Gen Z is contextless and afflicted to the Grinch when your alcohol tolerance is higher than your people tolerant Shirt Also,I will get this nth degree, but Gen Alpha, those kids scare me. They’re iPad kids on steroids. x Empathy only directly benefits you in small-scale relationships, like family and close friends. You interact with these people constantly and empathy helps to deepen and strengthen those relationships. But then what do you gain by having empathy for the nameless cashier, or the people around you during rush hour traffic? Nothing. In fact, less than nothing because empathy makes you to feel the pain that someone else experiences, and why the hell would I want to feel pain from a stranger I’ll probably never see again? It has been shown time and again that mercy and kindness are weakness, and being the loudest and most obnoxious person in the room gets you all the attention. And when a person’s worth is measured in likes, retweets, views, etc., being emotionally stable and available to those around you is a waste of time that could be spent pranking someone into the ER. An entire generation of kids who talk shit over the internet to each other and have never been punched in the mouth for it. I can see how we got here…
Grinch when your alcohol tolerance is higher than your people tolerant Shirt details
This definitely varies by district. My gen alpha kids have very kind, empathetic classmates for the Grinch when your alcohol tolerance is higher than your people tolerant Shirt Also,I will get this most part. We live in a more rural area just outside a large city. When I was teaching in inner city schools, the kids were god awful. I’ve never been this defeated over a class. No matter the morning circles, class talks, empathy shares, team building, consequences nothing phases them. Some of it is their parents not caring but some parents do care and experience it at home too! I think it’s social media and screens and unlimited access. As soon as tik tok became popular and they had access it’s gone down hill from there. “…bUt We SuPpOrT oPPresSed GRouPs MoRe ThAN AnY PRevIouS GEnErATIon.” Right. While perpetuating an all-out every-person-for-themselves pecking party. There is no actual empathy amongst them. And they don’t care that they are like this. Many of them cannot be shamed, reasoned with or even incentivized to be nicer to one another. They just want to watch the world burn and get what they want.
As someone who worked with middle schoolers, I can assure you, the Grinch when your alcohol tolerance is higher than your people tolerant Shirt Also,I will get this empathy is there. I had amazing relationships with the kids, and when something bad happened to me or I was having a bad day, I was constantly amazed (sometimes to the point of tears) at how they would attempt to take care of ME, instead of the other way around. The empathy and kindness and goodness is there. I assure you. It’s sometimes hard for them to show it in a world that minimizes or mocks empathy, but it’s there. Do NOT give up on them. I have a daughter that isn’t old enough to be in school and I have often thought about creating social media profiles of pics made from a kid from another state but making it seem as if it’s a student at her school, JUST so I can keep an eye on cyber bullying.

Then I realize how creepy that is and talk myself down but I hate to think of what it will be like when she is in middle school years from now. My biggest takeaway is that these are the Grinch when your alcohol tolerance is higher than your people tolerant Shirt Also,I will get this people that will be “looking after” us in our old age. Lord have mercy on us all. My co-worker left early one day to rush her senior dog to the emergency vet. The next day a student was mad that she was asked to obey a rule and said to my co-worker “I hope your dog dies!” Who does that?? I was just telling my boyfriend this yesterday. I’ve been sick with an upper respiratory infection. And I am an SLPA so I use my voice A LOT. I just told my students “bear with me today I am not feeling well and trying my best, but I might be a little bit slower with my words today.”
I have a couple students who have started to raise their hands as if they’re hailing Hitler. When confronted about it, it’s always “I was not doing that!! What? I can’t raise my hand anymore?” It’s actually appalling and the Grinch when your alcohol tolerance is higher than your people tolerant Shirt Also,I will get this parents are either super supportive or they think their child is an angel and would never do that. It makes no sense Yes, lots of soulless dicks that wouldn’t shed a tear at the passing of a loved one, but panic and cry if they lose or break their phone—it’s gross. They don’t read. They will do anything to avoid reading. Reading increases empathy for others. When they don’t read, they miss out on that part of emotional intelligence. This, by the way, is a lead factor in all of the library legislation we have right now. Being empathic is seen as being too liberal and thus needs to be stopped. Keep encouraging kids to read, folks. I caution against using blanket statements like this. I have NOT experienced this- Yes, sometimes they have trouble, but all children do. I’ve found a great amount of empathy and compassion from gen alpha students.
