Post this on LinkedIn or whatever so others know that the I Am A Pittman I May Not Be In Philadelphia Eagles Philly NFL, But I’m An Eagles Fan Wherever I Am Shirts But I will love this correspondence from this company cannot be trusted by other job seekers. It’s important for them to know. If you knew beforehand you would have accepted. So it’s up to you to keep others from making the same mistakes. It sucks you lost out on employment but that person would be awful to work with, probably steals everyone’s ideas and takes credit for their work, and you could never ever trust anything they say. Just based off people I’ve worked with that answered questions like this in the past. One of the bigger drawbacks to the dawn of the AI verse, similar to the guy who was wrongfully quoted a discount on a plane ticket by an automated chatbot. The company wouldn’t honor what the chatbot told him. In other words, should they see fit – companies are straight up allowed to lie to you now about anything even through official channels, and upon any kind of recourse they can just say ‘not our fault. The robot did it’

I Am A Pittman I May Not Be In Philadelphia Eagles Philly NFL, But I’m An Eagles Fan Wherever I Am Shirts: Embrace Your Uniqueness

Hey, if you live in Canada, there recently has been a legal precedent that automated systems can be legally held accountable – https://www.washingtonpost.com/travel/2024/02/18/air-canada-airline-chatbot-ruling/ ! I once got an offer and the I Am A Pittman I May Not Be In Philadelphia Eagles Philly NFL, But I’m An Eagles Fan Wherever I Am Shirts But I will love this details in the offer were wrong and needed to be corrected. Recruiter said they’d send me a new offer in a day or two. Two days go by, then I get: “You didn’t accept the offer before the expiration. Sorry. Goodbye”… If you need 5 days to ponder an offer, you prob don’t want it anyway. Still an idiot doubling down on the date issue. Any company doing things in a manner this stupid is not one working for. This is surely a sign of the incompetence that runs internally.
I might sound dumb but why did you wait 5 days to accept this offer if you really wanted this job? I would have accepted it in a heartbeat. I have to say. If I offered a job and told someone that they got it, but didn’t hear a peep from them for 5 days, I’d start to move on, ESPECIALLY if there’s others that want the I Am A Pittman I May Not Be In Philadelphia Eagles Philly NFL, But I’m An Eagles Fan Wherever I Am Shirts But I will love this job more. 11 frozen dependents and one 18 month old dependent. We’re going to get so much money back! And with such a large family we qualify for Medicaid and WIC benefits. /s Or argue that those embryos are illegals because they aren’t technically citizens according to the guidelines of the constitution “You’ll need your child’s Social Security number to claim them as a dependent on your income tax return or open a bank account in the child’s name and buy savings bonds. Your child’s Social Security number is also necessary to obtain medical coverage or apply for any kind of government services for your child.” I don’t think the SSA is going to give out social security numbers to frozen embryos; which in a way makes the decision even worse if possible. “On day 5 or 6, the embryos are frozen instead of being transferred back into her uterus. Preimplantation genetic testing can be performed on the embryos before they are frozen to screen for common chromosomal diseases, and also to identify the gender of the embryo.” I mean when you have a baby, you register for them to get a social security number and later you just get the card in the mail I think. It’d be the same process, just at fertilization instead of birth.

How I can buy this I Am A Pittman I May Not Be In Philadelphia Eagles Philly NFL, But I’m An Eagles Fan Wherever I Am Shirts

Texas didn’t listen to the I Am A Pittman I May Not Be In Philadelphia Eagles Philly NFL, But I’m An Eagles Fan Wherever I Am Shirts But I will love this supreme count about killing death row inmates below certain IQ ranges. SC did nothing about it. Social security number wasn’t listed but there is a long list of who qualifies. Son and daughter were on it but frozen embryo wasn’t. Not a lawyer but would follow the case. “You must have provided over 50% of the dependent’s support during the tax year . If you file a joint return, the support can be from you or your spouse. You cannot claim credit on an Alabama return for a dependent if you provided less than 50% of the support under Alabama law as you can under federal law in certain conditions.” So long as you’re paying the facility to keep your frozen embryos, I’d say you were providing 100% of their support.
