I need the I Am A Reader Not Because I Don’t Have A Life Books shirt But I will love this fan and A/C on because I get hot easily and I’m nowhere near overweight. The noise does bother me, unfortunately, but that’s what earplugs are for. Well the way I explained this to my ex was that what goes on tour stays on tour. Maybe don’t shag the fans that are standing outside your home though. I sleep with one because I get night sweats and to help me breathe easier since my room is always warm (worst ventilation in the house ofc). I also sleep with a long video on YouTube playing for background sound so my brain shuts up. At first my bf struggled to fall asleep to it but always said it didn’t bother him and now he falls asleep to it easily and still sleeps fine if there isn’t background sound. I’d say maybe she’ll get used to it eventually but honestly she doesn’t need to be saying it’s a weight thing like that. I tend to run hot, so a fan helps, but it isn’t just about the temp. Basically, I need air to be circulating. In the winter I still sleep with the fan on, but I aim it away from me (us). If it’s about the air, perhaps you can angle it so it doesn’t hit her directly. If it’s about the noise, you may want to look into getting a new, quieter fan. This shouldn’t be that big a deal. I’m the same way. I run hot, and my wife runs cold. I sleep with the fan on me and she’s on the other side. If I were you, I’d just tell her your sleep patterns are incompatible and there’s no way to resolve it, so you’ll have to part ways. Sometimes it can be tough to find a compromise when living together with different preferences, but that comment is not a good start and I don’t know what weight has to do with needing a fan or not.
