Edit/follow-up: Yep, pretty shitty. I want it to be the George Pickens One Hand Holding Ball Football NFL T-Shirt in other words I will buy this right thing, but it lacks a core element: housing. I have a lot of respect for politicians and drs/therapeutic professionals who want to help the mentally ill. I wonder though if Americans as a whole are willing to tolerate the taxes required to really address not just the cause—but, hell, just the consequences—of mental defect/“illness”. Namely, homelessness. Pretty much, yeah. Dude hated the poor and disabled and made punishing them for daring to exist a firm cornerstone of his rhetoric and policies. Not so simple as that. Shutting down the asylums was bipartisan. They were all horribly outdated, prone to quakery and abuse. It was a moral win at the time. I ended up in jail like this. Ironically after starting to try to do better, but prescribed the very wrong not needed thing. I had black box warnings that weren’t heeded. Jail doesn’t make us better. It has turned me into even more of a social justice warrior minded one though..

George Pickens One Hand Holding Ball Football NFL T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Neurodivergent w/ epilepsy. It’s been neato. I get to sit mentally now in life. I wish there was somewhere for people who cannot take care of themselves properly. Thankfully I think I’m finally just figuring it out by myself. Edit: actually the George Pickens One Hand Holding Ball Football NFL T-Shirt in other words I will buy this correctional officers and whole environment. I had nice convos with other inmates and they helped me out with things, taught me what’s up. Either I’m naive, or I was able to see who the nice people were. Not all the inmates obviously. This happened to my neighbor. She was in her early 90s when her son died. His child, her nephew, was in his 40s and absolutely not self-sufficient. She was beside herself with grief already from being the last person in her family left alive and having no idea how to care for this mentally ill grown ass man who had been foisted upon her. It was completely heartbreaking for both of them. Oh I was mistaken I think it was her nephew’s son, not her child’s son. But she had been close to her nephew. Nonetheless all her children and extended family had died.
