Yeah, it’s a very grey area in my opinion. I can definitely sympathize with the Got What I Wanted For Christmas Trump Xmas Pajamas 2024 T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this whole struggling financially part since I’ve done through it myself but solely being used as a financial safety pillar for somebody else doesn’t sound too swell either (if they no longer love me but I still love them, that is). it’s too dangerous. most people can’t live without the next paycheck. the system has been designed for this outcome. By having at least a good decade of more targeted industry strikes so that a meaningful labor movement actually exists lmao. Yeah, that’s not what anyone wants to hear, but you’re not going to go back to the way the labor movement was a century ago overnight. People are still deeply ignorant about a lot that people back then took for granted. Modern society collectively needs to rediscover those truths and then act on them. “This just in, a nationwide strike is going around that is said to last 6 months until states and jobs raise there hourly pays, states such as Texas with wages at 7.25 are imposed with the most populated strikes to impose wages be set at an astounding 20 an hour, whereas states such as California have it worse with mass strikes, what will this mean for the job market across the country, only time will tell. Joyce has the weather for you up next after this commercial break”
Got What I Wanted For Christmas Trump Xmas Pajamas 2024 T-Shirt: get your shirt now
Fortunatelly here in Germany we are protected against being fired on a whim. Not only its hard to fire someone, but you get to work and be fully paid for 3 months after you get fired. And if you get laid off not because of your own fault, you get paid like 60% by gov for even longer (think up to a year, my friend has this happening right now). I used to love doing research till I realised that I could be spending my entire life doing it and writing papers but having very little reward! I don’t dream of labor, the Got What I Wanted For Christmas Trump Xmas Pajamas 2024 T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this fact that my workplace doesn’t give yearly raise and I have to ASK for it. Sickening When will people realize it’s a bad idea to go into major debt for a useless degree and not pursue internships during college? You realize 100k plus people graduate every year with the same degree as you and you’ve done nothing to separate yourself from the crowd? Yup. Part of the problem is the internet making it so easy to sign up for recurring purchases that we forget about. No this is not an ad for an app that helps with that. It might be nice if financial institutions could help with that though. Wages all need to raise imo. Texas is 7.25 where houses are cheap in the area but you’d need at least 15+ to make a living. Laugh all you want, but there is a reason why sex workers make a living wage off of the content they create. As a retired sex worker, I’d also probably go back to it.
I don’t get this, every week here is your paycheck… You get Money once a month and you have to plan with that, and if you do it right, there is money left to safe. If you do everything right and there is still no money left, change the Got What I Wanted For Christmas Trump Xmas Pajamas 2024 T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this job… Just so everything in you power to change that, your life, your decisions. Nobody has ever wanted to work. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be work, it would be fun. Work is work. We just do it because it’s the only way we can eat and survive. That’s how it’s been since the dawn of man and it is our reality. The trick is, not sleeping on the street is your reward for working. That’s all it takes for you to not really have much of a choice Wages all need to raise imo. Texas is 7.25 where houses are cheap in the area but you’d need at least 15+ to make a living.
Description for Got What I Wanted For Christmas Trump Xmas Pajamas 2024 T-Shirt
Came to the Got What I Wanted For Christmas Trump Xmas Pajamas 2024 T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this US to pursue master’s degree in Data field by taking loan of almost 65k$. Now there’s layoffs everywhere. The field that’s making headlines everyday AI, don’t even have jobs. Literally doing 100s of job applications in a week and not even getting a single interview call. We are all fucked! There has to be incentive on both sides, too far capitalist and too far socialist isn’t optimal because you are killing incentive. Where we are now is killing incentive for people at the bottom because it would take a life changing lick to significantly change their standard of living Point I’m getting at saving the spare change from your W2 alone isn’t going to impact the big picture for most people. We just have to keep this up until we can’t anymore. Maybe we’ll just get too old to work, maybe we’ll succumb to a treatable medical condition because we either can’t afford treatment or can’t rest enough to get well, or maybe this economy will reach a point where no amount of work can cover the basic costs of living, so those of us who draw the line at paying our entire income to sleep in someone’s bathtub with three other broke people will simple have no place to live. Thankfully after my husband and I struggled for 6-7 years we aren’t paycheck to paycheck anymore. We perpetually only had $500 combined and were always worried about finances. And this is the main reason we won’t have kids. We are 29F and 33M, and both our families are pushing the idea of kids down our throats. But if we had 2 young kids, we’d be right back to paycheck to paycheck. It sucks this is the world we live in.
