As someone with ADS and some other things, I also sometimes don’t get certain things, but like I said, when someone tells me, again, something like OP, I knew it’s the wrong time. Again asking about not getting the very first thing, not the sarcasm. YOU intuitively knew it wasn’t the time, but some people might not. Just like a daltonic person won’t ever learn how to see colors even if they develop some strategies to guess them, and a kid with cerebral palsy is unable to perform movements perfectly. We don’t get frustrated when the daltonic guy doesn’t guess a color right even if he could theoretically manage to do so, do we? One can memorize that trees are green, but I figure most people would give him a pass if he said they are red. Many disabled people will struggle to perform stuff that is easy and trivial to everyone else. There is no need to be a dick to them for that.
