Mayor Bill DeBlasio was frank about it: “This may not look like the Fantasy Football Champion Funny League Draft Party Champ shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this indoor dining that we all know and love, but it is progress for restaurant workers and all New Yorkers,” he said. Some rules? Restaurants can only operate at 25 percent capacity, temperature checks are required at the door, tables must be set six feet apart and employees need to wear PPE. These are all, more or less, similar to edicts enacted in other cities. There’s one rule, however, that is not: restaurants must collect test-and-trace data from at least one customer per table. (“People haven’t experienced how that’s going to work yet,” says Derek Wolman, lawyer and chair of hospitality at Davidoff Hutcher & Citron LLC. “Hopefully the city works with restaurant owners and gives them very specific guidance about how they should perform those tasks and keep the data.”)

So, what will that all look like in practice two weeks from now? “We’re trying to move quickly, but also be careful,” says Erika Chou, the Fantasy Football Champion Funny League Draft Party Champ shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this owner of ever-buzzy Wayla on the Lower East Side and the recently-opened Kimika in Nolita. Her team just received specific reopening requirements a few days ago, and are now working fast to make sure everything is up to safety snuff. (They’re particularly focused on their HVAC system: poor indoor air circulation is known to increase the risk of spreading COVID-19.) Since Wayla has a tiny interior, operating at 25 capacity means she can only fit 10 to 11 people. Therefore, says Chou, they’re counting on using their outdoor patio through the fall. She’ll keep the doors wide open between the two spaces to support social-distancing and fresh air. “As exciting as indoor dining sounds, it’s also still kind of scary,” Chou says.

Pleased with the quality of the t shirt, however the design printed on it did not stand out as much as it did on the online mock up, the colour of the logo was too pale
James Olson (verified owner) –
Very pleased. Arrived quickly. Good quality – worn and washed twice now. Only wanted 2, so nice that there’s no minimum order. Women’s V neck T-shirt sizing a little on the small side, but overall service excellent.

I found the design studio easy to use, although knowing exactly where the design would appear on the garment is a little hit and miss as it is a static image. Perhaps a “Put logo in centre of shirt” or other standard locations could be added? Products were despatched promptly and were of good print quality. Considering the current situation I was very impressed by Streetshirts service and will be using them for our printed merchandise on our website