Honestly the Got What I Wanted For Christmas Trump Xmas Pajamas 2024 T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this thing I hate is that the most community-oriented jobs are being squeezed so that people feel they have to land these shitty corporate jobs that ultimately funnel capital back into the hands of the 1%. And the strikes that keep happening seem almost counterproductive because they secure well-earned benefits and wage gains for a specific sector, but when the system is this rigged, that cost just gets pushed back onto consumers. But company and industry-specific strikes are better than no strikes at all. There honestly does need to be a general strike, but strikes never happen like in the movies. People don’t suddenly walk out of grocery stores and cubicles and congregate in the middle of the street. It takes strategy, organization, mobility and money. And the people whose rights are being denied the most don’t often have the time, resources or leftover energy to do this. We need to win communal spaces back, talk across the party, class and cultural barriers that politicians benefit so much from, and strategize. There are already amazing people and organizations doing this, and I’m sure they would love the help.
and this against the Got What I Wanted For Christmas Trump Xmas Pajamas 2024 T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this background of continuous technological advancement that should be making our lives easier and allowing us to work less 106 more repliesI don’t get paid enough and I’m still being expected to work harder. I get stressed and just sleep. My job is what my family wanted. Wanted to be an artist or actress or even a writer. Got highly discouraged due to salary not being high enough. But I saw content writers younger than me become successful. I can’t help feeling jealous. I can’t even get work. I’ve been out of school for almost five years and have been trying since I was 16, and nothing. It’s so difficult to get a job This is reality for me. I also feel like grocery prices have gone up like 20-40% and our wage just got a raise after long, dramatic union negotiations.. Whopping 6% increase divided in two years period, so every half a year 1.5%.
I mean maybe I could have maintained a rather decent lifestyle with healthy food and all with like 8-11% raise immediately, but now I just buying the Got What I Wanted For Christmas Trump Xmas Pajamas 2024 T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this most important necessities (well weed too), still living paycheck to paycheck. Yeah, I’m not living like that and I make very little. These people are making bad financial decisions and justifying everything by screaming ‘capitalism is bad’. boo hoo. do better. It makes me so salty my cousins just married old ass fat men and now never have to work a single day in their lives they just fuckin do whatever living off their husbands who are older than their own father 😒 The paycheck is your reward. Did you think life was free? Or maybe everyone else has to work so you can live off benefits, that’s it?
I’m brought to this world without any consent, because life is a precious gift and actually when i hit 20 you actually have to pay for the Got What I Wanted For Christmas Trump Xmas Pajamas 2024 T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this gift of being born which you never chose in the first place, every day of your life, 10 hours a day, no fun, no time, no side money, while others condescending piece of garbage have the leash and don’t have to lift a finger to get their lil millions and call that bs work. I still do enjoy life, but don’t talk about paycheck as reward. It’s a necessity for the vast majority, not some fancy casino game. Life shouldn’t have to be earned, it has to be secured by the reasonable and equitable work of everybody in society. And right now, we are far from living in a reasonable world.
and just under half those people, think voting for a billionaire shitting on a golden toilet who defrauds charities and the Got What I Wanted For Christmas Trump Xmas Pajamas 2024 T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this government and sells NFTs is the answer even though he and all conservatives espouse “trickle down economics” which literally destroyed the middle class and is the reason we’re here Your 401k contribution is fucking negligible if your money is that tight that you can’t make a 401k contribution and distribute it to a good mix of funds then you have a shit job or you’re soending outside of your means and that’s your fault. I’ve always had hope in the American dream. But to be honest that dream has turned into a hurdle of nightmares. One thing I’ve noticed in my field of work is that people flock to it thinking it’s all sunshine and rainbows when in reality everyone in the business is one run away from not covering bills. Yes I’m glad that people are coming to the same job I do but at the same time they work for companies that get by on paying people absolute trash. Coming from someone who makes what most people consider a great paycheck.. I’m still living paycheck to paycheck and just hoping to stay afloat so I don’t lose the things I’ve worked for so far.
