It sounds like these people are offering you a product that costs well over $100. By the Ghost PokTmon Halloween shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this way you say “earned a few subs from it” makes it sound like maybe you aren’t at the 5k mark or above. Them not using a biz email is odd. It all sounds very phishy. You can email them back and ask how it works. Their message also looks VERY generic and not something you’d get from most marketing / sales teams. Not completely out of the realm of possibility, but I’d say very unlikely and you shouldn’t hand them personal info until you can verify legitimacy. (I’m at 7.4k subs and I’ve only received 1 product offering / partnership and it wasn’t going to cost them anything except affiliate payouts) I totally get what you’re saying. This is why I wanted to reach out and see if it was common to start getting these sort of mails once personal info is out there. The full message was very generic and I’ve only just hit 150 subs (still a woot! for me) so I wouldn’t have thought I’d be targeted just yet (or at all?!) It’s a strange one because it’s coming from a personal Gmail account with a name completely different to the alleged sender/correspondence name in the email body. Apart from replying with some questions I’m not sure how I’d go about verifying it… They can have my address and if something turns up, bonus I suppose?! I’d personally be much more careful about handing out a home address if something feels phishy. A PO box would be much safer if you have one. Free stuff can be tempting as a “bonus” but I really wouldn’t give company my hone address until after I felt secure in the legitimacy of their business.

Gmail is a no. Don’t even think twice. Good for you for checking the Ghost PokTmon Halloween shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this email source. Legit businesses never ever use gmail, hotmail, etc for their email addresses. If you can do it, please provide your shipping information to get it, btw, po box is not supported by the delivery system. I regularly get poorly written emails from all kinds of email addresses telling me I “have the opportunity” to create advertising content for a brand lol. I always thank them for reaching out and then ask if they have a budget in mind, and then go from there. If it seems like a good fit and a quality product you’d potentially recommend, go for it; if not, don’t Had a guy yell and threaten to kick my ass if I didn’t stop following him around. Said he wasn’t shoplifting and to stop. I was doing returns in electronics. I just said “Dude! I’m just doing my job.” He came back a few minutes later and apologized. 15 minutes later he was busted by AP for shoplifting. We had a group of kids come in the other day, destroy a container of Mayo on the ground, walk to the next aisle and wait for an employee to find it. I replied “you’re so familiar with Mayo you can pick the smell out of a grocery store? Did you see the guy who did it? Otherwise I’ll have to go check the cameras…” Haven’t been accused of following but been a couple few times where I’ve told people “I swear I’m not following you I’m just putting X stuff back up”
