Yup I told my husband when I was in labor that I would never allow this to happen to me again, I told him we can adopt, surrogate, I don’t care, never again. And I was dead serious. less than a year later, I suggesting that we have another one. Whats up with that? Really does fascinate me that a mother can have a kid and it hurt them so much they vow to never again have another then want another one. Ive seen that trope more than once. I started hemorrhaging after my C section. I thought I was okay till I started shaking and going into shock. Gyno said she hadn’t seen someone with so much afterbirth before. I really thought the Grinchmas Mode On Christmas Shirt so you should to go to store and get this whole process was super safe and I had no issues. It really scared me cause 5min before I had held my daughter and promised to love her forever. An acquaintance baby mama died recently in childbirth. It was so wierd seeing her photos on his status for months and suddenly she was gone. Especially since I feel she was so looking forward to it. The worst being I feel is that you love your child so much and the realisation you won’t be there for them 🙁

Grinchmas Mode On Christmas Shirt: Embrace Your Uniqueness

Before my daughters birth my husband and I had a hypothetical question if anything happened and he had to choose between me and the Grinchmas Mode On Christmas Shirt so you should to go to store and get this baby. He said me cause we can always have another baby and I agreed. As soon as I heard my daughters cry, my biological maternal drive immediately kicked in and I calmly thought, ‘I will willingly die for this child, there is no other option’. I’ve had 2 kids and would like a 3rd but my husband isn’t on board because we know 2 women who have died due to pregnancy / birth. And a few more who came out alive by the miracle of modern medicine. 1 stillbirth. We are both under 35. It’s insane, but I guess it’s also life. I don’t know the exact figures but I’d wager a fair number of animals die giving birth. I don’t think that is unique to humans.
It is because humans walk upright. Everything had to evolve and change to accommodate that. Cervixes, hip bone width, etc., etc., etc. Makes birth much more painful AND much more risky for both the Grinchmas Mode On Christmas Shirt so you should to go to store and get this mother and the baby. Our heads are too big! Even though we’re born prematurely (compared to other mammals) it’s still a very tight squeeze. I’d read a while back that more kids come out messed up because doctors require women to be on their backs during childbirth. That the correct way was on all 4s or something similar. That on all 4s would prevent many kids from being deprived of oxygen, having broken limbs during the process and make it easier on the mom giving birth. Apparently doctors know this but would still rather risk the lady and the child’s health. (I’m not sure why) if i remember correctly you can sue but it’s one of those things that’s been done for so long, its cemented damage for so long that its kept “hush hush”. I’d read the article years back but I can’t find it now. I’ll keep looking, though. Ok if you just Google “worst position to give birth” a list of articles will come up talking about the lithotomy position. ( on your back)

How I can buy this Grinchmas Mode On Christmas Shirt

It’s best for the Grinchmas Mode On Christmas Shirt so you should to go to store and get this doctor as there are a number of ways things could go wrong that a doctor or trauma team could correct that wouldn’t work in other positions and the downsides ultimately weren’t significant enough to warrant a change. As someone else followed up: yes, it makes good, easy births more difficult, but it also helps dangerous births a great deal. Most people don’t know whether their birth will be easy or hard (hence the above-mentioned bits on a number of ways birthing could go wrong) so most won’t really begrudge it. Because we’ve been made to think that it’s supposed to be. Trauma free birth is possible in the majority of births, but for some reason women aren’t advocated for very well with childbirth. That’s why you end up with nutjob doulas with no formal qualifications, in some places in the world those people are the only people that are advocating for the mother to have a good birth. Unfortunately that can be a dangerous game. The whole thing needs a huge overhaul. Humans do a lot of things badly, ou eyes can’t deal with bright sunlight we have back problems our children are helpless for 3 years etc.