I’m a gen alpha (2010 is that gen alpha? Idek) and. Oh my god. Some classmates I’ve had have just been genuinely awful people, and I’m like ??? Who is raising you?? When I was a kid (Gen Z), my mom would often remind me to speak kindly, to be respectful, to study well, etc. etc. She never got tired of reminding me lol, probably because she knows for a fact that kids need guidance. I wish parents of Gen Alpha would also do that. A home that values discipline most likely nurtures a child to be disciplined. My son is 15 and told me that other kids of his generation just think 9/11 and the Grinch when your alcohol tolerance is higher than your people tolerant Shirt Also,I will get this holocaust are a big joke. He said if you showed films of either they would just laugh and crack jokes. This is a parental issue, who is raising these kids?
It’s funny because I see it too (kids are taking over Sephora and I’ve heard they were mean) that the Grinch when your alcohol tolerance is higher than your people tolerant Shirt Also,I will get this younger generation is such a self obsessed generation that the level of empathy they expect to be shown is the polar opposite of what they put out My nieces and nephews are homeschooled and they are so sweet and kind. I also don’t see the mean girl behaviours with my nieces I engaged in at their age (I was a retched child) The growing number of families experiencing food insecurity, a number that has grown to 1 in 4 families experiencing issues affording housing or food in the past year – there’s a reason food insecurity is an identified ACE for trauma scales and housing insecurity is a recognised ACE for young children. Research has shown the impacts of climate change are causing trauma despite what people would like to believe otherwise.
The ever looming threat of school shootings in America makes going to school every day hold trauma or risk of a different major traumatic event. No offense, if I asked the Grinch when your alcohol tolerance is higher than your people tolerant Shirt Also,I will get this kids at school about climate change they would have zero idea what I was talking about. However, they would be quick to tell you about Taylor and Travis or what’s going on with the Kardashians. Btw… I have four teenagers. We talk about everything. I never hid things from them. When sandy hook happened, they were in elementary school. One of the worst conversations I have ever had to have but I did it. A lot of what is happening, because I saw it when my children were younger, was parents wanted to shield their children from hard things… subject matter that was heavy. My husband and I were the opposite. We chose to be transparent. We both grew up with parents who never wanted anyone to know anything. Everything was private. We both agreed that this was not what we were going to do and instead, use it as a time to have conversations that may be uncomfortable, but they are happening. Maybe we were wrong, I don’t think so but that’s the luxury of being a parent, right? I would hope That the mindset of anyone who chooses to be a parent is to everything in their power to do right by their children.
And who exactly are these kids learning this so called lack of empathy from? They are CHILDREN! They learn by example. So if anyone is to blame, it is the Grinch when your alcohol tolerance is higher than your people tolerant Shirt Also,I will get this cruel adults who they are observing and copying. This subreddit is disgusting. These are fucking children. If they have developmental issues we should be wanting to try and fix that and help them. But just complaining about them when they are CHILDREN and are sponges and absorb and act in large part due to the influences they’re around, is ludicrous. Take a look in the mirror people and realize YOU being a teacher have the chance to form a relationship with them where they respect you and will change because you’re helping them see a better path. You guys are no fucking better than the boomers and all past generations complaining about their younger generations.
