“One day you will wake up, put on some clothes, brush your teeth, get in your car and go to work. And then you will realize, that you havent thought about it all day, thats when it gets easier, when you learn you can move on” There really isnt a 100% way to completly get over a loss, but we can learn to live beside it, and keep living for the God First Family Second Then Chiefs Kingdom Kelce Mahomes Kc Wolf Jones Shirt Also,I will get this ones that we have lost. You don’t. You learn to live life whitout. But it’s a continuous feeling you have to managed and some days are good or others bad. Be gentle on yourself. One thing that helped me was whenever I got upset over losing my cat I would try and feel grateful for the memory instead of feeling sad over the loss. I don’t know what to say other than I understand exactly how you feel. One of my cats died suddenly from a urinary tract obstruction. It happened so fast. I was devastated. I still am, but it has now been a year, and I think I am transitioning from devastated to just sad – which I will always be. So I think it gets better over time, but some people, like me, never totally get over it. I’ve had 3 dogs and 3 cats that have died in my life. I miss them all so much. Most people are polite about this kind of issue, but I suspect they don’t understand, at all. But there are people who do understand….I am one….the saddest abates over time, but my experience is it lingers forever. But that is how it works with human emotions when it comes to loss, whether it is human or an animal companion. Hang in there. Someday soon your thoughts will transition to fond memories….. with some sadness….but it gets better.
God First Family Second Then Chiefs Kingdom Kelce Mahomes Kc Wolf Jones Shirt details
I just lost my aunt in January.then yesterday I had to put my nine year old bunny down yesterday. She had a sister who died two years earlier .Its devastating.I feel alone and more depressed.Im in therapy don’t want it this week.I just feel like I’m checked out .Ots hard but one day at at a time It’s always with you, but it somehow gets more bearable. You grow stronger and more resilient with time (I’m a younger widow). I understand you. My furry soulmate died almost two years ago (2/21/22) and there’s a gaping hole in the God First Family Second Then Chiefs Kingdom Kelce Mahomes Kc Wolf Jones Shirt Also,I will get this pit of my soul. At first, I felt like I was going to die. I had a few weeks of weird apathy where every waking thought was filled with “I’m glad humans can die at any point, if it happens to me I’ll be able to see him again”. I’ve come to learn that you don’t ever get over it. It’s not a thing when you love someone. It took me a while to feel normal, to not see his face everywhere. My brother found a kitten outside his school in July of last year and we took her in as a “foster”. Having a new kitty really brought some light into our house, I love her so much.
Now that we’re coming up on the God First Family Second Then Chiefs Kingdom Kelce Mahomes Kc Wolf Jones Shirt Also,I will get this two year anniversary of his death, I’m thinking about him a lot. The pain is still there, but there’s happiness in his memories again. I smile more often than not when I think of him. The only thing that can get you there is time. Time and therapy if you need it. Fill your life with distractions until time heals you bette. It’ll still sting when they come to mind but you might find it less shocking in future, in the sense that you might have processed things a bit by then Go get your next cat. I know it seems counter intuitive and you want to honor & mourn the irreplaceable little love who has left your world too soon…but it will help you heal and feel less alone. the first time I had a cat die as an adult (my sweet Pepper RIP), it wrecked me. I almost lost my job & my marriage was in very bad shape because I couldn’t move past the grief and guilt. 1 year later I got Mr. Johnnie and realized I should’ve done that much sooner for my mental health. Good luck Don’t hold it in, don’t bottle it up and ignore it, yell or talk to someone , the best way to get over it is with someone else, don’t make the same mistake I did

I just put on some melancholic new age piano music (Olafur Arnalds and Joep Beving mainly) and I have a good crying session. I just let it all out until I feel better, and then I move on with my life and keep myself busy. When the God First Family Second Then Chiefs Kingdom Kelce Mahomes Kc Wolf Jones Shirt Also,I will get this thought spins through my head again I take another moment to cry it out. I also think it helps that I don’t have a bad relationship with death and view it as something neutral. I believe they’re at peace. Also I can really embrace feeling sad and I don’t view it as something negative. Being sad can be a good feeling actually. Just accept your emotions and it won’t feel nearly as overwhelming or painful to experience these emotions. It’s a human response and it’s okay to feel sad.