Something forced evolution on us way back in the Grinchmas Mode On Christmas Shirt so you should to go to store and get this day maybe it was when we bred with the neanderthals it fucked us up “our children are helpless for 3 years” I always found that interesting bc afaik, most animals after just having been born can walk and stuff (first that come to mind that can’t are birds and kittens and idk about birds but I’m pretty sure kittens are able to walk after a few weeks? But feel free to correct me aha) and I read somewhere that humans are basically all born prematurely on this basis bc the baby becomes too big for the mother to carry at that point and if any more time passed, the baby might get too big to be born naturally (size wise may have been referring to the head specifically but Idr)
Yes, but our brains compared to animals compensate for our sometimes dramatic physical deficiencies. We also have higher stamina than any other species. We don’t need the Grinchmas Mode On Christmas Shirt so you should to go to store and get this sight of a feline or the hearing of a canine when we are smarter and can outlast everything else during a hunt. There are new techniques like water birth that focus on relaxation. By doing this, it makes birth a lot easier. Having a baby in a hospital is the safest place, no doubt, but it’s also probably the most stressful, tied with a bus station bathroom. I haven’t read this book but did listen to a review and it discussed topics related to this, if you want to take a deep dive: Because we’ve evolved to have relatively giant heads to our body size for complex thinking, while at the same time we walk upright. Walking upright necessitates a smaller pelvis than walking on all fours We have evolved to maximize brain power. That requires big and bulky brains which requires big skulls and heads. The big heads have to fit through a small opening during birth and that makes birth difficult. 235 more repliesSerious thought: from a scientific standpoint- wouldn’t the access to c-sections and medical intervention in birth actually aid in making things “worse” in a way?? Like 1,000 years ago, moms and babies would die in childbirth for all sorts of reasons, some of which may have been narrow hips, malpositioning, large heads, health complications like pre-e etc. But now that we have modern medicine, these women and babies survive. And then go on to possibly have their own children and pass those same genetics down to the next generation. Which could also need medical intervention to successfully birth. Obviously I’m glad that we have medical intervention. Just a deep thought about how evolution fits into c-sections and other interventions.
From what I understand, it basically comes down to the Grinchmas Mode On Christmas Shirt so you should to go to store and get this large size of baby heads compared to the adult’s hips! Our large brains and heads have a cost- it makes giving birth to us particularly dangerous. But, being bipedal, our hips are a bit of a weird shape that our babies don’t especially like when coming out. I really wished people received better education on the very real risks and dangers of pregnancy; even with excellent medical care, it takes a huge toll on the body. In fact, bulldogs are said to experience a similar problem- their puppies have unusually large heads that the mothers struggle to pass, and if I recall correctly, most end up needing to be born by C-section! Yikes. Reproduction is just aiming for replacement, to be successful a woman only needs one child to survive, Femaile salmon lay millions of eggs for 1 to survive, female cats can have many litter for one to survive, female humans are actually doing ok percentage-wise. Science also makes us fitter. I know I wouldn’t be here without it.
I read an article on this. I can’t remember the Grinchmas Mode On Christmas Shirt so you should to go to store and get this exact words but it was something about our hips formed under the assumption we would walk on all fours instead of all twos? Except since despite all the hardships and people dying and the pain etc etc etc, we as a species are still not only able to give birth but our population continues to increase so evolution doesn’t change because it’s not a necessity according to our DNA. Honestly, once you go through the process, you truly wonder how the human race even made it this far or how there are this many people. Because we’re bipedal with big brains. The only way to solve this via evolution would be smaller brains and/or walking on all fours, and neither of those is good for the species. Yes. We evolved to walk upright, which resulted in developing a tighter birth canal through the human pelvis. That is combined with our relatively larger head making natural birth somewhat more dangerous than many other animals.
That said, births can be quite traumatizing in other animal species as well, so birth is pretty dangerous for more than just humans. We did. We evolved the Grinchmas Mode On Christmas Shirt so you should to go to store and get this ability to reason to the point where we are able to give birth in the presence of other humans who can intervene when a birth becomes high risk or other complications occur. I’m not saying this to be facetious. People seem to discount the fact that humans have pretty much hit the evolutionary jackpot by developing reasoning abilities over other “natural” adaptations. This is how we evolved, and it supercedes any other possible adaptation that “natural selection” could provide. Where is all this false reasoning coming from? Your thought process is way off. Look at child mortality rates. And mortality rates of women giving birth, in well developed countries. Not 3rd world. The science and theory of indoor plumbing development itself had a massive role to play in numbers of todays worldwide population. This really is an ignorant question and thread. 200 years ago half your kids died by 4 and mothers dying giving birth was extremely common. 100 years ago it was drastically reduced. Now extremely rare. Do your own research because you clearly don’t understand history or the human population. Also, one political party claims pro life unless you are a mother or baby. Everyone is pro life except serial killers. Dumbest thing ever. Pro life or pro death. Hmmmm. I’ll get back to you . Yeah right. Do your homework before asking questions that are spreading a false narrative.