Also, there’s a fee to keep the I Am A Pittman I May Not Be In Philadelphia Eagles Philly NFL, But I’m An Eagles Fan Wherever I Am Shirts But I will love this embryo frozen, and, therefore, by the definition of those claiming it is a life, alive. There’s your support. In Georgia, they passed a law recently that recognizes life from the date of conception. Someone sued the state over it and as a result, the state income tax board had to add a question to state tax returns about whether you were pregnant during that tax year because now you can claim the fetus as a dependent. I wouldn’t be surprised if other “red” states followed suit since they all like to copy each other with these forced birther laws, and I would imagine that they will have to eventually do the same for frozen embryos after someone sues over it. I’m also waiting for the lawsuits that will require fathers to pay child support from the date of conception. If they’re going to change the definition of something as fundamental as when “life” is a person, then we need to force them to be consistent across the board so that when things are as awful as they will inevitably be, people will be a lot more serious about voting and more selective about who they’re voting for.
Interesting. I hadn’t heard that. It’s tied to fetal heart beat so wouldn’t apply to frozen embryos. Not sure of legal definition of conception but the I Am A Pittman I May Not Be In Philadelphia Eagles Philly NFL, But I’m An Eagles Fan Wherever I Am Shirts But I will love this dictionary says fertilization, implantation, or both. “Under the new law, one parent can claim an unborn child on their taxes if the child had a detectable heartbeat between July 20 and Dec. 31, 2022. According to the Georgia Department of Revenue, or DOR, tax filers can claim the deduction even if the pregnancy later resulted in a miscarriage.” I agree with you that we ought to challenge these laws in every way including being consistent on definitions and treatment of different cases. I mean, if they’re intimately responsible for paying for storage for their embryos indefinitely that seems fair.
Thinking of the I Am A Pittman I May Not Be In Philadelphia Eagles Philly NFL, But I’m An Eagles Fan Wherever I Am Shirts But I will love this doctors who spent a fortune setting up IVF equipment. They will take their practices to other states. It will also affect the quality of the docs willing to stay there. I say this as someone who lives on the outskirts of a big city. The quality of care goes down the further you get from the city center. The quality of care will go down for the entire state and region if you continue to de-incentivize them. If you are a true believer then He will provide you with wealth and health! You just need to name it, believe in it, and God will provide. /s You’re right. OB/Gyn is already a fraught field with shortages in medical professionals. Abortion laws have made it even harder. Fertility is the most reliable way for doctors in that field to make money. Take that away, good luck getting people to practice OB/Gyn in your state.
We likely won’t just see increased morbidity/mortality with pregnancy and L&D, but with gynecologic problems like cervical cancer. I wouldn’t be surprised if they come after hysterectomies and oophorectomies next. The medical malpractice insurance companies will start locking down on that if these bans become to draconic before legislation will . So IUD’s and the I Am A Pittman I May Not Be In Philadelphia Eagles Philly NFL, But I’m An Eagles Fan Wherever I Am Shirts But I will love this BCP will be the first gone … if not outlawed certain care networks will start highly to encourage Drs to avoid recommending or prescribing. It will be small moves at first …. IUD x or BCP y we do not recommend or even prescribe or use because of it increases miscarriages Long rant short is these old politicians Dont care if a woman ends up pregnant or how … but believe a man should have access to little blue pills at any time so he can do whatever
You’re right, birth control first. But there have already been talks of removing and reimplanting ectopic pregnancies, so I will not be surprised if they come for surgeries that remove women’s reproductive organs next. Especially because it has the I Am A Pittman I May Not Be In Philadelphia Eagles Philly NFL, But I’m An Eagles Fan Wherever I Am Shirts But I will love this added bonus of possibly making life harder for trans people. Damn they’re really gunning to bring life expectancy for women back to the good ol’ days of the Black Death ain’t they? 8 hr. agoForward this to the whoever runs the company, they clearly have issues in their personnel office that need to be corrected. If leadership doesn’t respond go to glassdoor and say entry pay is 40% higher so they have issues filling roles in the company since applicants will assume they’re being lowballed. Idk man. Sounds like you should have been more on top of things. Sure it says the 23rd but you still waited five days to accept an offer for a job you really need? Sucks, but I have no sympathy for you.
It sucks that the I Am A Pittman I May Not Be In Philadelphia Eagles Philly NFL, But I’m An Eagles Fan Wherever I Am Shirts But I will love this email has the wrong date, but this negligence is on you. It’s your responsibility to read that letter entirely. OP states he was awaiting other offers. Not sure how someone could be desperate for a job but also have numerous offers lined up. Seems like a great boat to be in. But my guess is that OP may have been interviewing with several companies that maybe were known to pay more. He perhaps reached out to them about his offer and they said, “we’ll try to offer something more competitive” and then they maybe didn’t or didn’t offer the role or something. In the end, bullet dodged. Email clearly states to accept the offer by the 23rd. Even if the offer itself states the 20th, that’s a discrepancy that they should acknowledge. Ignoring their mistake means things might not go well for you in other matters down the line.
