So my big takeaway from this post (aside from people absolutely roasting OP) is to get out there and apply to anything that you meet at least 50-60% of the Heat Miser Since 1974 Logo Shirt besides I will buy this requirements for. This is news to me as well, so hopefully this helps me get that better job that I’m after! have you contacted staffing companies. jobs are shot but they get you placed without too much running around. best of luck I went through a period of about a year and a half unemployed, sent out over 800 applications and in that tine only had 5 email replies. 3 of which led to interviews, one interview admitted they called the wrong person and the other two didn’t pan out. I later heard from colleagues that most of the remote job posts online aren’t real, those companies are legally required to post them even if they have no intention of hiring remote help. All i can say is hang in there something should pop up, look outside your area of expertise or try to parlay your skillset into a new industry. Thats what i had to wind up doing. Your resume is too general,,need to tailor it to specific jobs, highlight items that apply to that job, i.e. list software you’ve used in bullet points.