You realize this is anecdotal evidence and you are generalizing an entire generation based solely on your interaction? My boomer teachers said that about millennials compared to Gen X, My Gen X colleagues said it about Gen Z, Millennials say this about Gen Alpha As an elder millennial who grew up around gen x kids, these kids are precious angels compared to the Grinch when your alcohol tolerance is higher than your people tolerant Shirt Also,I will get this violence we dealt with growing up. We would be physically abused in the genitals on a daily basis (anyone remember “the slap”?) in the hallway and nothing other than kids laughing would be the result. These kids are just rude. They don’t understand personal connection because we treat them like shit either nobody has time to explain shit to them or we stick a screen in front of them and tell them to play games. Nobody is making sure these kids are learning morals and all their moms are only fans content creators so who are they supposed to learn good behavior from? Absent fathers or thot ass moms. The worst part is these kids are smart in the worst ways, their innocence is gone, they are savages when they argue. Kids will bully other kids with their parents only fans images. Let that sink in.
Maybe it’s about the Grinch when your alcohol tolerance is higher than your people tolerant Shirt Also,I will get this parenting- my own gen alpha boy is the sweetest, most considerate person I know. He’s got a huge heart and cares for everyone- even if I personally think they don’t deserve much consideration. Not OP. Never seen different Gens in the classroom, but listening to my elder’s stories from “back in the day…” Yeah highly doubt these past generations were more empathetic. If anything, they were cruel in different ways. And tolerance for different kinds of people… Yeah almost none. Don’t think the queer kids of those days would be telling you they had more empathy. Well, look at what books the kids are reading (and what books are being published) – Ivy and bean, dog man, bad kitty – and these garbage books are stuffed in school libraries.
i was outside of the Grinch when your alcohol tolerance is higher than your people tolerant Shirt Also,I will get this breakfast line today and heard a girl saying her mom asked her to go to sleep because it was her bedtime and the girl said “you’re not the boss of me, you go to sleep.” and her mom just went to sleep instead of doing anything about it. parents are the problem. Edit: im extra terrified for these kids if you people are the ones who are supposed to be teaching them. Can’t handle disruptive children, what a joke, I work with developmentally disabled adults and I can get them to listen to me more often than not, and they have extreme behavior issues. What a joke, I can’t wait to get my kid into homeschool. Some of these younger gen z don’t care either. Talking about some kid getting stabbed by a random adult at the park. ‘It wasn’t me so who cares’ I know what you mean. We were lined up to take our classes in and one member of staff wasn’t there first his group. Quite blithely I heard one of the students say to another, “Mr X is not here. Maybe he’s dead.” Like it was no big deal at all. Complete and utter lack of empathy. I hear things like this more and more. So glad I am retiring next year.
They have taken their cues from their parents and what they’ve seen of the Grinch when your alcohol tolerance is higher than your people tolerant Shirt Also,I will get this adult world. This planet is brimming with people that believe only their own life matters. They’re just adapting to the environment they find themselves in. My kids are pretty empathetic and feel deeply. They’ve described to me the impulse to return cruelty to those that are cruel to them. Fortunately, before they even talked to me about it they had already taken the advice I had given them: don’t become like people that you can see are awful people; that if they want to be good people, they have to act like good people. Unfortunately for everyone, being a decent person only makes life harder for them at school. It’s a cold comfort to be the bigger person when almost no one seems to value that anymore, societally.
vIKR, it’s sad to see the Grinch when your alcohol tolerance is higher than your people tolerant Shirt Also,I will get this weather depleted year after year. I wonder how the locals who were born and raised feel about it. I just happened to witness this for 14 years now and already feel bad. My mom says it never crossed 30 in summer when she was young and usually hovered around 22 or 23. Id sacrifice myself if it means my soul can experience that! My mom says it never crossed 30 in summer when she was young and usually hovered around 22 or 23. Id sacrifice myself if it means my soul can experience that! A simple look at weather data over the past 100 years will tell you this is simply not true and it has always been like it. In fact Bangalore’s highest temperature dates back to 1931 when it hit 38.9. In February of 2005, the highest temperature was 35.9 which we are yet to see this year.