On the I Am A Pittman I May Not Be In Philadelphia Eagles Philly NFL, But I’m An Eagles Fan Wherever I Am Shirts But I will love this other hand, from HR’s point of view, you didn’t review the offer properly and figured you’re not that interested in the position. I mean… if you really need/want the job, why wait multiple days to review the job offer? You got the email 5 days ago…. You didn’t have any time in the last 5 days to go over a job offer that you REALLY need/want???? Idk about that…. If that’s how they are already acting before you work for them, then no you really really REALLY did not want this job. May I ask why did it take you so long to click the link anyway? If it was a job you really wanted, surely one of the first things you’d do is accept it. Unless you wanted to try to get a higher salary or change the terms of employment is my only thought.
I once had a letter fora surgery at the I Am A Pittman I May Not Be In Philadelphia Eagles Philly NFL, But I’m An Eagles Fan Wherever I Am Shirts But I will love this hospital that wasnt sent out until a week AFTER the surgery was meant to take place. I was lucky that it was a life-saving surgery I needed and that BUPA wasnt too expensive to get what i needed to have done.. But I mean come on, how am i meant to turn up on the 15th, if the letter wasnt sent till the 22nd and arrived on the 25th? Honestly I feel like you dodged a bullet, a sane HR person would apologize for the mistake and give you until the 23rd. If they don’t feel they can do that for whatever reason, that signals to me that mistakes are not tolerated or that arrogance is the M.O of employees. If you really wanted the job you would have accepted. If you were seriously considering the job then you would have caught the discrepancy and inquired. Sounds like neither. Do your due diligence. I’m assuming this is just a recruiter being difficult. Can you try to reach out to the hiring manager? I’ve worked with recruiters as a manager, and I’d be pretty pissed if we missed out on a candidate because they fucked up. 5 days was correct op received the email on the 16th. Email says 23rd because the automated system was thinking 5 business days. So it didn’t include the weekend in those 5 days. Hence the 2 extra days which is where the 23rd comes from. I suggest reaching out to the hiring manager and politely explaining the situation, and emphasizing that you really want the job, and that it was always your intention to accept.
Edit: if they ask why you didn’t accept immediately, say you always take time to consider important decisions like this, and perhaps even ask a mentor/advisor figure. Do not mention considering better paying opportunities; that’s certainly a valid thing to do, but in this situation just emphasize that you thought you had the I Am A Pittman I May Not Be In Philadelphia Eagles Philly NFL, But I’m An Eagles Fan Wherever I Am Shirts But I will love this time, and you did intend to ultimately accept. That is weapons grade incompetence yet they’ve double down on it, a company that can’t get something that basic right, or even admit to it, is a company I would steer well clear of. Of course if you’re in dire need of a job then that isn’t much help. If they can’t even be assholed enough to reply saying the right date or to fix it what else are they not doing? I feel for you and it sucks that this discrepancy occurred however I’d imagine now you will be paying far more attention to these little details.
Dang. The current company I work for messed up the I Am A Pittman I May Not Be In Philadelphia Eagles Philly NFL, But I’m An Eagles Fan Wherever I Am Shirts But I will love this date and gave me 12 Hrs. I reached out and they fixed it to 1 week- no questions- like a normal company… Honestly, maybe dodge a bullet. A good place to work would have said “oops, so do you want it still?” and that’d be the end of it. Conract the hiring manager. This is HR trying to avoid anyone at the company realizing they fucked up. Go around them. But like… why didn’t you smash accept the same day you got the email if you needed this job so badly? Weird to let it sit. If that was a system generated email, they also need someone to proofread that second last paragraph. Department of Redundancy Dept. called, they want their meme back. Call thier HR to.get an appointment or talk to them. Send them copies of the proof. Tell them how.much you ant the job 5 days sounds like a decent amount of time to make a decision. I don’t think a company will be waiting more than that to hear back from a candidate when they have someone already waiting to accept the offer. Send an email directly to both the head of HR and whomever the supervisor reports to (VP level or higher). Express how disappointed you are in their handling of their error, and how poorly it reflects on them as a company that they can’t take ownership of their mistakes. Say that while you were excited to accept the offer in the time communicated, their response to the issue has led you to seek employment elsewhere.