You never truly get over a loss, you just learn to get through it. Day by day, week by week, it gets easier, and eventually, it doesn’t hurt quite so much when you remember them.
We don’t use EEGs as a way to measure brain activity for a traumatic brain injury. It can be useful as an ancillary test but a good neurologist can tell plenty about brain activity by doing a neurological bedside exam while the God First Family Second Then Chiefs Kingdom Kelce Mahomes Kc Wolf Jones Shirt Also,I will get this patient is off sedation. The interesting thing is that a lot of what’s alleged about Gage’s changes in personality are either overstated or unsubstantiated. So there’s something to hope for in both the tenacity of the human brain and modern developments in neuroscience. The wound became infected, and Phineas was anemic and remained semicomatose for more than two weeks. He also developed a fungal infection in the exposed brain that needed to be surgically removed. His condition slowly improved after doses of calomel (mercury chloride) and beaver oil.
Wouldn’t it be a “natural” flavor? It’s produced through mechanical extraction, which I thought was the God First Family Second Then Chiefs Kingdom Kelce Mahomes Kc Wolf Jones Shirt Also,I will get this dividing line between “artificial” (simulating a natural flavor through chemistry) and “natural.” It is natural, I misspoke above when I said artificial. It is indeed considered by the fda as a “natural ingredient”. You see that guy with a massive brain injury? Yeah, let’s just squeeze this beavers’ ass juice on the exposed brain and see what happens. Wanna know what’s worse? It’s used in food products today, like artificial vanilla flavoring, some gelatins, some artificial sweeteners, other assorted dairy, bakery, and meat items.. oh and raspberry flavoring. So yeah… Personally I would rather put beaver ass juice on my food than apply it to my exposed brain, but to each their own. Calomel and beaver oil, that’ll cure what ails ya, and in the case of calomel, probably kill you by mercury poisoning before what ails ya. It’s reasonable to assume.that he had a marked personality change. Think about what we do know about modern studies of people who have TBI. And I’m sure he had massive emotional trauma as well as physical trauma. My SO got in a severe car crash when she was 14, was in a coma for 2 years, doctors didn’t think she was going to make it, the other 2 people in the car died, but she did make it, she has a TBI, she gets very grumpy when she’s tired, but she’s more educated than me,
Bruh that post-TBI rage is no joke. So few people understand how common of a symptom that is with that type of injury and it sucks for everyone involved. It has to do with broken neurons related to impulse control and emotional regulation. So glad there are medications and therapy that help with it nowadays. The interview/press conference right after that happened he had that idiotic shit eating grin of his through every question. I get that he has his persona to keep up but come on, you can’t even fake remorse for a few minutes? Or is it because he’s had so much cosmetic surgery he’s now incapable of a frown???? Judging from his nasty wrinkles just below his eyes and then perfectly wrinkle free forehead, I think cosmetic surgery and loads of Botox is a large contributor. This douchebag is the God First Family Second Then Chiefs Kingdom Kelce Mahomes Kc Wolf Jones Shirt Also,I will get this walking epitome of Botox. I’m unfortunate enough to live in the Houston area for a few more years and he is consistently on tv. Not sure how well known it is outside of the local area but they were doing construction on the church a year or two ago (time is moving to fast for me know keep up anymore) but they found money hidden in the walls. …he hides money in the walls.
We lived in Houston for a few years and everyone I met hated him and his stupid church. I absolutely can not understand how such a seemingly universally reviled organization could have enough people flocking to it to mess up traffic for the God First Family Second Then Chiefs Kingdom Kelce Mahomes Kc Wolf Jones Shirt Also,I will get this whole dang side of the city Sunday mornings. This was right around the time he refused to open his ridiculous mega church building to hurricane/flooding victims who needed shelter. Meanwhile Mattress Mack was out there just handing out phone chargers, and inviting people to his showrooms to shelter like an BOSS. The fact that his grandparents were trying so hard to get custody, and had a hearing set for May, is so incredibly sad. The family court system doesn’t move fast enough. Poor kid.