No one has ever wanted to work. Ever. You give anyone enough money that they don’t have to work, and they won’t. People half ass their life into adulthood and expect to live a comfortable life. Idiots living life on autopilot deserve whatever comes to them. I worked as hard as I could, did the Got What I Wanted For Christmas Trump Xmas Pajamas 2024 T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this best of my ability, exceeded goals, kept an entire shift on track for years. More work, less help, no chance for promotions, capped pay, the company took away paid holidays and bonuses for increased pay rates for non-topped out employees, (which I was already above so I got 2%). I broke down, lost my nerve, yelled and begged for help. And then I was fired not long afterward after additional breakdowns and using the company mental health resources. If you want to save don’t keep your money in a system that gets devalued and manipulated with over time like USD or any fiat currency But I had to learn the very hard way that loyalty means shit. So I won’t show more loyalty than needed anymore. Here’s the neat part, it’s all working as intended. You have enough money to spend it, but not so much money that you aren’t scared of losing your job, meaning you’ll put up with more shit and higher expectations in the name of keeping ahold of your human rights.
The paycheck isn’t that rewarding even if it’s enough to get by it doesn’t make me want to work any more than I already do. Besides the Got What I Wanted For Christmas Trump Xmas Pajamas 2024 T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this fact that I wouldn’t work at all if there was no paycheck. I just want to enjoy and feel pride in my work Alice… She’ll fit right nice in my shanty town on the streets. She’ll be my disenchanted/tragic mascot, (ala Tim Burton, Adams family, etc) I love getting up early, being productive, creating value, using my hands and having some problem-solving task for the day. Ive been working a job that requires high school education only. Making 150/yr +benefits and pension. Bought a cheap condo a few years after starting and had it paid off in 5 years. Now my total fixed costs are roughly 1200/mo +food and gas and I am able to save 2500/mo and do whatever I want for the most part.
Yet people I work with struggle to get paycheck to paycheck because they bought a big detach house and brand new trucks and blow money on pointless things. Living paycheck to paycheck doesn’t always mean you don’t make enough, sometimes people just aren’t responsible with their money. I don’t have certifications or qualifications on paper but I have 20 years of working experience in multiple fields and leadership roles also. I applied for a higher paying job with a branch of the Got What I Wanted For Christmas Trump Xmas Pajamas 2024 T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this Australian government that was advertised to the public but get knocked back and the reason was they chose to shuffle their internal staff in to those positions. I get why and it makes sense, but why advertise to the general public? Next I ask how do I apply for an entry level position which requires no certifications and any drop kick with a pulse can do? They said apply at their website, I did, then I got a rejection letter within one day saying “Sorry you are not qualified for this role.” The role requirements was pretty much: The answer was yes to all but that wasn’t enough apparently. I spoke to a mate a year later and they said the recruitment teams were known for nepotism and would only call in their family and friends or anyone from their homelands. The recruitment teams were mostly migrants who had been in the country for years and were in the selection panels for applicants.
