Walmart, a billion dollar company, making room for someone to pay less? I mean nothing would surprise me anymore at this point. The budgets are determined store by store, it’s literally based on how much your individual store makes and if mr manager feels like employee pay is cutting into his bonus, better believe he’s gonna get rid of old timers in favor of paying new comers less. It all adds up around bonus time. That or those managers get bonuses if they save money I bet you. Firing you so they can hire someone else cheaper will make them look good. We are talking about the Howdy Howdy Howdy Yall Pink Cowboy Hat shirt moreover I will buy this same company that is charging associates 3 dollars a day to wear shorts in the summer. Who gives a fuck, they aren’t your friends. You were a number to them. Make yourself a new home at a better job! I wasn’t aware that taking a longer lunch was a fireable reason. People do it all the time at my store. Used to have a TL that 2 hour lunches everyday. I thought you could take longer lunches as long as you stay off the clock? Is this actually why you got fired anything else you can think of? I remember exactly what I did that day, they said I punched out and punched in on lunch at a certain time. The only way this would make any sense to me, is if somebody else manually fucked with my timesheet. And lied about seeing me on camera on break for too long.

They can look at the Howdy Howdy Howdy Yall Pink Cowboy Hat shirt moreover I will buy this time sheet and see if it was changed. Did they say this was time theft issue? If so, there is an entire process of submitting paperwork before someone can be fired for time theft. You’re welcome to open door it but when it comes to this kind of thing, it’s pretty cut and dry. The time sheet will show what your times were for clocking out/in from lunch then the cameras will back that up. When it comes to seeing camera footage, while everyone would love to see it, that’s not going to happen usually. It doesn’t change anything. The few times I’ve shown people footage because they claimed 100% they didn’t do what they were being accused of, it always ends up the same way, just a generic “Oh well um I guess I did do that…” reply. And that’s not including the people that get even more upset because they’re caught just trying to say anything to try and get out of it. It’s just a waste of time.