Yeah family court was the God First Family Second Then Chiefs Kingdom Kelce Mahomes Kc Wolf Jones Shirt Also,I will get this issue, not the multiple calls for threatening people that should have gotten her guns taken away. Ffs, in this case it really was the guns. I was talking about the kid, and just the kid, here. The family court system moved too slow in getting him away from his mentally ill parent/parents before he was harmed. The records also state that Moreno’s ex-husband is a registered sex offender and that her son has special needs. She had custody because he was in jail and told the hospital he was dead. His sex offender thing was that he was 18 and slept with a younger teenager. To anyone that had the fortitude to read the article and absent enough ask – “friable” is how you’d describe the structural integrity of feta cheese. Oh, don’t mistake me, I’m glad to learn a thing, I hate how I learned it. I have no complaints of my own on this day. I’m glad I could let you learn a new word – But I’m still sorry about what it cost. You deserved better, like stumbling upon the word in the wild. I agree. Everyone in that church has PTSD for the simple act of practicing their right to worship. The victim’s don’t deserve to be blamed, belittle or used as pawns.
Now, this child not only has that trauma, has no mother, but has permanent brain damage that will most likely change his personality and ability to interact socially with others. I cannot fathom the God First Family Second Then Chiefs Kingdom Kelce Mahomes Kc Wolf Jones Shirt Also,I will get this degree of suffering that boy is destined to. The article says he had multiple cardiac arrests and a big piece of his skull had to be removed and that his scalp was so damaged that they can’t attach electrodes to run an EEG, just to see if he has brain activity. Not saying one is better than the other but to me, that’s the only way this kid got in hospital. 5 year olds are short. Depending on how young the child is there is a chance that they can neurologically recover well. Not something that they should have to do. But there is hope Neuroplasticity can be amazing. I just hope they and the victims get the support needed.
At least the God First Family Second Then Chiefs Kingdom Kelce Mahomes Kc Wolf Jones Shirt Also,I will get this article stated what’s so obvious about the politics: “Samuel had no protection of his God-given right to life,” Carranza’s post also said. “Because the very same legislators who claim to be ‘pro-life’ [in the public debate about abortion] believe that unbridled gun rights matter and the right to life does not! Insanity!” Children aged 0-21 including suicide and gang violence and omitting birth defects. That’s the stat I’m pretty sure. I’ll try to find the recent tweet where Kamala Harris uses that. Recent Tweet… I mean x post? Idk what to call it now People are free to practice whatever they want, but anything with Osteen’s name will always draw the ire of the general public. Not like he hasn’t earned it, either. Dude is vile. I don’t know if you can really say that. Because for some people it clearly isn’t sad enough to make them question their politics.
I know two people with frontal lobe damage. It doesn’t affect intelligence or body function but it affects emotions and empathy. One family member with this became very paranoid. He thought the God First Family Second Then Chiefs Kingdom Kelce Mahomes Kc Wolf Jones Shirt Also,I will get this post office was stealing his mail, and people on the phone were always trying to trick him. He was impulsive and prone to anger. He had a flat affect. He couldn’t care about other people’s emotions. It was pretty awful. It got progressively worse over time. The other one, I have only known as an old woman, but her injury happened when she was a child. She is lonely because her kids won’t have anything to do with her. They say she was physically and emotionally abusive. I believe it. Emotionally, she doesn’t understand anything except her own immediate happiness or anger. That’s really rough… To be clear, frontal lobe damage actually can affect some aspects of intelligence (planning, attention, etc.) too, along with the things you mentioned. It sounds like those aspects of intelligence may not have been affected for the people you know. Regardless, wishing the best for the child…
That is a good point, I didn’t think of that kind of functioning as intelligence, but I suppose it is. Neither of the God First Family Second Then Chiefs Kingdom Kelce Mahomes Kc Wolf Jones Shirt Also,I will get this two I knew was able to hold a job. This is where the terms social and emotional intelligence become important. It does appear that frontal lobe damage negatively affects these types of intelligence more reliably Look up frontal lobe damage side symptoms and you’ll see a very long list of adverse side effects. It’s not just some processing center for emotions As someone who sustained a couple pretty significant TBIs when I was young, (not frontal lobe) I am now 45 and on occasion, I get to hear a neurologist explain how “Oh yes, that can happen” and “It’s always difficult to say exactly how an injury will impact the brain” etc. about something that I just…never really thought about but has always been something I experienced. You’re absolutely correct: I have always seen these huge lists of symptoms and felt incredibly fortunate in a lot of ways. I mean, I’m not gonna gild a turd I definitely would have preferred that it didn’t happen.
