What a stupid line of reasoning. Just say you don’t want to donate to charity and move on. You get to write your name on this paper and we will hang it in the store so everyone knows you donated!” So many people would say “why doesn’t your boss donate?” Much easier to publicly ask someone in front of a group of strangers, “Hey sir, are you a total piece of garbage? Or would you like to donate 25 cents to save the life of a child?” But MOST importantly. They get to use YOUR money for a tax write off and contribute even less to society. It’s brilliant really.
