And I don’t really order anymore because of the Forallnerds Lion O. Richie Signature Shirt What’s more,I will buy this restaurants rather than the dashers. I very luckily haven’t had any creeps or beggars using the app, but the restaurants messing up the order is mainly why I don’t order much anymore. because those are the only situations that gets posted in this sub, it has nothing to do with doordash drivers getting worse and everything to do with the “horror stories” getting posted more and more on here I started dashing in 2019 and promptly quit in 2021 when the pay dropped by about 50%. Not worth my time, the amount of gas it costs, and the wear and tear on my vehicle. After all expenses I was making a piddly $10/hr. I already have a full time job so it didn’t make sense to me to keep dashing since I was just doing it to save up some extra money. Time with my spouse and dogs is worth way more than $10/hr. People who are having normal experiences with dashers or dashing are not likely to make a post like, “business as usual!”

Forallnerds Lion O. Richie Signature Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I think all the Forallnerds Lion O. Richie Signature Shirt What’s more,I will buy this good drivers got tired of the company. Those that are left are resentful and don’t care. I now have to have every driver mark the order as picked up or 10-15% of the orders never make it and they send more people to pick up the same orders. I don’t see any more of those but the drivers are offended that we ask. I think the reputation of most gig econ people has always been pretty shitty and honestly it’s well deserved. There’s a lot of cool people on the platform I’m sure but there is no denying there are a ton of malcontents as well, which is where those horror stories come from. It was the same with Postmates back when all of this kinda started getting popular. It’s the nature of the job- it just attracts a lot of peeps who don’t have the social skills to hold down a regular job type job. I remember hearing stories from fellow Postmates just while waiting at restaurants and stuff even before I found these forums. I order on DD all the time and none of these have ever happened to me. Funny to read though, fingers crossed it stays that way