lying on your back is not the Grinchmas Mode On Christmas Shirt so you should to go to store and get this best way to push a baby out. That’s the best way for a doctor to see what’s going on. It isn’t natural. doctors do not listen to women, and the not listening gets worse based on demographics. Women dying in childbirth is mostly and wholeheartedly preventable with science, like you said. Human birth can indeed be physically traumatic, and there are biological reasons behind it. The human pelvis has evolved to accommodate both walking upright and having a large brain, resulting in a narrower birth canal compared to other primates. Additionally, the size of the human newborn’s head relative to the birth canal poses challenges during childbirth. While modern medicine has reduced maternal mortality rates, childbirth remains complex due to these evolutionary constraints. Despite advancements, evolution is a slow process, and changes to ease childbirth may not have occurred due to other selective pressures. Since there’s nothing wrong with the process – i.e. mother and baby generally survive – there’s no incentive for it to change.
Which is why human babies are useless for years. They need to be born super early compared to other mammals otherwise their heads will be too big OB here: there are already a lot of physiologic adaptations to make it less risky to give birth but the Grinchmas Mode On Christmas Shirt so you should to go to store and get this top comment answered the core problem: we evolved every larger brains but the hard limit is going to be bony pelvic outlet of a bipedal animal. In obstetrics, the issue of cephalopelvic disproportion (CPD) and the interplay between gestational diabetes and shoulder dystocia really demonstrate this. From an evolutionary biology standpoint, women already have gynecoid pelvices, expand blood and plasma volume pre delivery, undergo renal and cardiac remodeling, and no longer the bicornuate uteruses of our distant litter-bearing past. These among other changes.
Evolution-wise it doesn’t matter how painful, traumatic and inefficient it is, as long as the Grinchmas Mode On Christmas Shirt so you should to go to store and get this kid survives to do it again. Nature doesn’t care about your feelings. That’s why you have a species of frog that can’t land a jump or a wild boar who’s tusks bore into their faces eventually. Usually the ones that have it worse just don’t get to reproduce and their species is made better for it. For humans, there is a very big biological advantage to giving birth to large babies. Big babies have a better chance of growing into healthy adults. There is also a huge advantage for having a large brain. Finally early humans enjoyed a huge advantage for having an upright posture which changed the shapes of the hips. Big babies with big brains combined with the type of hips made for upright walking meant that childbirth suddenly became much more traumatic and dangerous.
Evolution is all about math. It turns out that the Grinchmas Mode On Christmas Shirt so you should to go to store and get this number of people who died due to this traumatic childbirth were outmatched by the number of people who had a survival advantage from being born large with a large brain and having an upright posture. Because it works, evolution doesn’t just make stuff the nicest it can. If it works it works. Big heads for big brains and walking upright are two massive upsides for humans, those making birth harder is a light trade off. And also shingleback/ stumpytail lizards! Everyone’s talking about hyenas and kiwis, but no mention of the brave shingleback lizard yet And MANY other skinks get to similar levels with single or pairs of HUGE (for their size) eggs or less extremely sized live young that if we were to somehow translate their feelings into ones we could understand better, would not be far off if not on par with what human females feel during childbirth.