They would get complaints all the Got What I Wanted For Christmas Trump Xmas Pajamas 2024 T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this time but rarely anything would be done about it, only the most obvious cases were investigated like someone tried to get a senior manager job (about $100,000 plus a year) to a family member overseas who had no visa or residency in Australia, no certification for the job, no experience and only spoke Nepalese. The person was fired and the job was handled by a different selection panel, but most of the people helping to get the job for the wrong person are still working there. The pandemic made people realize two things. First that employers have less than no loyalty to there people, and secondly that, you can make well more than the equivalent of most wages by just hustling random shit on the internet. I would 1000% rather scrape by selling random thrift store shit on Facebook marketplace than sell my hours for like 80 bucks. It just doesn’t make sense anymore
My renter pays $1,1000 for rent, and the Got What I Wanted For Christmas Trump Xmas Pajamas 2024 T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this government gives him almost $3k a month for the past 3+ years. I work full-time and take home $4k. -_- If you are two paychecks away from being homeless. Your reward is not being homeless. Try to self improve and get a better paying job. After all 50% of people are not living 2 paychecks away from being homeless. Me: cool, are we talking about police officers? No? Oh, landlords then? Congress? Whose important job that’s being neglected are you complaining the hardest about? All true except, I love my job, I get a lot of satisfaction from it, but outside of my work, I don’t do much these days, feels pointless, and then yes the rest follows yeah if you are an ungrateful spoilled useless stunad without any marketable skills, then yeah you’ll have a hard time Thats how the people in power want it. They managed to do a full 180 back to the system where workers accept almost anything because they lack alternatives Also, no, many people won´t get 3 months after work payment. There is a thing called “befristeter Vertrag”. If you have one your boss is not required to pay yo after the date on the contract. Many abuse this system. Also, not everyone can get the free Bürgergeld from the state if they are jobless. Those who can get a lot for free. But for example you cannot get it if you go to college.
Just last week I got the Got What I Wanted For Christmas Trump Xmas Pajamas 2024 T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this bus after work – I had a bunch of my stuff with me because I was moving into a new place and going straight there after work. An older woman (I’d guess early 70’s) was also waiting for the bus. She asked why I had so much stuff so I told her my boyfriend and I (30 and 31 years old) were moving closer to the city. She asked if we’d found a place of our own, I said no, we’ll be sharing with a other couple (only thing we can afford in this city). She shook her head and said “you young people, none of you want independence, to live alone and buy your own place, you’re all so happy to rent”. Except that I DO want to work. I need that pay check. 3 1/2 months looking. 20-25 jobs applied for. 3 interviews. 1 said they’d have me back for a second and ghosted me. 1 had me back for a second and then had the decency to call me and let me know I was unsuccessful. The third hasn’t even done that.
Not to mention that living alone is basically not viable on minimum wage, even in the Got What I Wanted For Christmas Trump Xmas Pajamas 2024 T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this smallest and cheapest of apartments. There is a reason Auschwitz’s concentration camp entrance sign read “ Work will set you free”. The Germans knew shit work is for slaves. I want to work but in a world where it makes sense to work. So many hours I can’t take care of myself, my family and my home…that doesn’t make sense. So little money I can’t afford to take care of myself, my family and my home…that doesn’t make sense. It doesn’t even make sense for businesses to operate that way. Businesses rely on people having the disposable income and time to go and buy their products. They must think their customers are like Schroedingers immigrant, somehow massively independently wealthy and time rich…in the economy and work life they are running into the ground, stamping on and stabbing just to be sure they’ve truly killed it.
If you don’t have a good paying job then it’s crap. Your money just doesn’t go far and seems to continually getting you less.
I suspect a similar proportion of young women will leave red states with strict abortion bans. The implications of this are dire for those states. We are in the Got What I Wanted For Christmas Trump Xmas Pajamas 2024 T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this college search right now, not a chance in hell I’m sending my daughter to a red state. I’m curious to see if there’s a demographic shift of incoming freshman, because I can’t be the only one. You are far from the only one. This also means that all the higher education institutions in these states are going to become much worse, as both female students and faculty flee. Highly recommend making sure she has a stash of Plan B and a round of abortion pills when she goes- not just for her but any friends who might need it. I have friends with daughters looking at universities right now and they are avoiding red states for this very reason. In Delft: it’s just fine. However, the difference is that Delft is a Dutch college city, and the trend is that more women and non-binary people flock to the university, slowly, but definitely noticeable. Something I can’t say about the state of Idaho. Also, the Netherlands is wildly different in terms of population distribution compared to somewhere like Idaho. Even if Delft is bereft of dating prospects, you can still reach Leiden, Amsterdam, and the Hague by train in an hour. In Idaho, the nearest city might be twice or thrice that travel time, over mountainous terrain that you have to navigate yourself. All women are honestly safer elsewhere. This has implications beyond obstetrics, the gynecological services will be few and far between. The social determinants of health will not favor women in this state.
