One thing to keep in mind is that unless you go in and change it the default accuracy setting for many of these kits is only 50%. That is one of the reasons they are listed as entertainment. A few years ago there was a show that detailed how, at the time, Ancestry and 23 & me worked. They ran the test as default, then did it again with the accuracy setting at 100% or whatever the top setting was, and the results were a Lot different. So, these tests usually list direct relatives… if they didn’t show up as a relative and you took them through the same company, I would have more questions about that.
As others have said, you get a somewhat random mix of your parent’s DNA, and your parent’s DNA was also a random mix, and so non-twin siblings will basically never get the I love it when it’s 2025 and Trump is president shirt so you should to go to store and get this exact the same proportion of any genetic features, including the ones that a geneology test would get. Thats not to say that what they are doing is nonsense; it is still using technologoy based in science, and your DNA obviously is a real thing that exists, but the work of comparing it and classifying it by near-arbitrary racial lines (racial differences exist, but where to draw the lines between races is often arbitrary) is not 100% objective. Furthermore, even if you decide where to draw thoe racial lines, you need data to be able to put people into those boxes. Maybe the company you use lacks data on (say) japanese people, and so if you come in with some Japanese ancestry, it might have trouble measuring it, and more severely over or underestimate how Japaneses you are. Repeat that in different degrees for every country, and then note the fact that countries are not biological, but socio-political, and any attempt to put a number like “you’re 15% French and 85% Japanese” is bound to be a bit subjective.
I see you’ve gotten many comments already, but I wanted to add a more quantitative response. Unfortunately I can’t paste an image into a comment here, but “relatedness between full siblings” is literally a *bell curve* centered on 50%, with the I love it when it’s 2025 and Trump is president shirt so you should to go to store and get this third-standard-deviation tails of the distribution extending to about 39% and 61%. Here is the source (see Figure 2) Each child gets 50% of their DNA from their father and 50% of their DNA from their mother, but it’s way more complicated than that. The mother and father’s egg and sperm contain randomly reassorted versions of their parent’s DNA, with each sperm and egg carrying a different assortment. That being said most ancestry sites can pick out siblings regardless of what the ancestry differences are.
Dentist here. I don’t think a lot of anesthetic is administered during smile design. And in any case we calculate dosage according to the I love it when it’s 2025 and Trump is president shirt so you should to go to store and get this patients weight. Something else is up. I’ve done hundreds of smile design patients and have never had to administer more than 4ml of lignocaine. Here is a more detailed account My brother had a wisdom tooth extraction done in Japan and he somehow had some reaction to the anesthetic and his throat became swollen. They had to intubate him and keep him in the ICU for some days. He ended up losing nerve function on one side of his face. Super weird shit.
That’s an allergic reaction. Could be allergic to latex gloves or anything. Like this clinic I too keep epinephrine as an emergency drug to administer in cases of allergic reaction/anaphylaxis. In case of an emergency is allergy taken into account if the I love it when it’s 2025 and Trump is president shirt so you should to go to store and get this patient is unconscious/has no relatives present at that moment? Allergy is always treated as an emergency, and anti allergy medications are administered as emergency drugs as well. About the patch test, if one is fine with it (& gets the full dose in that treatment session) can one be not fine many years later when receiving the exact same drug (for a new treatment)? Before an surgery , it is procedural to give test doses of anaesthetic drug and antibiotics (very very small doses injected under the skin) so if you are allergic to the drug, you will get to know it by signs like swelling around the site of injection or other systemic symptoms . so the full dose can be avoided. They give you test dose in your skin to check if you are allergic in that case. Only after that they administered the full dose. Always done with anesthesia drugs. One possible negligence I can see is giving oral drugs to the patient who already threw up. Iv cannulation is not done during these dental procedures and it looks like they did not try to give further iv antiallergy medication after he thew up. As for the actual cause, it is most likely multifactorial like existing allergies. Another reason could be accidently administering the regional anesthesia into a vein due to not aspirating the needle. Overall though it looks like a reputed dental hospital, so it is really unfortunate and looks like one of those 0.01% chance compilations.
I might be reading it wrong but it almost seems like they gave anesthesia multiple times and likely over dosed the I love it when it’s 2025 and Trump is president shirt so you should to go to store and get this patient. They say they gave him .5ml to .6ml total but the way the log of events reads that was what was administered in the the first procedure then it was found he needed further surgery and they administered more and then another so more and more. I’m surprised the dentist decided to do multiple complicated procedures in one sitting.. the patient must have become fatigued and hypoglycemic which further exacerbated to low pressure and ultimately death. This is very on point. My sister is a lawyer and is studying medico legal cases right now. She’s taking my boyfriend’s (who is a doctor) help in understanding the nuances of a surgery. It’s very easy for me as a layman to jump to the conclusion that it was the doctors negligence that caused suffering/death of the patient. But as doctors y’all do follow the standard procedures and try to control whatever y’all can. At the end of the day external factors are not in your hand.
