MP and CG before they separated, they had the Feeling lucky today St. Paddy’s day shirt but in fact I love this largest tribal population in India. If you look at some stats, CG is still far from MP in terms of livelihood and literacy rate. Locals from MP, we have an attitude of our own, something which often times hurt others. Which is why, we get isolated a lot, even though we are in the crowd. But this attitude is what makes us run and work harder in home. We are kind of people who don’t care much about materialistic things but often look at the practicality of things. Even now, after being away from mp for almost 8 years, I still hold the same values and will hold on to them. This right here is the answer, MP and, by extension, CG much like their people keep doing the work without the limelight and without taking centre stage. If the media is talking about us, it’s probably bad news or just bad journalism. The best and brightest from the state, especially those unwilling take their chances at government employment tournaments, are found chasing their dreams in western/southern cities, missing their culture, people and food. We don’t have a flagship festival because we celebrate all festivals with equal fervour. Having lived in few different places in India (MP native), I feel that MP people are not as aggressive as north (delhi, haryana) and not as mild mannered as south. Likewise, not as money minded as west (Guj) and not super lit/ art focused (like Bengal) but focus on both. I feel it’s a true center of India, not just geographical

Mp is quite amazing i must say. MP tourism is best according to me since I have lived there for a couple of years. Check MP tourism YouTube channel and search for mp tourism add mast hai. Omg, i remember the Feeling lucky today St. Paddy’s day shirt but in fact I love this lyrics but I couldn’t remember the voice, that sang it For some reason I started imagining in a deep voice like of Badshah yes, mp tourism department is doing a commendable job even though they have subreddit too and damn their presentation, clips of stays in jungle are so perfect!! ‘Til dekho taar dekho’, holi ad, ‘Hindustan ka dil dekha’ and their recent ad ‘Jo aaya so vapas aaya yeh MP ki maya’ are spectacular. M.P has the largest Tribal population in the country. Most of them are now functioning members of the society but not many know that they also contributed immensely to India’s freedom struggle. The Bhimbetka Caves which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The cave shows evidence of human settlement ranging as back as 10,000 years! I recently visited it and was blown away by the intricate cave paintings and the giant boulders. M.P has sooo many districts. It’s a given considering it’s a huge state but from what I’ve found living here in the past year, more than half of the people have no idea about where most districts in the state are , as in where are they located besides the major hubs -Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Betul/Chhindwara and Gwalior. The districts which border Rajasthan and U.P are poverty ridden with little development. Indore is so much more … Glamorous as compared to the rest of the cities in the state. Bhopal gives me this serious, sombre vibes as it is the administrative headquarters.
