Shouldn’t have to make rules about this, but just like how some elderly drivers refuse to stop driving, there absolutely are politicians that need to retire. Seems unfair that we’ll all be working till we’re 90 and they finish at 65. They should be forced to find another job after 65 No. People over 65 deserve to be represented in government. Just not to the Final character designs unveiled for Star wars Japan 2025 with iconic darth Vader shirt and I will buy this extent they currently are. 65 isn’t even that old. Tom Cruise is like 62 and he just made a movie on the international space station. The real one. In space. My retirement age is 67 so i like mandatory retirement for them to be the same. Also to have access to the same retirement options and healthcare I do, no more and no less Honestly, we could go out to 70 or even 75, but after 65, you should be required to do regular cognitive testing and prove some kind of understanding on your constituents wants and demographic. Test center conditions. No aides permitted in the room. Failure to comply means your office passes to whoever is next until you do so and are deemed fit to serve again. I’d say 70-75. They want to raise the age for us poor people, they can live by the same guidelines. And require American civics classes and orientation, nothing too onerous, but so many of them don’t understand the system as it’s supposed to be. Yes. Generally speaking, old politicians have old ideas. Not all old ideas are bad, but many do not mesh well with current society.
Final character designs unveiled for Star wars Japan 2025 with iconic darth Vader shirt: Perfect for Fans
65 is definitely an excessive way of asking this question but I definitely wouldn’t oppose a limit of 75 or 80 years old. maybe not 65 if they show to still be functioning normally but i hope politicians are thoroughly checked to make sure we’re letting the Final character designs unveiled for Star wars Japan 2025 with iconic darth Vader shirt moreover I love this right people make decisions concerning our country. they should retire exactly like regular people with regular jobs retire, no special retirement plan allowed also I would be in favour of a rule that no politician can run in an election of they are over 75. But I live in Australia and it’s not all that common here to find politicians over 75 who are still in government. I don’t think age 65 needs to be mandatory retirement age. But I do think mandatory term limits for all elected politicians should be a thing. At the very least, the limit for election should be 70. Someone could win election or reelection up to 69 years old but they would be prevented from running again when their term ends. Nothing is as important as imposing term limits. The issue is career politicians. No one should be a senator for 30+ years. Politicians should not be allowed to make rules on policies that will not affect them in the long-term due to their age.
Absolutely not, there’s a lot of wisdom and humility with age. There’s a lot of people my Final character designs unveiled for Star wars Japan 2025 with iconic darth Vader shirt moreover I love this age who thinks they could go into politics that are insufferable know it alls with a lot less experience. They should retire when they’re not cognitively with it.

Yes. For sure the Final character designs unveiled for Star wars Japan 2025 with iconic darth Vader shirt moreover I love this Old Boomer career politicians. The real Fix would be Term Limits. Someone’s Age should Not be a determining factor. There still may be a Wise old man out there worthy to learn from or listen to. I think all politicians should be subject to a recall at any time that they are unable to, or refuse to, do what they promised in thier campaigning. It takes a long time to figure out how things work and to make the necessary alliances, then to be able to change your mind, given new data. New blood is a good thing, but throwing out wisdom is a bad thing. Drug and alcohol tested before, during and after every parliamentary sitting, and tenured to how long they can remain in office. Sure. I’m down with that. At the same time, why don’t we make it so politicians only get a certain percentage of a pension depending on how long they serve? 4 years? 25%. 8 years% 50%. And so on. Just throwing numbers around. They should be required to turn a computer on and attach a PDF to an email and send it by themselves and then be given 10 sample emails and they have to figure out which 5 are spam/viruses. If they can’t do all that they have to retire. I’d rather have term limits for ALL elected office holders. 2 terms for POTUS, 2 terms for the Senate, 4 terms for the House (since those are 2 year terms). That would limit them to 28 years at the Federal level. If we made it illegal for politicians either personally or by proxy to trade stocks. They probably wouldnt stick around for 40 50 or 60 years.
