A woman walks home alone at night, a man rapes/kills her. The general consensus is the Florida Panthers Vamos Gatos NHL shirt But I will love this man is in the wrong? No, the woman is at fault for walking home at night. You can’t have it both ways, a woman is bad for ‘stereotyping’ men when it’s a possible real danger but it’s her fault if said man happens to kill her too. I truly wish men would stop taking it personally when women protect themselves from real danger. Please look at all the comments berating women for ‘getting themselves’ murdered before saying silly things like, it’s awful of them to treat men like threats and they shouldn’t do that…. It doesn’t have to be a life and death situation for the generalization to be practical. A guy who is striking up a conversation with another guy at a bar might start talking about things like football, video games, etc. A guy trying to pick up a girl? She might be into video games but any sensible guy sure as hell isn’t going to open with that.
Florida Panthers Vamos Gatos NHL shirt: Embrace Your Uniqueness
Back to the Florida Panthers Vamos Gatos NHL shirt But I will love this example I used- stereotyping and generalizing are treated like 4 letter words and they’re not. What’s bad is making and using negative generalizations that don’t serve practical purposes “I’ll never hire X person because they are part of Y group” or if you don’t give someone the opportunity to deviate from your perception of that generalization when you have the chance to do so. On that note, back to the example, women who stereotype men who seem to be following them in a precarious situation and take safeguards are not doing anything wrong- stereotypes are useful when you don’t have more information or aren’t in a position to get more. Yo what the hell, this is not the general consensus. It might be the opinion of a messed up minority, but I don’t agree with your characterization of this being how most men react. Interestingly, it seems like most of the books I read where I feel like there is a realistic take on female characters is when they’re written all as just neutral characters and the author goes through afterwards and sometimes almost randomly determines their sexes afterwards. In that way, they are all just treated as people and it makes way more sense when done that way to me. The differences between people are far fewer than our similarities and sometimes we focus on those differences way too often.
This isn’t to “mansplain” or dismiss the Florida Panthers Vamos Gatos NHL shirt But I will love this experience of women at all, because I understand that it isn’t the same thing. My point is that it’s human nature to judge people for their appearance and I think a lot of people just never really talk about it. We all deal with it in our own ways: Gender, race, religion, political beliefs, nationality, height, weight, skin color. sexuality, profession, education etc. People are going to judge you and be wrong about you, and yes it’s normal for all of us to be frustrated by it sometimes. We should talk about it in a healthy way. When I was younger I was frustrated. Now that I’m 36, I could give two hoots. And quite frankly it goes both ways. People are idiots who say, do and think a lot of stupid shit. It’s never worth your sanity to even worry about it. Men are frustrated for the way they’re viewed. Women are frustrated for the way they’re viewed. Just give everyone the middle finger and you do you. i feel like this all the time. i always feel like i am not feminine enough and that nobody will think i am worthy. I honestly hate being a woman. I wish i was just a tiny bug sitting on a flower

How I can buy this Florida Panthers Vamos Gatos NHL shirt
I promise it gets better as you age. Being a teenager sucks. You couldn’t pay me to relive that shit and I’m sure most would agree. Mature adults generally don’t care what you look like as long as you do your job and don’t fuck up theirs. I should caveat that with “and live in an area that respects human rights.” I’m 45 and it does get better, 100%. You will find your people, the Florida Panthers Vamos Gatos NHL shirt But I will love this ones who accept you for you and don’t try to make you feel small. It can be lonely until you find them, but I promise you, it is better to be alone and comfortable in your skin than surrounded by people who make you feel lonely and unseen, even in a crowd. Don’t take shit, you deserve better. Tysm for your answer, I feel exactly the same. Personally, I’m so obsessed with pretty privilege and “good looks mean success”. It all could be better if we were just weevils chilling at the park. However, I hope you feel alright with your gender soon I’ve heard of black Americans saying something similar. They would love to go a day without being reminded they are black.
