You’re going to get your blood drawn. It involves a small needle (smaller than donating blood if you’ve done that) being inserted into a vein. You’ll feel pain, but it should easily be within a very tolerable level. It didn’t hurt as much as he was expecting There is research where they determined that looking away from the site of pain reduces the pain felt. And that looking at the site through a magnifying glass makes the pain worse. Human brains are weird and fun. This reminds me of all the times I’ve had a cut or scrape that went unnoticed for I don’t know how long with no pain whatsoever. Until I actually saw it.. Then it suddenly started hurting like a bitch.
