They insisted that we fill the form online and make the payment right away. This whole conversation was heavily laced with so much of small talk from the beginning that I found the whole thing quite annoying. Thankfully my mother was clever enough to say that she doesn’t own a phone (fact) and that I don’t have a bank account or UPI and that we’d make the payment from my father’s phone once we reach home. Those guys spent a solid 20 mins talking to us and were obviously quite disappointed with the outcome. My point being, they have a script and all the time in their hands and would do anything to get some money from you.