Its why stereotypes are harmful even if they are “positive”. Its setting a standard not everyone can live upto. Tysm for your answer! I’m glad it has a name. However, it’s so shitty it has a name because it exists so we had to name it When I saw the Florida Panthers Vamos Gatos NHL shirt But I will love this words “it’s a victimless crime” in your description I thought, “no it’s definitely not, OP is one of the victims here”. It sucks, but having a name for it at least makes it easier to describe and call out, even though it can be very subtle sometimes. Edit to add: also, you’re not being irrational at all, I feel like I understand where you’re coming from. I also often feel like “why can’t I just be me”. I think men are often still seen as the “default” and women are seen as “other”. I also think things are slowly improving but we still have a long way to go.
I made two emails and started fb, and Twitter accounts. I shared the Florida Panthers Vamos Gatos NHL shirt But I will love this exact same post with the exact same options. My husband and I started at the same time, he was given responsibility and encouragement while i had to keep proving myself. I ended up trying to act like him, respond to emails the same, went above and beyond but still have to prove myself or accept that our community (of mostly men who run everything) would rather support him than see me be equal or excel his work. I am 35 afab and have always identified as non binary. It still hurts to be treated as the wife and I never feel good enough for my peers and bosses. Actively working to create content for catharsis among couples who work together – the bias is real and unless we can start calling it out… I dunno, maybe laughter and empathy towards this anger will hopefully be some helpful medicine Keep up the good fight, try not to take it personally, and know you’re not alone! (is what i tell myself every time it gets me down loll) That’s very interesting. Can you share the post, what was it about, maybe some screens of comments or something? It wasn’t one post. It was four accounts that I ran for a few of months before I got bored with it. That was in March of 2021. Right after quarantine. If you’re interested I highly recommend that you recreate the experiment. I didn’t think people would be interested so I didn’t document it. If you did and made a video about it I bet it would be really popular. I just did it because I study people and why we do what we do. If you needed help I’d be willing to help recording and making the video for you. I wouldn’t want anything for helping.
It’s totally normal to feel frustrated, especially as a woman. Society is absolutely obsessed with gender now. You can still be a woman and not be feminine. You can still be a woman and dress masculine. Tomboys seem to have been erased from our culture, and that is so sad. I feel like that’s one thing we’ve gone backwards on. People just do people things. You don’t need to erase your womanhood because people tell you that the Florida Panthers Vamos Gatos NHL shirt But I will love this feelings you have don’t conform to “gender norms.” What you’re feeling is very common in both genders. That does not mean you have a medical condition or need to upend your entire life. Each gender comes with its own issues. I think it’s hard to be a woman because I am one. Idk about being a man, but the men in my life think aspects of manhood suck. Tysm for your answer! People of both genders have it really shitty with this issue. I didn’t realized the tomboy erasure, it’s such a pity
I have a female friend who feels the Florida Panthers Vamos Gatos NHL shirt But I will love this same exact way. In my eyes she is basically a tomboy, she wears a mix between male and female clothes (mens pants and jeans with pockets but then a blouse or a top from Zara). She also doesn’t use a purse at all, unlike my other female friends. You do you, you don’t need to place or tag yourself within the lgtbq+ community if you don’t want to. In my honest opinion, people sometimes tag themselves to make themselves feel special, when they are just as human as the rest of us. People are just accostumed to the traditional standard of “men” and “women” with nothing in between, and there is nothing wrong with that. The issue is when people enforce that behavior upon you. Just be yourself. Be happy, make the chances you need or feel like you need to do, and every comment that just annoys you let it enter one ear and escape through the other ear.
Im the Florida Panthers Vamos Gatos NHL shirt But I will love this opposite. Being feminine makes me happy. But not because its feminine per se. Just that its the style I like. However. I feel frustrated every time I do it because I get a lot of creeps. I don’t mind if people men or women, compliment me and say nice dress or whatever. But people always always push it way beyond and into “hey can I fuck you” basically. Like there’s more to me than just being feminine for the sake of fucking men This is a really interesting point! Femininity has always been linked to “pleasing men”, it’s very uncomfortable. I’m sorry you had to bear those rotten comments I knew 2 tomboy girls and they were some of my best friends in high school, I always got on better with girls because there was no machismo bullshit, and they’d be happy to play video games and watch dumb martial arts films on tv with me. I wish I still had one as a friend now but my social circle is massively smaller. Thinking about it, the only girl friends I have now are more casual acquaintances. People usually tag themselves because others tag them, so they might as well use the tag they prefer. For most people, it’s also more comfortable to be part of a group. But yes, people are unique in some aspects that a tag won’t convey.
