No, but most of the Even more news i’m a news person and here is some more news T-Shirt but in fact I love this time they aren’t. They are killed right before usually. Humane way is to force a knife in their head, they die instantly. Why? They’re just fish. All of the animal kingdom exists by predators tearing one another apart, often eating them alive. Because other animals don’t know any better. By your logic why don’t we just butcher all animals while they’re alive? Why do we put people under anesthesia for surgery? We can just strap them down and its all just animals being animals, I mean were still helping them right? Yes, pretty much all animals, excepting some very neurologically simple ones like oysters and jellyfish, feel pain. We do not understand their nervous system but tests have shown they display adverse reactions to a previously applied “painful” stimuli I suppose they could get the “danger” signal and NOT feel pain but idk how that would possibly work, if it wasn’t unpleasant, they’d have no motivation to avoid something because it’s not like they’re mentally contemplating the cost/benefit of not exposing themselves to say, extreme heat People use to say “fish can’t feel pain! It’s just cartilage!” As if we know cartilage to NOT be painful when damaged (because it’s very painful, much moreso than like an earlobe) I’ve seen an ant writhe in pain…or at least do a very good imitation. I’m not willing to assume it wasn’t pain without solid, 100% proof that it’s not.

I can’t stand it when people put them in tail first. not at all ive been doing it for decades regularly and they die in seconds when plunged into boiling water head first. and the “scream” that vegans do so love to bang on about is simply air escaping from the shells through tiny gaps when its heated and has expanded. there is however a special place in my personal viewpoints for people who only eat the claws from a crab and ignore the other 2/3rds of the white meat in a crab that is in the chest and legs. How can you assume which kind of method of killing is more painful than the other for whatever species? I don’t know how their pain receptors work. If you have a problem with it, I’d hate for you to know the life most industrial agriculture animals endure before they become “meat”. The even less fortunate ones are used for dairy before finally becoming meat. It doesn’t piss me off. But it gives me pause because all the other meat – that I eat – and fish comes already dead. It’s weird to actually do the killing myself. But then I say, “What am I going to do? Not eat lobster or crab at home?” Then, it’s “pass the butter.”