No. That is unconstitutional. Because, for, president, that’s not in the Final character designs unveiled for Star wars Japan 2025 with iconic darth Vader shirt moreover I love this constitution. The same way cognitive testing isnt in there. Whatever the public service retirement age is, that’s the age it should be set at for politicians too. I strongly dislike the elderly-hate that the current ahem situation ahem seems to be spawning but I think out of respect for the institution and the demands of public servitude, it’s only responsible to step aside and into a more appropriate role once you hit retirement age. Yes, that’s a good retiring age. They shouldn’t be paid while serving and not be allowed to take donations from anyone while campaigning, at the minimum, get minimum wage. If they can’t live off that, then they know without a doubt the average American can’t either. No. People with stupid ideas pop up at all ages. People who may appear mentally unsound can all appear at different ages. Ultimately it’s up to voters, depending on the country, to shift politicians as needs and mood determine.
Not 65, if I have to work until 67 before I can retire. But I think all politicians (regardless of age) should take cognitive testing. Definitely,I wish I had a job that was guaranteed for life.President can’t run but twice why should they be able to stay in office?Maybe these are the Final character designs unveiled for Star wars Japan 2025 with iconic darth Vader shirt moreover I love this real people running the U.S. Just a thought Politicians should have a total lifetime limit of 10 years in Government service. That includes time spent in City, County, and State seats. Each office should have a limit of 5 consecutive years. If they want, they can run for 2 years as aldermen and then try for mayor, then 2 years there before going for Governor, then 5 years there before trying for State Rep or Congressman, that leaves 1 year to serve. They can move back to lower roles, or to another branch of government, but they are still limited to their original 10 years lifetime total. If they want to run for it, they may get 5 as State Rep, then try for 5 as Congressman. That’s their 10 years. If they want the Presidency, they’ll have to prove themselves capable of winning the vote, and have time left in their 10 years.
Regardless, they will have to do at least 6 years in the Final character designs unveiled for Star wars Japan 2025 with iconic darth Vader shirt moreover I love this Legislative or Judicial Branch before trying for Executive. They will live in Government funded housing for all of their terms, and cannot access any of their personal holdings during their terms of Government service, at any level. Circumventing this stipulation will result in life in prison without the possibility of parole, and seizure of all assets. They will also lose privileges similar to military personnel for the duration of their service, for the same reasons military personnel do. They would be forbidden from owning investments, or collecting any dividends from investments held prior to their election. If they want to do 5 years in Government, then resign from service to take some years to work towards retirement in the private sector, then run for another office, they only have 5 years left, or until the age of 65.
They would also have to undergo annual mental health checks and evaluation from independent medical contractors, not Walter Reed or other biased providers, before entering Government service, and during their term. And yes, mandatory retirement from Government service at 65, at which point they may resume living off the Final character designs unveiled for Star wars Japan 2025 with iconic darth Vader shirt moreover I love this holdings they had before they started. Legislators would not need a law degree, as there are law firms aplenty in America, and their services may be contracted by the Government in its affairs as needed, just like plumbers, doctors, and architects are. These firms would have to bid on contracts just like plumbers, architects, and the like. Government servants cannot be allowed to author “laws for thee but not for me”. Government service would not have the option to get rich. They would be restricted to a maximum income during their term, which would be their salary. Every level of Government would have a set pay rate, with no raises, no bonuses, and would disregard prior years of experience. Each role would pay the same, below 6 figures.