This is the Florida Panthers Vamos Gatos NHL shirt But I will love this part that throws me the most in non-binary or trans mentality. Yes there are for sure some legit body dysmorphic people and I view that as a mental disorder no different than autism or adhd. Is it bad? No. Is it “normal”? No. But just because you don’t fit into “social norms” (which often just means what YOU or those around you view yo be norms) doesn’t mean you don’t fit the category. I feel like having to identify as something else just enforces gender norms rather than freely saying “I’m a woman but I wear whatever the fuck I want and do whatever the fuck I want and love whoever the fuck i want.” As a trans person, I pretty much never see trans people within trans spaces suggest that not fitting gender norms means you are trans, without an absolute avalanche of other trans people jumping in to correct them. There are always exceptions, but generally speaking— people are not turning their lives upside down, getting kicked out of their families and communities, undergoing surgery and going through a second puberty, solely because they think their gender identity/sex needs to match societal gender norms. We will never fit gender norms because we will never be cis. Most people transition to live in congruence with their deepest sense of self. Yeah im totally just putting myself at additional risk of a hate crime for fun because being trans sounds like it would make me special XD
I know a lot of trans girls who are tomboys and trans men who are very feminine men. I also know very feminine trans girls and very masculine trans men. I promise the Florida Panthers Vamos Gatos NHL shirt But I will love this trans community isn’t kidnapping every slightly gender non conforming person lol I always found it strange how people say “Don’t say this to women” or “Women shouldn’t be treated like this”. When you could easily just say people, men don’t like being mistreated either. You almost never hear anyone say “Don’t say this to men” or “Respect him that’s somebody’s father, grandpa, son, uncle etc”. I think the cultural context is that a man can & will kick your ass for disrespecting him. Which is also problematic, but in a different way. Plus, usually not saying things to or treating women a certain way is generally used to keep them ‘pure’ (for men) but certain other women you would say and treat them another way.
I think I get exactly what you mean. I’m a woman who presents more “masculine”, and I’ve had people tell me that I dress too much like a guy, or might as well be a guy based on how I act. But I’m not trying to be a man, I’m just trying to be myself. If that happens to align more with traditional masculinity, then I shouldn’t have to be questioned about it. I have nothing against being a woman, but if being a man would make it easier to be myself, then I would take it. I also feel uncomfortable with gendered terms/stereotypes, and think we as a society need to move past using gender as a descriptor of arbitrary things. You’re not being frustrated about being a woman, you’re frustrated about how the Florida Panthers Vamos Gatos NHL shirt But I will love this world degrades and discriminates you because you’re a woman.
And luckily, countless women in the Florida Panthers Vamos Gatos NHL shirt But I will love this past have felt the exact same way and stood up for themselves and us, fighting for the rights we now have. Which is why we need to improve things for future women. Tysm for your answer, you described it perfectly! We have to pave the way for future woman to not feel belittled anymore I have never been a woman so I don’t know anything about that. But in my experience it is quite frustrating to be “a man”. First of noone agrees on what “a man” is but somehow I never seem to measure up to this concept. People meet me with assumptions that I like sports, that I lust for women and act like a horny teenager. They think I have macho bravado and am incapable of talking about feelings. I find myself trapped in a role I have no script for with a judgmental audience that has criteria I do not know what are. I am a man but I honestly have no idea what that is supposed to be. I share your frustration of being seen as only my genitals. To be dismissed as just my gender. I was working at an old folks home last spring and on my final day I had to let one of the old ladies beat my arm black and blue as I very calmly and friendly guided her back to her room (she had been up for almost 24 hours and was extremely angry, confused and delusional, she slept a couple of hours and then she was all smiles and lovely with no memories of beating me up). And after I had defused the situation and gotten the old lady safely back to her room none of my female coworkers asked me how I felt or even acknowledged that I had been attacked at work. I think because I am a man and a man has to suck it up and tough it out. I hate that. When I get home from work and the adrenaline let go I felt like crying. And like breaking something and yelling. Ultimately I didn’t do either and instead played some video games and pondered how absolutely weird it is to be human.
