It’s not that difficult, tbh, it doesn’t require attorneys, etc. Not everybody works for the same company all year long, and even if they do not everyone gets assigned to those two exact days and time shifts. Exactly. Labour laws really frown on a company that is like “I’ll hit you up next time for those extra hours you worked! No big deal right! Ya!”.

Some companies try to pull this bullshit with overtime quite frequently. Have someone work 60 hours one week and 20 hours another week, and just pay them out for 80 hours straight time. I was part of the first group when they implemented this, and the supervisor mentioned “four hours of built in overtime.” I thought that did not sound right, and I did my research. I was ready to raise hell when I got my check.