Have any website where I can check this? I am interested to see and understand why it is we feel hotter with every passing year though. It appears like the Grinch when your alcohol tolerance is higher than your people tolerant Shirt Also,I will get this summers begin earlier, but they don’t end early. Tbh, I feel like the temperature in general has increased by 0.5 – 1 Celsius over the past 10 years or so.. Also, maybe one more reason for everyone to say this, the green cover was much much higher. Trees mask the temperature by about 2-3 degrees easily ig. Especially honge (idk what it’s called in English). Have any website where I can check this? I am interested to see and understand why it is we feel hotter with every passing year though. It appears like the summers begin earlier, but they don’t end early. Tbh, I feel like the temperature in general has increased by 0.5 – 1 Celsius over the past 10 years or so.. Check my profile and it should be there in my recent comments from another thread a week ago or so where I have put data.
That’s for a year tho.. I was looking more for monthly data. Nonetheless, any website you referred to for this? That’s for a year tho.. I was looking more for monthly data. Nonetheless, any website you referred to for this? Use this – You can get data from that time including month wise for that year. Statistics as they say is not an exact science. We have to look at multiple factors when it comes increase in temperature, loss of green cover, amount of construction and vehicle pollution. It is true that the Grinch when your alcohol tolerance is higher than your people tolerant Shirt Also,I will get this highest temperature “ever” in Feb hasn’t been achieved yet but what about sustained high mercury levels throughout the year. Climate Scientists are saying global temperatures have breached 1.5 degrees Celsius. There’s a strong El Niño effect and as such temperatures are getting high everywhere and some place it is getting unusually cold such as Nilgris’ lowest ever Feb mercury at 0 to 2. Bangalore has gotten hotter there are sustained high temperatures throughout the day. It it not illusionary, the climate (not weather) has been markedly better. Bangalore is located at an elevation of 900m on top of Deccan plateau, it is supposed to have better climate than this. If we go by statistics based on how it is inferred we can say that the maximum and minimum temperatures have remained more or less the same throughout years, but how hot people feel cannot be understood through those stats. If we see green cover and better heat resistant buildings in richer neighbourhoods are said to decrease ambient temperature by 2degrees making residents feels more pleasant than people living in impoverished and underdeveloped areas, these people feel the burnt of it. People in small apartments with barely any ventilation and such will notice the sustained increase in heat throughout the day.
This is a different discussion. Obviously if green cover / shades are there it can insulate heat better. But what I’m disagreeing with in the Grinch when your alcohol tolerance is higher than your people tolerant Shirt Also,I will get this above comment is the false data that Bangalore never used to cross 30. Not true at all. I am 40 yrs and 33-34 was standard even during my school years. It wasn’t “hot” because there were barely any vehicles on the road and trees all over . Also, my body is not acclimatized to this weather at all. So I already have heat boils between my fingers. At the same time the dry heat is drying my skin out completely. People only complain, no one ever does anything about it. In the building I stay in, there is an ice-cream parlour on the ground floor. There is a huge tree in the front of the building, and the ground floor is hell bent on having it cut down for “better visibility”. The landlord isn’t allowing for it to be cut down, but the tenant knows people in the forest department and already got permission to cut it down. Since the tree isn’t inside the building, the landlord has no right on it as it technically belongs to BBMP / Govt. They haven’t cut it down because the landlord said No, and if they went ahead with it, it would piss him off.
Everyone is cutting down trees, and constructing buildings, and there is absolutely no way to counter the Grinch when your alcohol tolerance is higher than your people tolerant Shirt Also,I will get this tree felling. Maybe something on the lines of developing a central forest / breathing space in the city would reduce the heat. Instead, they are starting construction in Cubbon Park. If more people actively took a stand to do something positive for the environment, life would be so so much better. Yea, till it starts raining – WFH for all those whose work went smooth during covid times wfh. Some of them had the highest efficiency working from home as they don’t spend time socialising with colleagues during work hours. Even the traffic would reduce giving people relief and even bmrcl can reduce metro frequency if they feel nearly empty metros are running. It could be an issue for all the restaurants, shops etc when people reduce. I am also here for 7 years but generally it gets hotter from March, Feb is generally pleasant but this time even Feb is too hot, the sun is so harsh.