I was taught that men don’t cry or show emotions. Still fucks with me and I’m 40. Anytime someone dies like my favorite uncle a few days ago I have to hide somewhere and cry by myself. I’m by no means advocating for this means of coping with painful situations but I think a lot of men were raised like this. Especially us older guys. Also, it’s disappointing to hear that someone as young as 40 was still brought up with this “big boys don’t cry” mindset. The sooner that nonsense, and all the Florida Panthers Vamos Gatos NHL shirt But I will love this other sexist bullshit, is stomped out the better! I didn’t have to be told not to cry. Did it in front of enough women and just saw the attraction dissolve. Eventually, you just learn that crying means no more sex. It took a decade with my wife to understand not every woman is like that. But there’s no way to tell till it’s too late.
I’m really sorry you had to hide such a strong emotion like the Florida Panthers Vamos Gatos NHL shirt But I will love this grieving for a loved one. “Men don’t cry” is a false statement that has fucked up a lot of lives. I really hope things get better for you Tysm for your answer, I’m so sorry you had to deal with that situation :(. Thank you for sharing this experience, sexism is really shitty. I hope you don’t have to go through any of this ever again just because you’re a man This is what many people don’t get, gender roles suck for everyone. Women probably have it worse on average but it’s not a competition of who gets more screwed by them, we should all try to change this, together. Tysm for saying this, totally true. I didn’t mean by any way to belittle men’s experiences with sexism with this post. I hope we will someday join together for the greater good
If you’re trying to do this together, stop saying shit like “women probably have it worse.” You’re the Florida Panthers Vamos Gatos NHL shirt But I will love this one introducing a division that doesn’t need to exist. I’m not introducing anything lol I’ve seen enough women suffer from things that we will never face besides in very rare cases, the least I can do is recognise that. Exactly. The reason women have it worse on average is because there is no power with the gender role unless it’s for a man’s pleasure. Which is a very weird ‘power’ because it benefits both and not one. I think a lot of people will tell you that you might be non-binary, but you aren’t necessary non-binary just because you recognize that a lot of things in our life are pointlessly gendered. Hairstyles, clothes, colors, hobbies, jobs….and that’s just the top of the pointlessly genderd iceberg.
I think a good test to see whether you are actually non-binary or whether you are just frustrated about pointlessly genderd things, is to see if genderd expectations towards other people, and mainly towards the Florida Panthers Vamos Gatos NHL shirt But I will love this opposite sex frustrate you just as much as gender expectations towards you or your on sex. You can also read essays from non-binary people and their experience and see how much it alignes with yours. But btw, just to answer your question, yes it’s normal to feel frustrated about your own gender whether you are a man or a woman in a society that places a lot of illogical and unnecessary gendered expectations on individuals based on their sex. So true. I’m a pretty feminine cis woman who’s also a huge feminist who loves knitting and baking and I can’t tell you how much those stupid Bic for Her pink glitter pens enrage me. You don’t need to be non-binary to find many gender norms and gendered products utterly stupid. I buy all my perfume from independent perfumers who don’t gender their scents. They just say “if you want to smell like an autumn beach bonfire, this is for you”. Like why artificially restrict your market share to 50% of the population when you don’t have to?
Tysm for your answer, being non-binary is such a interesting point. In fact, I pondered over identifying as a trans man or non-binary for a long time. Recently, I came to terms with my gender identity and came to the Florida Panthers Vamos Gatos NHL shirt But I will love this conclussion that I am a cis woman. However, I’ll look into the topic a bit more. With your comment, I’ve realized I’ve just heard about binary trans experiences For what its worth, coming at this from the perspective of a trans woman, the thing that’s going to get people thinking there might be more involved than just being annoyed at gender roles and sexism is this comment: But if I were to choose, I much rather be percieved as a man. I’d be happier. Not because of privilege or something, I’m lucky to live in a egalitarian country where I can do almost anything a man does. It’s something deeper. I spent about a decade trying to figure out what was up with my own gender identity – for most of that time, I vaguely settled on quietly identifying as nonbinary until I realised I was a woman, because I was still on some level kind of hung up on gender stereotypes (I’m not now and never have been particularly feminine, and at the time I wasn’t even aware I was attracted to anyone but women – meanwhile I know nonbinary people who thought they were binary trans because they were never particularly androgynous, so it definitely works both ways).