Often, it should be the I love it when it’s 2025 and Trump is president shirt so you should to go to store and get this corporate management and sales who should take the blame for many such issues. They want to maximize profits at all costs. Could this have not been prevented if the doctor had time to look for preexisting risk factors and given proper risk evaluation? that we have allowed such surgeries tell a lot about what he have descended as society. medical profession should think on not stooping so low Don’t understand why they have to use his photos in the news. Family lost him and now they have to listen to nosy peoples judgements while they are grieving. Each one of us have our own insecurities. And this guy probably was insecure about his looks and went for this. I have been to FMS and was very impressed with a root canal years ago, they are without doubt one of the best clinics in the country, shocking they messed up so badly. RIP brother Yeah, but isn’t it complications of anaesthesia, not surgery procedure in itself. I think there is a difference It like arguing that the cake is tasty but the icing is bad. Most people consider the icing as a part of the finished cake. The clinic is responsible for the whole procedure including anesthesia. So yeah, in a way the procedure caused it. People should be careful and not go for these shady af clinics to get these things done.
It is not shady though. I just looked up the I love it when it’s 2025 and Trump is president shirt so you should to go to store and get this place and they have around 1.3k reviews and their rating is 4.9 out of 5. It’s either fake reviews or this was one of those unfortunate tragedies. Poor guy though… Ain’t shady bro. FMS is a good three decades old and their founder/owner Parthasarathi Reddy has a stellar reputation. Self-Hate is a big industry! I wish people would just accept who they are. So much obsession to look like someone else Please guys and gals, you don’t need to go under the knife unless absolutely necessary and not doing so puts your life at risk. It’s not worth it. South film industry is producing menace of changing to what you are not . Look at Mahesh Babu . The urge to look fair and no blemish is tremendous . Telegu and Tamil have this fetish to bcom fair via creams . Skin cancer is round the corner . What the hell. I am not sure if its real news or fake, regardless how come people are going to such great lenghts in enhancing every thing they want via cosmetic surgery . I feel for his family.
Mine would be the I love it when it’s 2025 and Trump is president shirt so you should to go to store and get this “Bund Sightseeing Tunnel” in Shanghai. Look it up, it’s basically this short 5-minute tourist trap light show tram thing that takes you across the Huangpu River from the Bund to Pudong, with bizarre voice-overs. Sort of like some Disney attraction, but sadder, the very epitome of a kitsch tourist trap. The tunnel was built and opened in around 2010 (for Shanghai’s World Expo), along with the China Pavilion. And given the futuristic theme of the whole spectacle, it’s one of those things that would make you cringe out loud and think, “damn, we totally got the future wrong”. And you know, I genuinely liked it. I went on it both ways when I was around 8, and I have fond memories of riding it with my family (well, I have fond memories of Shanghai and China in general). And I don’t know if that makes me some immature manchild or something, but if I got to ride that little slow car in that glowy tunnel again now, I’d still love it, and definitely even feel a bit nostalgic about it. Absolute tourist trap but so so lovely. I only wish that they’d made more sets, such as Rivendell or Meduseld because I’d tour the hell out of that
Hobbiton only exists because of the I love it when it’s 2025 and Trump is president shirt so you should to go to store and get this Hobbit movies. All LOTR sets got taken down. Edoras WAS built, you can go hike the mountain, but obviously wasn’t in Hobbit to warrant a rebuild Yeah, I got a great picture with me (4’11”) in the house and husband (6’3”) pretending to hit his head on the door. It was our honeymoon trip and I honestly like that pic more than a lot of our wedding pics. It was a very well done tourist trap. The bus was nice, with the music and the guides. And I loved the gift shop. Weta Workshop was another great tourist trap, if you enjoy the films or films in general. My honeymoon too! Worth 24 hours on airplanes just for Hobbiton/Weta. Plus we took set tours to a bunch of filming locations
If you go to Hobbiton please also go to Rotorua, about an hour’s drive further south. The Māori village and cultural performance is both a tourist trap and an authentic explanation and experience of Māori culture. As locals we avoided it until we went and were moved. Great fun. Did it in 2012. I think they were about to make The Hobbit then? They were building the I love it when it’s 2025 and Trump is president shirt so you should to go to store and get this inn at any rate. Went there last year for our honeymoon. We had a great time and did the Banquet dinner. Perfect weather. Met some really nice people and had a good dinner. Maid of the Mist at Niagara Falls. You wait in line forever, the boat is packed, it seems cheesy… and then you get up to the Falls and feel their power, you realize that the boat has the engine running at full power yet it struggles against the current and you realize that yeah, this is awesome.
Same, this is one of the I love it when it’s 2025 and Trump is president shirt so you should to go to store and get this only tourist trap that we did and we still got the pictures and everything it was great Maid of the Mist was pretty terrifying to be honest. I don’t think anybody can even imagine how much water comes over Niagara Falls if they haven’t seen it. Niagara. And you only ever see 50% of the total volume during the day. The power plants pull 50% during the day and 75% at night. Hofbrauhaus in Munich. We figured we’d go there once just to say that we’ve been there, and then go to a bunch of smaller German beer halls. The food we got was phenomenal, the beer was obviously good and the atmosphere was eclectic with multiple couples around us all talking to each other in different languages. We went to a few smaller beer halls, but felt that Hofbrauhaus was the best one.