After a business day or two, write a scathing review on Glassdoor. Keep it professional and stick to the I Am A Pittman I May Not Be In Philadelphia Eagles Philly NFL, But I’m An Eagles Fan Wherever I Am Shirts But I will love this facts, which are bad enough to speak for themselves. You’ll either get an apology and potentially an updated offer, or you’ll get nothing (which is what you have now anyway). I suggest not taking the offer if it comes, but if you do need the work feel free to take it, get paid, and continue your job search. It’s always easier to hunt while you’re employed and the pressure is off. If you really wanted the job, you shouldn’t have waited 5 days to begin with. You kinda did this to yourself. All you had to do was click the link and e sign/accept, it was just an offer letter. You could’ve backed out at any point in the next 2+ weeks. I am sorry that happened to you. I know everyone is saying they sound like a company you wouldn’t want to work for so bullet dodged, but it sounds like you really needed the job.
Just for the I Am A Pittman I May Not Be In Philadelphia Eagles Philly NFL, But I’m An Eagles Fan Wherever I Am Shirts But I will love this future, if you desperately need a job, just accept any offer that comes your way. You can always continue to look for better opportunities while they do their background check and onboarding, and there is literally no consequences in backing out of a job offer after already accepting it. That comment irks me ‘ I always give 5 days’. Like you’re trying to get a job, what hiring manager expects people to know their personality before hiring you? Like you’re recruiter346467854 I’m suppose to know you “always give 5 days”? People are right you dodged a bullet. He immediately switches blame to you because it makes him look bad. No doubt he’d continue to do that. Also, if this was a job you really wanted, why the hell did you wait multiple days to actually look at the email and the attached letter? Like seriously, this was kinda partly your fault too.
With all due respect and by no means I’m defending the I Am A Pittman I May Not Be In Philadelphia Eagles Philly NFL, But I’m An Eagles Fan Wherever I Am Shirts But I will love this recruiter (they messed up), but if you couldn’t pass on this job offer, why didn’t you accept sooner? I think this is a load of crap and you dodged a bullet with this company. However, I have to play devils advocate and ask, if you really want this job why haven’t you looked at the offer and responded already? It’s been 5 days. While I agree that it’s fucked up that they made a mistake, I’m curious to know why you waited so long to respond? OP you dodged a bullet. The system doesn’t understand business days vs normal days and instead of admitting their mistakes, they continued to blame you. You were just saved of a horribly bad memory that would stick with you for decades, possibly even mental health issues, and management potentially causing you to doubt yourself because of an unknown system. Count your blessings, block them, move on. Their loss, your win. I work in HR and honestly this company sound like a nightmare based on their hiring process. You can’t talk to anyone in that tone and wtf? Even if you didn’t accept on time it’s not something you can’t send aga They can literally just resend the offer. I honestly don’t get what’s their deal here, they found a candidate that’s ready for hire, from an employer’s point of view it makes absolutely no sense to start the whole recruiting process from scratch again because of an offer letter accepted after deadline. “I always give 5 days to accept” okay and YOU would know that how exactly?????? People need to be held to the standard of their communication, absolutely ridiculous. Maybe a blessing in disguise since they seem irrational!
Sounds like you dodged a bullet. You’re lucky, this employer told you they were horrible in less than 8 lines. Some push so much propaganda it takes a while before the I Am A Pittman I May Not Be In Philadelphia Eagles Philly NFL, But I’m An Eagles Fan Wherever I Am Shirts But I will love this truth hits home. Take care, good luck. infuriating, but you’ve likely dodged a bullet. they won’t admit THEIR error, so imagine what it’d be like to actually work for them. Exactly. If you wanted to drag your feet, don’t be mad at them. You both played a game, but you lost. Learn and move on. This same shit happened to me at the post office last month literally turned down other jobs then got rescinded a couple days later because I didn’t send in my background check when I sent it in the same day they asked Nah man. If the hiring manager that rigid on something they messed up, you really dodged a bullet. Sucks now, but they sound toxic as hell. The only “mildly infuriating” here is that you waited 5 days, took your sweet ass time, and probably would’ve dragged it out longer if you didn’t wake up to that text. Much deserved. You said you had a few days to review your offer letter, but didn’t read in the offer letter which she is specifying states the 20th. Maybe it’s a system to root out people who don’t actually read the offer letter, but instead use it to negotiate another position, and she caught you. I’d say if you really want it, apologize and hope for the best. But if the actual offer letter states the 20th, you’re probably SOL, because that just means you didn’t actually read it. The fuck up is on their part, of course they will never admit it but I hate how some people in this thread still try and give you shit for it.