There’s a cut-away of a pregnant shingleback in a formaldehyde bottle in the Grinchmas Mode On Christmas Shirt so you should to go to store and get this city museum and I nearly cry looking at her every time. Brutal pregnancy. The idea of being pregnant with a 30-40 pound baby, having a body that is unable to expand to accomadate the baby so as it grows it crushes and compreses the organs including the lungs is so terrifying, human pregnancy looks like nothing in comparison. How this species remains so chill and unbothered in general temperament astounds me. We even keep them as pets, they’re that chill. Absolute champion of an animal. People are downvoting but the ability for humans to culturally adapt to challenges in their environment is considered an evolutionary trait. It’s partially why humans were able to migrate so extensively into new environments – we had the capacity to make clothes instead of letting our sparsely haired brothers and sisters die out completely when entering colder climates. You could argue our evolved ability to use tools progressed into modern medicine.
Birth isn’t meant to be “traumatic”. Unnecessarily high rates of medicalised interventions contribute to this trauma enormously. Low intervention, home birth, in water or squatting position results in a much more natural and less psychologically / physically damaging experience. A part of the Grinchmas Mode On Christmas Shirt so you should to go to store and get this problem is evolution & heredity. The female body is really designed to give birth to a 6-7lb baby. With maternal health being so much better, and food being readily available, baby’s are frequently now a healthy 10-12lbs. Sometimes too big for some women. BTW: Evolution is a VERY slow process. Given that the time between being born and (potentially) giving birth is approx. 15 years, and the number of generations it takes for evolution to do its thing, it would take many, many, years for evolution to have an impact.
In other cases, women just don’t get the Grinchmas Mode On Christmas Shirt so you should to go to store and get this healthcare they need. In the US, in many cases it’s because of a lack of health insurance. In others, believe it or not, it’s a lack of medical care because it’s not always available, having nothing to do with insurance or money. Another contributing factor is that the equipment for child birth care is designed for the healthcare provider, not the woman giving birth. Women are designed to give birth on their knees, not on their back. Women don’t die as much as you’d think. If it weren’t for modern medicine I would have died during all 3 of my deliveries, I think we’re doing pretty well. Also, it’s not as traumatic as you think either. You forget all about it fairly quick. Post partum depression also is not extremely common and most women whom experience it have a history of depression. It’s not. Not always. Birth is different for everyone. My mum gave birth to me standing up without any doctors or drugs and the labour took only an hour. She says it was much easier giving birth standing up than lying down. My brother was born in the bathtub and again on took a couple of hours. The water relieves a lot of the pressure of the birth. Films and TV have promoted the idea of screaming as normal as western doctors prefer women giving birth while lying/sitting on their backs which is the hardest and most uncomfortable (and dangerous) way to give birth. Also some people aren’t fit enough for a quick birth and it takes a lot longer and more effort/pain. Everyone is different but as an adult I now know a lot of women who did not have “traumatic” births for their children at all. It was effort but definitely not trauma.
We have very big brains, which require big heads. That have to be pushed out a much smaller opening which has to expand drastically to let the Grinchmas Mode On Christmas Shirt so you should to go to store and get this baby out. Evolution requires what we call “selection pressure” to make a change. While the mortality rate for childbirth is high, my guess is we’d need a lot of very specific mutations to reduce that. And, each step would require the new humans have a survival rate that is improved enough to give them enough of a reproductive advantage over time, that they would outbreed the humans without that mutation. It’s also why humans are the only animals that faint. We walk upright and our big brains use about 20% of our body’s entire energy supply. So, if our blood pressure drops, we can faint. We are actually going against evolution in this case. Human cranium sizes are getting bigger in part due to the rise of c-sections allowing for babies to be born that would not have been able to before modern medicine. This pattern will keep repeating since there is nothing that inhibits narrow hips or large craniums.
Keep in mind, having wide hips is one of those biological attractions for a man to a woman (just like smell or appearance); it’s instinct and primal precisely for this Grinchmas Mode On Christmas Shirt so you should to go to store and get this reason. Other animals also seem to have physically traumatic births, they just tend to hide it a lot better. We evolved to make it worse, I think, and not really sure why from an evolutionary standpoint. Evolution doesn’t care about better or worse, only what works. If a baby is successfully born, than that design is good enough We die a hell of a lot less than we used to. We hardly ever bleed out. Babies are premature and surviving. Babies are born surgically where as mothers would have died previously. And drugs!!!! Thanks be to God! Epidurals! Knock me out totally!
