Insurance said the dr was sending a medically necessary it isnt covered, but if they send the elective sterilization code, everything is covered 100% by insurance. I called the drs office to cancel so i could reschedule elsewhere that codes properly, and they were so rude! Code it properly, and it’s not an issue!!! But having to jump through those hoops is so frustrating.