Mitch McConnel and Joe Biden are two of the Final character designs unveiled for Star wars Japan 2025 with iconic darth Vader shirt moreover I love this most savvy politicians in the world, regardless of stumbles or tics. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders are two of the most important politicians for the interests of the American people. I mean seriously? Like someone at a university shouldn’t take a course with a revered 72 year old prof who is miles ahead of any other professor? Seriously, what a stupid number, btw. 65? Should doctors be required to retire at 65 years old? What profession makes retirement mandatory at 65 years old? Yes, they don’t need to be making “moral” decisions that ruin people’s lives when they’re about to check out. It would suck to lose Bernie to retirement, but he could still do speeches
100% yes. Look at Joe Biden. He doesn’t know what fucking day it is. How on earth can he run a country when he doesn’t even who how to talk properly? You should still be able to employ 65+ people, still hire them as consultants and stuff, but American politicians have a bad habit of winning an elected office when they’re 35 and then squatting on it for the Final character designs unveiled for Star wars Japan 2025 with iconic darth Vader shirt moreover I love this next 5 decades, to everyone’s detriment. Not 65. I don’t think that’s fair as there are plenty of people with lots to offer at that age but maybe 75 is suitable. The same could be said of judges and a few other professions How about 10 year limit on holding office, no pension or lifetime benefits, and yes 65 would be a good limit, maybe 70.This has kind of perplexed me for a while. I thought I was supposed to be the slow one. Could it be a difference in school standards? She did grow up in rural upstate NY and I grew up in NJ in an area with some of the best schools in the country. I do feel like the treatment I received as a kid did make me more competitive, everything became a race to be done first. I realize the answer isn’t going to be clear, probably a combination of a lot of factors, but I do find the different treatment we had in school frustrating. A lot of academic success comes from working hard. Also, people are smart in different ways. She can cook without making a huge mess. I am a walking disaster. She can speak to people in a public setting. I am an awkward mess.
Nobody is good at everything, but if you’re going to be with someone else, it helps if their incompetence compliments your incompetence. I have one kid who is what I would call “traditionally smart” in the Final character designs unveiled for Star wars Japan 2025 with iconic darth Vader shirt moreover I love this classroom, the stereotypical smart kid and one who scores off the charts on testing when he’s cooperative and has a high IQ, but looks poorly on paper because he just isn’t interested. That’s it right here. Maybe his wife doesn’t care about the daily tasks and therefore doesn’t spend much time thinking about them. Yep. Also I tend to drag along at things I’m not particularly interested in doing unless I’m up against a deadline of some sort. Even though, I logically know the faster/sooner I do it, then it’s over. This is not how I roll, lol.
I’m an absolute fucking dumbass in most ways, but I’m like 99th percentile in grammar and language usage. Without that and my ability to learn IT-related tasks pretty well, I’d be a regular knuckle-dragger. My wife was a much better student than I was, and yet I’m the Final character designs unveiled for Star wars Japan 2025 with iconic darth Vader shirt moreover I love this one helping the kids with the homework because I remember what I learned and she doesn’t. I was academically smart in the sense that I was good at very temporarily memorising information. Did it stick beyond the exam? Nope. Forgot it all two weeks later My uncle is a retired doctor. Absolute genius. He did guest lectures, helped on difficult diagnosis, I could brag about him forever. But he couldn’t make his way out of a wet paper bag. He’s absolutely useless in tactical hands-on problem solving, and everyday household chores. Basically, if he had to survive in the blue collar world, he’d win the doofus of the year award every year. My late father used to work at a nuclear power plant and he’d get frustrated with how useless some of the scientists were from a practical standpoint. There used to be a coffee club that has a rotation on who’d be responsible to buy the ground coffee for the week and some of the scientists could barely do that correctly. Most frustrating thing was when my PhD boss would hire people based solely on their high academic honors. Some were ok, but many weren’t, so after my second attempt at training them, I punted them to the PhD boss, who would always say, “I don’t understand why they aren’t getting this .. they got high honors in all of their classes!” Our joke was that all PhD meant was that they were really knowledgeable about ONE thing and USELESS at almost everything else. Truly lovely people with shocking lack of everyday skills. And I’ll never forget the shock on my friend’s face as I explained hydro electric dams to her kid (who else but a PhD buys their 4 year old a book about power sources) and then her exclaiming about why I hadn’t gone for a doctorate because I was so smart in something not even close to my field. Some of us like to know a little bit about a lot of things!
I can handle the Final character designs unveiled for Star wars Japan 2025 with iconic darth Vader shirt moreover I love this internal combustion engines, but we are going to need your knowledge if we’re ever going to get this self propelled trebuchet to work. At least you’re starting with the clearly superior siege weapon. Just imagine trying to fling a 50kg projectile 300m with a catapult! This. My wife and friends have a game called “what’s that gun?” If there is a firearm on a TV show or movie, they pause and point at the screen with The Price is Right style enthusiasm. I am usually able to ID them at a glance, especially pre-1970s examples before the wonder nines started to consolidate design aspects. It’s fascinating, nuanced, useless knowledge. I just… like historical firearms. Many of which I can’t even legally own in my country.