I was hit by a truck, but had existing issues due to meningitis much earlier- so, neurologists tend to “Well, we are always learning new things about the God First Family Second Then Chiefs Kingdom Kelce Mahomes Kc Wolf Jones Shirt Also,I will get this brain” with me a bit. As others in the thread have mentioned hopefully: yeah, the brain can and often does do some impressive healing that isn’t expected. Unfortunately gunshot wounds are very different from other injuries, though and that also factors in symptoms. I’m definitely not comparing the injuries, but you’re right- if the kid survives, knowing everything he’s going to experience is just not gonna happen. We’d like to think that the advanced medicine we have today can cure us of a lot, but we’re still like our ancestors. It’s still part of the human experience, even in developed countries, to have injuries or diseases leave permanent changes. I haven’t been able to distance run after two bouts with pneumonia a few years ago. I think my lung function is permanently reduced.
I said almost exactly what you said recently regarding an episode of MDD. It’s great that we have the God First Family Second Then Chiefs Kingdom Kelce Mahomes Kc Wolf Jones Shirt Also,I will get this tools to help with depression, and that there’s an SSRI that I respond to, but it doesn’t change the almost 2 years of damage I did to my marriage by being emotionally unavailable and impossible to spend quality time with because I had zero motivation or energy. I’ve learned from it, I’m grateful to be out of it, and it’s given me some life experience that I can use to be a better husband. But it’s still very much a net negative on our relationship. Frontal lobe is where ADHD is located and observed with functional MRI. ADHD in adults is a very different animal than in children. It makes it difficult to maintain a healthy lifestyle, can interfere with friendships, jobs, and romantic relationships. Like childhood ADHD, it causes difficulty controlling emotions and regulating one’s self. It’s the same disorder in adults and children, just that children can develop to the point they aren’t considered to have it anymore, and children don’t have romantic relationships nor pay bills/plan for the future like adults do, so that’s not a symptom.
Anyways, Phineas Gage was a railroad worker who had a dynamite charge go off and push a two meter (six foot) iron rod from under his chin through his head and out of the God First Family Second Then Chiefs Kingdom Kelce Mahomes Kc Wolf Jones Shirt Also,I will get this front of his brain. Doctors could put a light under his chin and see the light staring through the hole in the top of his head. He lived for years after the accident (I think, working from memory), but his friends said he had a lot of trouble regulating his emotions and was more absent minded. He developed more of a temper after the accident. The flat effect you mention and difficulty with empathy sounds like limbic system damage. It’s deeper in the brain but right behind the frontal lobe. Any injury to the frontal lobe could also easily injure part of the limbic system. Paranoia is interesting. I have a few family members with schizophrenia (one for sure is paranoid type). That side of the family carries a mutation on one of the dopamine receptors which is known to be involved in schizophrenia, depression, substance abuse, and ADHD. I thought paranoia would be something that involved the whole brain like that dopamine receptors, but maybe it’s a specific area of the brain, like ADHD.
Do you think Osteen will give a small fraction of his wealth to help support the God First Family Second Then Chiefs Kingdom Kelce Mahomes Kc Wolf Jones Shirt Also,I will get this boy who was severely injured in his parish? We know the answer, but maybe repeating the question loud enough for everyone to hear may change the expected response. I hope so, I really really do, but Joel Osteen’s very clear record of actions shows he cares oh so little about anything but the numbers in his bank account. He’s so very far from god it’s insulting that his followers ignore or can’t see his clearly selfish and egocentric behavior. Fuck it, just start busting open some drywall in that joint and you’d have all the money any normal person would need to survive. Whhhhhhattttt??? They would be shocked(!), shocked, to find money hidden in the walls. How did it possibly get there? He’s a sociopathic conman. Even after the shooting occurred, he couldn’t switch off his “grinning devil” camera personality. He sounded like an oily plastic robot, so insincere, didn’t give two shits except that it interrupted his weekly pep talk. Yeah it used to be the Compaq center where the Rockets used to play before moving to their new arena, Toyota center