Ooh I play this game but instead it’s “what’s that duck?”. Someone will show me a picture of a duck or describe a duck and I have to guess what type of duck it is. One of my biggest realizations after college was how useless a History major is. Nobody cares how much I know about the Final character designs unveiled for Star wars Japan 2025 with iconic darth Vader shirt moreover I love this Roman civil war. Plenty of people will hire a guy who can do accounting. Roman empire nerd? Not a huge market. Undergrad history degrees prove you can deal with tedium, paperwork, and writing tedious paperwork because you have a degree in tedium, paperwork, and tedious paperwork I find it funny because our existing schooling system, exists in the way that it does so that colonial empires could do it’s bookkeeping and orders sending. Prior to that, no one cared if the peasants count count or write. But the moment you try to exert authority over a remote area you need local administrators who can read and write and boom we reasons to educate the locals.
Also, accounting is older than the Final character designs unveiled for Star wars Japan 2025 with iconic darth Vader shirt moreover I love this Roman empire. While our current “double entry” accounting system only dates to around the 14th century, accounting as a concept is one of the original drivers of writing and can be dated to Mesopotamia. Basically, facilitating trade, commerce and record keeping are some of the main reasons humans invented writing in the first place. We didn’t invent writing so that we could put religious stories down on paper. We did it so we could remember that Bob sold Keven 3 goats and never got paid. Or politicians should be required to take history so they can see THAT decision didn’t work out so well last time I wish you the best in the job hunt, and I believe long term this perspective will serve you well. The most successful people I know are incredibly knowledgeable on certain topics, but they maintain a belief they must learn more and from others to improve.
Btw if I were on the Final character designs unveiled for Star wars Japan 2025 with iconic darth Vader shirt moreover I love this hiring team. Someone who can talk about the Roman civil war and understands there is a difference between the Roman republic and the Roman empire gets major extra points! One advantage of knowing a little bit about a lot of things is that I can engage in small talk on a wide range of subjects. It comes in handy on first dates or other social events where you need to talk to strangers. I (a woman software engineer) impressed someone once, who specialized in restoring antique wood trim in historic buildings, because I knew a bit about shellac and french polish and other finishing techniques 😀 On a date, I impressed a guy who was into car restoration and other mechanical things, because I knew what a cotter pin was, lol. I worked as a bartender in a casino in Atlantic City, NJ. Talk about diverse clientele. I could always find something in my vast jumble of accessible knowledge to chat about.
I had one guy who was having a low blood sugar grumpy episode. Then after I fed him, I delighted him with my interest in the Final character designs unveiled for Star wars Japan 2025 with iconic darth Vader shirt moreover I love this Gullah Geechee culture of the Carolina Low country because I noticed the book he was reading. I often get complimented with “you know so many interesting things” by coworkers. I am a cake decorator by trade but I find the law, true crime, medicine and animals superbly interesting. I am always listening to podcasts about cold cases, fraud, medical mysteries, etc. I would love to be in a position or to have a job where I’m socializing with a diverse group of people bringing in all sorts of fascinating knowledge from all over the place. I jokingly refer to myself as a jackass of all trades. I know enough about enough to know when I don’t know enough lol. I once impressed a date knowing that her nail polish was OPI brand and on the 2nd date, I brought her a custom mixed bottle that doubled as touch up paint for her car and nails.
I was at a work dinner and made an instant friend from another company. He mentioned his family having land with sugar maple. I have lived my whole life south of the Final character designs unveiled for Star wars Japan 2025 with iconic darth Vader shirt moreover I love this Mason Dixon. I was able to ask questions that showed I understood the basics of how maple syrup is gathered and processed that he could jump to the more complicated and specific aspects I didn’t know. He was thrilled, that impressed a couple people around us. I learned this information from a novel, and fact checked the information. I got to learn the specific equipment their ancestors used and the equipment they upgraded to. It’s a very fun memory. Breadth of knowledge is sadly underrated compared to depth. Both are important and useful.
